I needed to reschedule my first appointment because the tech showed up 1 hour past the appointment window, but when he did come (the 2nd time around) he was SUPER nice, very helpful and checked on all of my drains, even the ones which didn't have a problem! I have dealt with Black Mountain Plumbing before and totally feel like I can trust them.

The people I had out originally sold the company to another company. They were gonna charged me more so I said that’s the price I was told by the original owner so they gave me a break and they would stay with the original price. The plumber didn’t clean up after himself. I was surprised he should at least cleaned up. He did tell me I needed a new water heater but I didn’t believe him but the heater broke. He was nice.

He arrived on time. Within two hours he found the leak, explained what needed to be done, and did the repair. He had to cut out the part of the pipe with the leak and made the repair. He answered all my questions.

Service was provided on the same day that we called. James called twice to update us on the arrival time. The work was done efficiently, and the area was left clean. In addition, James also replaced the pop up rod in another bathroom sink. We would definitely call Black Mountain Plumbing again.

The toliet was leaking from the base in my son's bathroom. The technician evaluated the situation and gave me two options of how things would go. he removed the toliet from the base and it turned out that we got lucky. All he had to do was reset the toliet correctly on the base. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He even took a look at a toliet that was running in the powder room and made a quick fix for me. Very happy with service and the cost. Loved the Angies list discount too!

Black Mountain did a really good job in not only evaluating what was needed but also following up to make sure it got done with no delays. We are having multiple contractors on the site as we are doing a total backyard renovation; Black Mountain worked with our other contractors as well as notified us of what was needed for the building permit and SDG&E. We would definitely hire them again.

Outstanding from beginning to end. Courteous the whole way through. Worked well, neatly, excellent job. It required cutting into the drywall and soldering new valves. He did an outstanding job!

Daniel was punctual...called me 25 minutes before arrival and got here as agreed. He chatted with me about the problem and went right to work...took care of business and gave me some recommendations to help with keeping the problem from happening again....discussed the prices ahead of time and asked me if I was comfortable with the price. Very quick to replace the regulator. I am very satisfied with my service and would recommend Daniel and Black Mountain Plumbing again.

It started with a broken piece of flex tubing under our sink (which was braided stainless steel). there is no way this should have just failed the way it did so I though that the pressure coming into our house was way too high, after a quick call to Black Mountain the tube was fixed and they told me to grab a pressure gauge from Home Depot and check the pressure myself (saving me from having to pay a plumber to do the same) sure enough the pressure coming into the house was spiking to 130psi when it should be closer to 70-80.. So they came back out and replaced a broken globe valve and pressure regulator. Then my disposal takes a crap! But they came out quick and replaced it in less than an hour!!! Always get top notch work from Black Mountain!!!!!! Highly recommend!

I told the person I called initially exactly what I needed done. The plumbers showed up on time. I had all the parts out for them to see and told them what I needed done. they gave me a price and I said OK. They told me they were finished and when I looked at it they hadn't installed the hardware. I asked him how I was suppose to turn the water on he said there must have been a misunderstanding and added another $100 to the bill to install and I said what choice do I have that I called them because I couldn't do it. The next time I need a plumber I will not be calling them. Very over priced for work performed.

Daniel called that morning and said that he would be on his way. I was use to Soloimon coming when we called for serivce, so I asked if Solomon was available (because he was who I was use to). I told Daniel I meant no disrespect; but if Solomon could come, I would prefer that. Daniel told me he would find out if Solomon could take the service call and let me know. Daniel quickly called me back and told me Solomon was unavailable to do the job and reassured me that he would take good care of us. And, he was a man of his word! He did such a fantastic job on our water heater bringing it up to code. He was thorough . . . explained everything that was wrong .... and what he would do to correct the issue. He was professional, courteous and polite. I love that! Each and everytime we call for service, Black Mountain Plumbing has provided excellent service!!! . . . James was very diligent in his work, gave me a firm quote and worked hard to get the work done. When done, he explained what he had done.

The plumber was supposed to replace a wax ring. They came, they removed the toilet and then said if they set it back, they will not be able to provide warranty. So they didn't place the toilet and charged us for just removing it and leaving it "As Is" "Where Is" $123. We are extremely disappointed about that pricing.

Daniel Kent provided prompt service, arrived on time, checked out my water heater (which was working), and did trouble shooting for the sprinkler leak. I will have my gardener do that repair. Checked my water pressure (OK) and showed me how to use the sprinkler system isolation valve. Since the water heater is 17 years old, he also gave me advice on servicing it and probably replacing it soon as it is past life expectancy. Overall very professional, not trying to sell me services I don't need, and for a reasonable cost. Will use Black Mountain Plumbing again!

Daniel was excellent. Showed up on tine, told us what he was going to do and unclogging tge drain.

We spent about 30 minutes walking around the house and examining the potential for tankless hot water. He was very complete in his examination of the factors and spent time measuring and asking questions about our usage and our expenses. The estimate came immediately because he was using his tablet to input all of the information. If we decide to go this way, Black Mountain Plumbing will certainly be seriously considered for the job!

This is the second time I have used black Mountain. Solomon arrived in the window communicated. He was able to quickly identify and resolve the issue. While out I had him quote some additional work in need to have done that I'm planning on having them perform as well.

Great experience. Daniel called when he was on his way and arrived exactly on time. He looked at the shower head and gave me the price for that. Then we went to look at the kitchen sink. It's a double sink and the non-disposal side had a slow drain that I wanted fixed. He showed me that there was a restriction in the pipes because of the size of the pipe that we had and the way it was configured. He said he could clear the pipes no problem, but I also had the option to replace the pipes, which would keep the restriction from recurring, and because the new pipe was a single piece, it would also eliminate several potential leak points. Sounded great, so I opted to replace the pipes - they are 20 years old after all. He gave me the quote for that and got to work. While he was under the sink, he noticed that there was a lot of rust around the top of the disposal unit, and called me over to look at it. It looked like it was about to fall apart! I asked if he could replace it, and he said he could. I appreciated that he didn't say that I'd have to schedule another service call for this unplanned repair, because I've had that happen with other providers. He gave me a quote, replaced the garbage disposal, showed me all the work and cleaned up completely. I'm very satisfied and will definitely use Black Mountain again and request that Daniel Kent be my technician!
