They were awesome and I really liked them. They were fast, polite, punctual, and cautious. I think the price was reasonable especially because I moved from a second-story place to a three-story place. I would definitely recommend them because I had a positive experience with them.

Needless to say I am supper happy with the move, and will definitely do business again. I dont know how many movers they have, but make sure to ask for Victor Johnny and yoyo ( I believe that was his name :). Bay Park moving helped me to move from my apartment to a newly bought home. The we so good and responsive. Eric, Dan and Li are so good and even moved the boxes upstairs in my new home. No damages and no issues.

We have a lot of large antique furniture so I was worried about the movers. I have moved before and things have been broken, especially with the tricky stairwell. The company was very responsive, efficient and incredibly polite. They worked hard from the time they arrived until they left. I was amazed! I have never had better movers. Nothing was broken and there wasn?t even a scratch on the walls. Very impressive!

Our company was well prepared for the move, and Bay Park Moving had the right combination of personnel and equipment to insure that the move was very efficient. I am happy to report that they were punctual, careful, personable, and they moved faster than any movers I have ever seen in my life. And when it came time to pay them, they charged us $100 LESS than their estimate! Highly recommended!

I have to say that I was very happy with the move and thought the guys doing the moving were fast and efficient. The movers were on time, worked fast and were competent and helpful. THE ISSUE THAT HAS REALLY UPSET ME IS WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE MOVE...AS IT TURNS OUT MY OUTDOOR GRILL WAS DAMAGED. NOTHING EXTENSIVE, JUST A BROKEN KNOB AND SEVERAL BROKEN BURNERS. I WAS ABLE TO FIX THE ISSUE FOR UNDER $200. DESPITE FILING THE APPROPRIATE PAPERWORK, DOUG, THE OWNER GAVE ME AN INCREDIBLE "RUN AROUND." TO THIS DAY HE HAS NOT REIMBURSED FOR THE DAMAGE NOR HAS HE BEHAVED IN ANYTHING APPROXIMATING A PROFESSIONAL OR FAIR MANNER. I FIND THIS TO BE EXTRAORDINARY BECAUSE HE HAD A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. HAD HE SIMPLY DEALT WITH ME AND THE SITUATION FAIRLY, I would have been a big fan.

The move could not have gone smoother. John, the driver, actually called to see if they could arrive early as they completed their first job of the day quicker than anticipated. The 3 man crew arrived with a nice truck and all the supplies they needed (blankets, plastic wrap, tools, etc.). They walked through to assess the items to be moved and then went right to work. With 2 men hauling items out and 1 in the truck organizing, the loading went very quickly. They were very careful not to bump walls or drag anything across the floor. The unloading was also very quick and everything ended up in the intended rooms -- no hunting for a box marked "kitchen" that was misplaced in the bedroom! We did all the packing ourselves and were completely ready when the truck arrived, which also made the move much easier and less expensive. They were done with the entire move in just under 2 hours! The only negative is that payment is in cash only but is due after all items have been unloaded. They are very clear about this when you make your initial call to set up an appointment.

They showed up exactly on time, were very professional and courteous, and were very careful with my belongings. They went above and beyond to ensure a well executed move when picking up and dropping off everything. I would recomend them without reservation and would use them again with out hesitation.

Great communication from office about scheduling and updates on status. Took great care in move large items and worked very fast and efficiently throughout the entire process. Movers were very pleasant and followed all instructions provided.

The Bay Park team was punctual, professional, hard-working, and incredibly fast ? they took immaculate care of our items and of the houses, and didn?t leave so much as a smudge on anything. I was particularly impressed with their methods ? the way the team communicated with each other was extremely effective, and the way one person took responsibility for disassembling and reassembling large items meant that no parts were lost and nothing was forgotten. To top things off, not only was the original quote very reasonable, but the team came in under the estimate by several man-hours. We have moved many times over the years, and have had a wide range of experiences with moving companies, from dismal to outstanding ? and Bay Park Moving ranks at the top of this list.

It went well overall. They did great work and finished in the time quoted. With three guys working one guy seemed to be just standing around a lot. I requested a two man crew, but they only had three man crews available. They also didn't show much concern that I wanted to wipe off spiders and stuff before we loaded it.

It went very smoothly. Doug came out to give an estimate (he was prompt and very efficient). When he delivered the estimate a couple of days later, I felt that he had slightly overestimated the number of men and time needed for doing the packing part of the job. He accepted my modification and we were on. The guys showed up for packing and loading right on time. The packing took even less time time than I expected. Because of the nature of the destination apartment, unloading couldn't take place for 2 1/2 hours. I had warned Doug about this, and he took care of it, scheduling another job in the interval, so I didn't have to pay for downtime. The guys unloaded the truck quickly, efficiently, and professionally. When they delivered the bill, it was actually for 30% LESS than the revised estimate. Only one piece of furniture was damaged in the move -- and it wasn't their fault: It was a piece of junk TV table held together with plastic threaded pieces that couldn't take the slightest bump. I ought to have disassembled it for the move. I would not hesitate to hire them again, nor to recommend them to friends -- or AngiesList members, obviously!

After interviewing several moving companies, I decided to go with Bay Park Moving. The owner and CEO, Doug, was friendly and professional and scheduled an appointment for the day after I called to do the the inspection and quote. He e-mailed me a quote that included a "not to exceed" price of no more than 10% of the quote. Their rates were extremely reasonable compared to the national chains that I got quotes from. Piece of advice, if a moving company wants to only quote you on the phone, or doesn't give you a "not to exceed" quote in writing after the site inspection, along with their written reasonable expectations of you in order to ensure the quoted price, run for the hills.

Bay Park Moving was called in at the last minute on a Saturday. We had originally arranged our move with a friend's friend. This individual was about 2.5 hours late and when he arrived at 10:00AM, we quickly realized that he did not have the equipment, people, or the vehicle necessary to do the entire job. While my father-in-law and I loaded his trailer with boxes, my wife used Angie's list to find another mover. Bay Park Moving was able to accommodate us. They called ahead to let us know the time of arrival. When they got there, they listened to our requests. Not all of the furniture was going to be moved, so they paid close attention and asked questions when things were not clear. They wrapped all of the furniture in plastic and used plenty of mats and blankets to prevent damage. NOTHING arrived broken. When we could not take the crib out of son's room due to its size, they helped us dismantle it and reassemble it at the new place. We did use them again 3 weeks later to move the rest of the furniture, which included a baby grand piano. This will be discussed in a separate report. Price paid was specific to this move.

First I would like to commend the crew, they were amazing! Joe called to let me know they were running 10 minutes behind schedule. When they arrived he apologized and got the crew right to work. He was very responsive to my needs and requests. The crew was exceedingly polite, thoughtful, and patient. I was 7 months pregnant. They anticipated my needs, and offered to move boxes out of the way that I was packing at the last moment. They worked quickly, carefully, and steadily. They did not slow down! The rate was exactly as agreed upon in the contract. Unfortunately, during the move there was an item that was damaged: the surface of a large computer desk was gouged. I pointed the damage out to Joe and the crew. Joe informed me of the procedure to report the damage. I sent a letter to Doug with pictures showing the damage along with some product literature. Within 30 days I received a check to cover repairing the damage, based on the contracted rate of insurance per pound of the item. Wow! The best moving experience I've ever had.

Nothing was damaged and that was amazing because they moved very large and heavy pieces of furniture. It was a pleasure to work with them. Definitely request this team!

Bay Park provided an estimate and performed a one day pack and move for me. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. They not only completed the move earlier than expected but for significantly less money than the original estimate. I highly recommend them, many moving companies scam and overcharge, this is not one of those companies they were the best I've ever worked with and I have moved many times.

The movers did an excellent job. I was a bit concerned when three movers showed up after I had contracted for two, but I was persuaded that three would make more sense and I can easily see that's the case. The move cost less than I had anticipated and the movers were friendly and professional. One table got dinged a tiny bit, but otherwise, everything was terrific.

It went great. We hired an extra person because we had a lot of big "stuff". They were very careful with our things and pointed out any discrepancy on our furniture prior to moving it. Johnny and Alex managed the move. They were awesome. We had a few small requests and they were very patient and courteous with us. We will definitely use them again! They were very efficient! I submitted an estimate request on BayPark moving's web site and got called the next business day to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Paul came by and did a quick walk through of the apartment and asked what he would be moving and what (if anything) he'd be packing. We primarily needed help moving the furniture and boxes down stairs. He emailed me an estimate the next day. I had no problem scheduling the move for the day that I wanted it at the end of a month as I called them 4 weeks in advance. On the day of the move, the 3 promised workers showed up. They were about 45 minutes late - due to long lines at the service station they said. I was given a call saying they were running a bit late so I was informed. That didn't really matter to me as I had plenty of last minute packing/organizing to do. The movers were very experienced and used the 1st floor landing as a staging area to load the truck to save a flight of stairs. They were able to get everything moved in the amount of time that was originally estimated. This was an hourly-fee move, so I was glad that they worked so fast. They were also able to move some furniture that I had sitting in the garage into the house for me. The only damage that was done was a couple of black marks in the apartment where they needed to move a large dresser around a corner. There were no dents or deep gouges in the wall, just a black mark that came off with some soap and water. That is in great contrast to the movers who put the dresser in the room originally. They left a big gouge in the wall that I needed to patch.

The gentleman who came to give an estimate was very informative and they emailed me an estimate the next day, including different scenarios that I was still considering regarding storage, etc. Although they weren't able to give me the time I wanted when I first booked the appointment, they called me a few days before the move since they had someone reschedule, so they were able to come out at my preferred time. Since we had done a lot of moving of small items already, the job took far less time than they had estimated - especially since the three guys they sent were quick, efficient, and very respectful of our belongings.

It went very well. I first spoke with their company representative on the phone to set things up, then to their owner to confirm, and then I worked with the three moving guys Erik, Ray, and Al for most of today. They were a little early, which is just fine. They worked very efficiently, asked for my instructions when needed, and did great work. They were not able to get the truck as close as we liked to the drop-off location but they worked with what they had. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them again, and I myself would use them again. Also, Erik was very good about making sure I knew about all the charges involved, including the gas fee and the drive time fee.

These guys were fabulous! Great attitudes - Eric, Victor and Abraham. They even brought a fourth guy they didn't charge me for. They did the whole move in just over two hours! I wasn't as organized as I should be, there was lots of small stuff, which they cheerfully moved as well. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

We had to change the move date because of a health problem the day before the move was scheduled to take place. Doug Hackley was very helpful, answering an emergency call in the evening before the move was originally scheduled. We rescheduled for the day after Christmas and the crew arrived promptly at 9:30 AM driving from San Diego. They got everything in a large 2 bedroom apartment packed and loaded by 2 PM, working through lunch, when the apartment was tented for termites. Joe, Johnny and Victor were skilled and courteous. Everything arrived in San Diego safe and sound. I highly recommend them for your move.
