Advanced Sprinkler & Drainage Repair

They did come when they said they were going to come out. It took a while before they could fit us in for an appointment. They fixed a broken sprinkler and then also had said that they recommended a water pressure regulator.

They did a great job documenting the work to be done with photos and detail of work to be performed. Price was way too high at $2288.

The young man was prompt and friendly. He showed me how to operate my sprinkler controls and explained why the sprinklers were clogging up. He unclogged them and replaced the broken one with a superior type. He even helped my catch my little dog when she ran out (my fault). He set my controls for me based on what I told him about my watering needs.

They did a good job. They were very timely and responsive. They provided quality work. I was generally pleased with the overall experience.

My sprinkler system is not easy to deal with. The company could not fix it. It was installed more than twenty years ago. When I called them back before the thirty days, they charged me because they told me I hadn't requested the call back. I was just not happy. They charged me for two hours labor and for materials. They also charged me for a service call. It is not an advanced sprinkler system. It is actually an ancient sprinkler system.

Excellent. The technician was early, explained what needed to be done, gave me a quote and began work on the job. It took about two hours to complete the project and the sprinklers are working now. No leaks.

They were so professional and did such a good job. We were very pleased, especially since it's so hard to find companies that are this responsive.

The rep from West End came and after checking our whole irrigation system, gave me an estimate of the work that needed to be done. He stayed for a couple of hours that day, but did not have the valves we needed on his truck or the additional time required to install them at that time, so he came back a few days later to replace all (7) irrigation valves. I had to leave early the day he returned but he said it was no problem, they would simply send a bill. The charges were as estimated, he spent extra time going over the timer with me and showing me how much and how long to set the sprinklers for. He knew what he was doing, and gladly shared his expertise.

There was no problem reaching the company by phone. There was a delay of several days before they were able to come out. The representative was friendly and efficient.

We had them out several times. they were very honest, and I would use them again.

Overall, I was very pleased. Greg arrived on time for the appointment, discussed my options with me, and got right to work. After installing the new controller, he set up my watering zones and times to take advantage of the capabilities of the new system. Then he turned on each zone and made needed adjustments to the sprinkler heads and nozzles. He taught me how to use the new controller and was very patient with my many questions.

Because Scott is so good at what he does I had to wait approximately 10 days to get an appointment with him, but the wait was very worthwhile. Besides being good at what he does he was very pleasant and informative as to exactly what the problem was and what he needed to do to fix it.

The rep came, checked the problem, knew exactly what was wrong, and promptly repaired the problem. I also asked him to check if he could install a drip line in my back and side yards. Overall, the experience with this company was great. I am definitely going to use them again.

This company did excellent work on a timely basis. Their representative, Greg really seemed to know what he was doing, worked quickly and answered all my stupid questions.

He came out and had a replacement controller in case he needed it. He did! Very efficient. He installed it, checked out the irrigation and was done within 40 minutes. I was very satisfied.

I would highly recommend Westend Services after such a pleasant first experience.

Greg did good work. Even rescheduled for followup to do a system check when he ran out of time. Took a while to get an appointment, they are that busy and follow-up call is not for another two weeks.

Scott was professional and appeared to know what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem and made the repairs quickly. I thought the service was a little pricey, both labor costs and parts. The controller cost $125, whereas similar ones ( in terms of controls and number of stations) were approximately 1/2 as much at Home Depot.

My only complaint would be that this company is so busy that their schedule did not allow them to get here for several days (5). They did, however, make every effort to fit me into their schedule at the earliest possible time. Since I was going out of town leaving the water off for the entire property wasn't the end of the world. It would be nice if they had more employees the quality of Robert so that they could meet they growing need of new clients. Other than that they were fabulous on all levels. It is hard to imagine anyone knowing more about irrigation systems than Robert. Mine is quite complex and I don't actually understand it. Although it is older, he told me to never let anyone try to talk me into replacing the electronic part of my system that it was an excellent model. So, I didn't feel like anyone was trying to sell me anything.

Showed up on time, found problem right away and replaced the valve. Good cleanup of work area. Did a complete check of the system. Price seemed fair for work done.

I called WestEnd Services about removing and locating water and irrigation lines before I landscaping done in my yard. I needed it done quickly as the pavers would be installed that next week. Even though they were busy on another job. They had Greg come out to find out exactly what needed to be done. Greg was so nice and helpful explaining everything. And after I told him about needing it done quickly, he took the time right then and dug up the irrigation connectors and located the water line, and capped off the water to the old irrigation line. I was very pleased and happy I wouldn't have to worry about it later.

Beginning with my first call to Westend, our experience was outstanding. Sandy took my call and assured me that coming to tears over a sprinkler system was not new to them. She was efficient and helpful in listening to what we needed. She assigned our job to Robert and we set the date. The day before our appointment, Robert left a message confirming our appointment. Robert showed up during the window of time we arranged. He took the time to listen to what I wanted of Westend and why we needed their services: 1) that day, and 2) in the long run. He got right to work & diagnosed the problems, took the time to set up our timers, and discussed with me his recommended approach. Sandy contacted me, we scheduled another appointment. Again, Robert was on time, efficient & proficient in resolving all of the problems (including locating & repairing the broken pipe). We would immediately turn to Westend for any additional or future work. Billing was very fair.

Greg arrived on time and assessed what needed to be done. It took him 3 hours to complete the work. Upon inspection, one head that he replaced was not the type I wanted, so extra time was involved to correct it. Because of that incident and the fact we had a discrepancy on his arrival time, I felt I was over charged for the labor. A followup visit was needed (this company has a 30 day guarantee for work done) as additional problems occurred. Greg returned within a few days and was courteous and accommodating to fix the additional problems. A small fee was incurred for the second visit. I would hire this company again, but make sure that we agree on the start and end time!

Scott was on time, but didn't really do what I asked for. I had to have him come out a second time to finish the job, and he never really got it right. He was pushing me to put in a new system, saying the old one wasn't appropriate for our yard. But it had been working just fine for several years, so I feel that was bogus advice.

I WAS FAVORABLY IMPRESSED WITH THE WORK AND MANNER OF THIS TECHNOLOGY. HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE & PROFESSIONAL, POLITE & WILLING TO ANSWER QUESTIONS. HE MADE ADJUSTMENTS THAT OTHERS HAD FAILED TO ACCOMPLISH.
