The doors were a custom color and needed to be ordered. Delivery was a few weeks off and Jerome kept in touch with me as to the expected delivery date. He did an excellent job of installation and was always there when he said he would be. He does all the work himself to insure quality. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

He was familiar with the wear out of nylon gears on the opener and showed me the nylon shreds after taking the housing off. We agreed on a repair price and he spent the next 15-20 minutes putting in the new gear and calibrating the system. Garage door now works perfectly.

- I called Jerome first thing the next morning and he happened to be in our area and said he could come by and take a look at it in 15 minutes. He was right on time, checked out the problem and quoted us a price. We agreed to have him fix it. He told us he had the parts with him and could fix it in about 30-45 mins. He fixed it no problem within 30 minutes, straightened the tweaked door and lubricated all parts. Our door is as good as new and runs much quieter too! Jerome was fantastic! I'm going to refer him all my friends!

Jerome of AA-OK Garage Door Sales and Services took my call while out in the field. He squeezed me into his already full day. He arrived earlier than expected, was extremely personable, efficient and knowledgeable about my problem - from my brief telephone explanation. In less than :30 he re-threaded the wire spools on each end of the torsion spring rod, neatly shortened one slackened end of the wire, re-tightened the torsion spring then tested the door several times. He explained his actions clearly and with respect; neither talking down to me or using trade jargon. I inquired into future door tune-ups and Jerome didn't jump on my query with the typical sales pitch. I felt his advice was honest and not self-serving at all. Jerome warrants his work and provides a professionally printed sales receipt with his Contractors License number on it.

We were suddenly unable to open our garage door more than a couple of feet. We called AA-OK and Jerome was able to come out a couple of days later (this wasn't an emergency). He replaced one broken spring and we decided to replace the other one at the same time. He noticed a bent bar on part of the mechanism and fixed that and then oiled the relevant joints. We were very pleased with both the work and the price and would not hesitate to use this service again.

Jerome installed our garage door a couple of years ago. After a power outage the trolley would not engage the chain. Jerome came out the same day, got it working and lubricated the system at no cost. Truly great service!

5 years ago I purchased a garage door opener from Sears and had a lousy installer. About a year later, I hired Jerome of AA-OK to adjust the Sears garage door so it worked for me. But it was a lousy product so 2 years ago, I hired Jerome to install a new door. He recommended a lower priced product that is perfect for my needs. He just recently came out to provide routine service. Again he is exactly what I want from a service provider.

There is a loud sound in the house like a skateboarder hitting the gate. While trying to figure out the problem, I discovered that I needed to put out the trash. I tried to open the garage door and it wouldn't open, no matter what I did. I called AA-OK and he said that I probably had a broken spring. I didn't mention that one of the springs had a two inch gap in the middle. He was having a long day, so he came out the next morning, Tuesday, and put a clamp on the spring so we could use the door. One of the first things he said was that both springs were the same age and he quoted us a small difference, probably the price of a spring, for getting both replaced rather than just the broken one. My husband and I had discussed trying to see if we could get both replaced, so this was an easy decision. He made an appointment for the following Monday to put in the new springs that he ordered. The appointment was between 3 and 6, but he had another long day and didn't get here until 6:30. However, I just showed him to the garage and let him work. When he was done he knocked on the door and we wrote him a check.

Went well. He arrived when he said he would and was very nice. Work was done in 30 minutes. He actually told me how I could fix it myself but I was too busy so I had him do it.

Aside from the fact that he was a little later than expected (scheduled for around 5 PM, showed up around 6:30 PM), which was fine for me as I had no other plans for the evening. He listened to the problem and stated it was what he thought. He went to his truck, got the parts, tools and ladder, and went to work. He was done in less than an hour. Not sure if he meant to leave the stinky, old part, but he did. (I'm not sure what to do with it now.) Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work.

The work was ok, but there are dents in the rubber weather stripping. He was constantly on the phone and not attentive to what he should be doing. He gave me a $100 discount for showing up two hours late. I did not like him at all.

In this life satisfaction is a desire in tradesmanship but for the most part it is lipservice. This company is a startling example of what it is to have the highest standards of craft coupled with punctuality and reliability. They were on time, and did everything they said they would. They are professional and take pride in the work - qualities not found in much abundance today.

I called in the morning. Gerome came by on his way home at 7 pm the same day. He fixed my door within 30 minutes. Very professional, courteous and helpful.

I called first thing in the morning in a panic. My husband was out of town and the garage door openers were not working. My disabled teenager would be coming home early from school on the bus and needing to use her garage door opener the very next day (she cannot lift the door by hand manually)! Jerome's day was already full, but he offered to come at 5 pm before heading for an appointment with his wife in the early evening. I was late getting home, but he called my cell phone and had already made the repair before I got there. The charge was for the repair and for a new remote opener. He was kind enough to leave me the bill so I could mail him the check. The other company I called, who originally put in the garage door opener a few years ago, was booked until the following day, and all they had available was 10 am to noon which is so hard to do when you work full time. Many thanks to Jerome for saving the day in a timely way so my teenager could get into the garage!

This company is "the best"! In the middle of a "remodel" my garage door was stuck in the "half open" position when I returned home one late afternoon. I had many appliances in the garage and did not want to have the door open all night. After many phone calls to many companies, Joel was the only one who was willing to come that night. He arrived as promised, fixed the problem and charged me the "minimum". In my book, he is the "greatest".....

I called Jerome (who I found through Angie's list). Jerome gave me a quote for the work and we scheduled an appointment. Jerome arrived on time, was great with my dogs, replaced the spring and serviced the door -- all in less than an hour and for the original quote.

We saw AA-OK Garage Door had good recommendations in Angie's List. I called for an appointment on Monday afternoon and he made an appointment for very early (arrival between 7 and 8) Wednesday morning. This was good because I could get the garage door fixed and get on with my day. He called just before his arrival, I moved the cars and left him to work. He did the work efficiently and the garage door seems to make less noise and have less vibration now.

Jerome came out on the same day that we called, and replaced the broken spring. After he left, the door would stop before opening completely; this is a problem that had occurred intermittently for some time, but was not evident while Jerome was there. We called Jerome on a Saturday, and he came out immediately to investigate. He changed out a malfunctioning circuit board, and charged only for the part. He also helped me program the HomeLink garage door opener in my new car.

I was frantic when my garage door bent in the center, came off its rails, and was stuck halfway up with my car inside. I called several other companies on Angie's List but since it was 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon, no one wanted to schedule a repair until the next day. Jerome said he would be there within an hour and he was. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He assured me that I didn't need to replace the door or the opener. He got the door back on its rails and scheduled a return visit to re-mount the opener so this wouldn't happen again. He didn't ask for any payment at the time of the emergency visit but said I could pay him when he came back. He showed up two days later at the scheduled time and re-mounted the opener and added a metal support across the top of the door and some brackets along the door frame for support. Very professional in all aspects. He's now my go-to guy for all garage door related things.

My garage door was not working properly and Jerome came at the time agreed upon and fixed the door and came back again and installed a strut. I do not hesitate to recommend him.

I and the prior owner of our house had had repeated problems with the garage door stalling in the middle of opening the garage door. The problem had been addressed repeatedly by another garage door repairman. AA-OK explained the needed work clearly before it was performed and finished the work professionally and successfully. The amount charged was very fair given the amount of work and parts that were installed. Most importantly, AA-OK fixed the problem once and for all. I highly recommend AA-OK.

Jerome made time in his busy day to help me in an emergency when my garage door broke half-way open. He was fast, professional, and very courteous. I highly recommend his service.
