I called Jerome with an "Emergency". My roll up garage door was off the track and the cable was off. Could not open or close the door. Although Jerome was fully booked, he squeezed me in and came over the same evening. He was very professional, quickly assessed the problem, got it repaired, and my door working. He said all my equipment (cable, springs, etc.) were fine, and only charged me $60 for labor. I highly recommend him.

It went well, he took his time and installed the new garage openers in a professional manner no non-sense just work done right.

Jerome arrived as scheduled. Replaced the gears and balanced the door. Did so professionally and efficiently. Highly recommend AA OK Garage doors for future jobs.

I have worked with Jerome, of AA-OK Garage for many years. He is a professional, excellent at garage door and accessory installation, as well as follow up on changes years down the road. He has been responsive without any hesitation. He has installed our garage door and door opening unit. He has serviced the spring mechanism, and I have always felt that his prices are fair and his work warranted. Most recently, he replaced an accessory part that had worn out. He came right away and was very prompt. He got in and out and was done within 15 minutes. He was right on top of it and could not do anything to improve his service.

Our garage door was not functioning properly. I contacted the manufacturer and they gave me the names of several garage door repairmen in the area that they recommended. I looked on Angie's List and found 2 of the companies that the manufacturer had recommended. I contacted AA-OK because of the excellent and numerous reviews on Angie's List. Jerome, the owner and operator of AA-OK came to our house when scheduled and quickly made the repairs. He was very courteous and professional, and the cost for his service was very fair.

Jerome is great! My garage opener stopped working one night. Jerome stopped by early next morning to take a look. He immediately knew what was wrong (broken part) and assured me that I didnt need a new opener unless I was concerned by the noise. He went out of his way to stop by after work 2 days later to fix the opener.

Our experience with this company was awesome! We ordered a garage door from Jerome a decade ago, and we were so impressed that we saved his contact information and called him again when we were ready to remodel. (Our old door was still in great condition and working perfectly, we were just ready for a new look.) The door we wanted this time was difficult to find, but Jerome found what we wanted and charged us a price much lower than any place else we found. Jerome returned calls right away, showed up exactly when scheduled, was professional, helpful and always friendly. Other members of our family also have had garage doors installed by Jerome and were equally pleased with his service and the results. We can't say enough nice things about him--highly recommend!

Jerome was great. We had an old single wooden 2 car garage door that needed replacing. He replaced the door and fixed the badly installed garage motor as well. Also threw in a extra remote. Great service!

We contacted this company via email on their web site. They never got back to us and it has been 2 weeks. We went with another company that was prompt and professional.

We had used AA-OK Garage Doors when we replaced our old garage door years and years ago and were pleased with their services so we called them again. Jerome (the owner and installer) is just the nicest. He is such a hard worker. His busy schedule was such that his estimate visit was around 8:00P.M. (which was just fine with us). After a busy day he stopped by to see the job and he even recalled the previous install from years ago. He gave us brochures on the products, web sites to review, and color chits. After we made our choice, Jerome ordered the new door and coordinated the install date with our busy schedule. The installation took better than half a day. Jerome worked hard, fast, and with precision. A couple of decisions had to be made during the installation for which he asked our opinion and offered his professional opinion as well. As Jerome left I joked that I will be sure to call him for our next garage door installation (not in my lifetime). He told us not to hesitate to call him should we feel some adjustments are needed after some use of the new door. AA-OK totally gets our recommendation.

He was pretty good. I would give him top marks. He was prompt and timely. We had a little problem eight months later and he came back and fixed it at no charge. When we called him, he came right out and fixed all the remote controls in about 5 minutes.

I first contacted Jerome by telephone. He was busy and asked me to send details of the job to him via text message. From that point my only communication with him was by text messages. He came on the day scheduled (I was at work and had left the garage unlocked for him) and removed the old unit and installed the new one. I am pleased with the new garage door opener. I have a finished garage (drywall installed like the inside of a house) so the installation disturbed the drywall where the rail is attached to the wall above the garage door. This minor flaw in no way prevents me from recommending contractor to others.

He ended up being able to repair the door and saved me the cost of having to replace the whole thing.

Jerome was very responsive. When I called to get an estimate for a garage door opener, he was very knowledgeable on what type of openers I should have. He also has a very good price. Once the appointment is made, he called to confirm the appointment, and he showed up as promised. He installed the garage door opener and the release mechanism free of charge. He also gave me information on how to set up other remote controls if I wanted to. All and all just a very pleasant experience, which is (surprisingly) rare in the home-improvement industry.

Owner did a fine job at a reasonable price. He appears confident in his abilities and pleasant to speak with. I would highly recommend this vendor-owner. Job took less than :30. Very pleased with this vendor. I forgot to write reports on past two visits: 1) First visit he replaced broken tension spring, rewound it then removed cable slack with a neat trick. 2) Third visit he shifted track to eliminate heavy vibration of door upon closing. Problem corrected so far.

I had trouble with my garage door since I moved into my new house 12 years ago. Mostly with the motor. About 5 years ago it wouldn't go up anymore. Thinking I needed a new garage door, I put kept putting off calling anyone. I finally decided it was time and checked Angie's List for reviews. I am so glad I called AA-OK. I called Jerome and we arranged to a time for him to come give me an estimate. He showed up on time. He gave me an estimate for a new door and a new door opener (motor) and then said, "your door is really fine; its just the springs that are broken. I can replace those and put a new opener in for you and it will be much less." Here I was expecting to pay $1500 - $2000 and he's telling me I can get a fix for $345. Well, where do you find that kind of honesty? I could have kicked myself for waiting so many years. We scheduled another day and time for the work. Jerome couldn't get to me for a little more than a week for which he apologized. Apparently, he is busy with work (good for him) and is a one man operation. I didn't mind waiting at all, though. One the scheduled day, he called ahead and let me know he was coming. He did an excellent job and now my door works perfectly.

A neighbor backed into my garage door pretty much destroying it. A friend recommended AA-OK so I called them and they (Jerome) was out promptly to assess the damage. The accident caused substantial damage to my house that needed to be addressed before a new door could be installed so, before he began to remove the broken door so I could get my cars out of the garage, Jerome was able to hook me up with a reputable construction contractor who was out within the hour to do the necessary structural repair work (which the contractor completed quickly and with a very high level of quality). After the structural work was done, Jerome got the new door up and working perfecting ASAP. It's rare these days to find the combination of competence, responsiveness, and professionalism exhibited by Jerome. I highly recommend AA-OK to anyone needing garage door repair or replacement work.

Jerome scheduled an appointment that was very convenient for me. He arrived on time and proceeded to complete the garage door tune-up. He explained which parts needed to be lubricated annually, which lubricant products to use, and how I could complete the process in the future. As for the loud click sound my garage door made, that was caused by the door being slightly off balance. Jerome made the repair. When I went to get my checkbook to pay him for his service, he told me that I didn't owe him anything since the door was basically new. A very unexpected gesture. Jerome is professional, honest, reliable, and just plain nice.

We disconnected the door so it would close for the day while the tenant was at work. I called Jerome who was quick to respond. He cleaned the hardware and installed new springs. It works well now. Jerome was responsive, courteous, and reasonably priced. He came out the afternoon I called him. The job cost was $155 and worth it. Its a relief to me that I can call someone and have a problem solved with minor involvement from my own time.
