I called ABC Glass for an estimate on replacement of my glass combination tub/shower enclosure door. We set up an appointment for them to come out and take measurements. Roberto arrived on time, took the measurements and answered questions I had about the work. He gave me an oral ballpark cost figure and, a couple of days later, I received a call from the ABC office with an exact figure. A few days later I went over to their small showroom where I was shown samples of the glass and frame options available. I made my selections and about a week later I received a call that my order had arrived. Oscar came out that same day and did the installation. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I'm very happy with my new enclosure door and wouldn't hesitate to recommend ABC to anyone.

I thought they were absolutely marvelous. My handyman who is wonderful said that he could replace the part. My handyman and Angie's List both referred me to them. I was really impressed with them. I called a couple places and they would say "they didn't have the part" or "were not going to find the part". The guy knew what he was doing and said that they had a guy who is really good at this. The price was very reasonable. They came out twice as well. A lot of companies would charge you for the visit.

Let me start by saying that the finished product is beautiful and seems to be very high quality. HOWEVER, the overall experience was somewhat frustrating. We went to their offices to view shower doors and the woman at the desk was very helpful and seemed knowledgeable. She helped us find what we needed without overselling us and based on that good experience, their fair prices and Angie List's recommendations we decided to go with them, particularly because their installation price was much lower than what we'd been getting elsewhere. In order to ensure that the door would fit, they scheduled one of their guys to come out and measure it in a time slot between 11am-12:30pm. I took time off from work to be there and after 1pm rolled around (1/2 hour past when they should have arrived) without any sign of them, I called them only to be told that their measuring guy got out of another job earlier and decided to come by at 10am only to find I wasn't there so he left a note on my door. He did NOT however return in the appropriate time slot even though they were unable to contact me prior to when it was scheduled as I was in meetings all morning. While they were mildly apologetic when I called, at the very, very least they should have called me promptly at 11am to say they had to reschedule. As it was, I wasted nearly two hours and as they were unable to send someone out immediately I had to reschedule again. I impressed upon them that they could NOT simply arrive early -- they had to come within the allotted time slot. This time their guy did, and he apologized and quot;for the confusionand quot; and measured the enclosure (a process which took literally 3 minutes at the most). He then gave me a final quote with an installation price $60 higher than they'd quoted me earlier. I challenged him on this and he called into the office and they explained that the extra fee was to remove the existing frame and prep it for the new one. As I am fairly handy with a screwdriver I asked if I removed it and cleaned the tiles, would the installation fee be what we were originally quoted? I was assured that it would be. On installation day, they showed up promptly and were very efficient in getting the new frame and glass doors into place. They look great, feel very solid and move very easily and smoothly on their rollers. However, when I was presented with the bill, it had the whole installation fee even though I had removed the old frame and cleaned the tiles. I challenged this, and the installer said he'd never heard of there being an alternative installation rate. However, he was very nice and as I insisted, he gamely called the office and explained my issue. As I could only hear his half of the conversation, I don't know exactly what was said but it appeared that they did not want to honor the installation price and it was only after he told them that he would personally verify that when he had arrived, the old frame had already been removed and the tile was fully prepped did they tell him he could strike the $60. So ultimately, I got what I ordered at the price that I had agreed to, but it was a much more annoying and time-intensive experience than it should have been. And had I been less firm, I would have ended up paying more than I should have. I am very torn as to whether I would use them again as the ultimate work and product are quite good, and the price that I finally paid was decent, but I did feel that they did not treat me and my business with the respect that it deserved.

PERFECT!!! These guy were the most professional I've ever seen! They arrived on time and were very courteous, clean, and organized. They had all their tools layed out in perfect order like I've never see before. The door was lined up beautifully. I was so impressed with these people. Have done lots of work myself on my rental properties and have had a lot of experience with workers. These people were exceptional! The price was better than any other bid. You would not be disappointed using this company.

Roberto Lomeli was super helpful providing thorough answers to our questions and the various options available to us given the configuration of our bathrooms. Roberto and ABC staff stood out because it was clear to us that they understood the product and the installation options and challenges (and how to meet them) first hand -- they all had experience in installation, not only sales. In addition, their credibility and integrity also came through when they provided options for us that were both better fits for our needs and less expensive than what we originally intended to install. The work was performed within a week's time even during the holiday season. The showers are highly functional, beautiful and sturdy. We are very pleased. Thank you.

I needed to replace a broken mirror, just the glass, so that I could reuse the frame. The local art supply store quoted me almost $80, and another glass shop quoted $132.48. Finally I found ABC. I e-mailed them asking for a quite,and they responded that the cost would be $23.25, so I wrote back and said the price was acceptable. They didn't respond, so a few days later I wrote back asking when it would be read, and they said it was already waiting to be picked up. When I picked it up, they only charged $20.10.

They did a wonderful job and it looked good. They were very professional. They came when they said and they were on time. The price was reasonable.

I got bids from 3 A-rated businesses for a glass shower door. Roberto was very responsive, came to measure and give me a price within 1 day. His price was $200 or $500 lower than the other two. Door was ready and installed in 1 week. Excellent quality, work and installation.

I have a 1927 home with original built-ins containing a lot of glass. Periodically, the glass gets broken, so we have to either call in the old-home-repair person or take the units out for repair. This time, I brought an interior french door with two broken panes and a large cabinet door whose pane was shattered. While there is no glazing putty on original, the work involves delicate nails that hold the panes in place. While ABC wouldn't commit to attempting the nail-method, I left the doors with the shop and asked them to do the best they could. I brought the doors in for repair late Friday, they said they would order the glass on Monday, arrive on Tuesday, and I could pick up on Wed. Frankly, I was tired of arranging repair with the old-home-repair person who usually removed the doors and got them back in about two months. ABC Glass called me on Wed to let me know the units were ready. They did a fine job AND used no putty, instead removing and replacing the small wood strips with delicate nails. I am definitely going back to ABC Glass next time. The price was better than the others, quality was as good, and the schedule was tremendous!

Roberto from ABC Glass responded quickly to our request for an estimate, figured out a complicated shower enclosure (many angles) and supervised the installation. We were very pleased with the final product and timeliness of the work.

ABC picked the screens up for us and had them back the following week. They re-installed the screens and also repaired some metal window dividers that were falling off at no charge. They are very easy to work with and we had used them for shower doors about three years ago and are just as pleased with their work on our screens. We will hire them again for any kind of glass or window repair.

I originally worked with ABC Glass to install my shower doors and windows of my home remodel. When it came time to install a 100 linear foot glass windbreak in our backyard, I went to them for a quote. They were not only one of the least expensive (one quote was $30,000 to their $7,000) but having experience with them in the past, I knew they would provide solid work. A year after installation, I was having truble closing the latch in windbreak door. I called Roberto, the tech and he said that he would come and replace. The next day, the door swung open and shattered the tempered glass. ABC replaced the glass and fixed the latch for no additional charge. I tell everybody about ABC Glass and I am happy that I can now share their company with Angie's List!

It went very well. I am happy that I found them.

I needed a replacement glass table top after the original one broke. They gave me a large piece of tracing paper to trace the outline of the insert required. They were very fast and the price was very reasonable. The piece was a bit too large to fit properly. I called back to inquire as to what to do next. I was told someone will get back to me but they never did. I called several times until I was able to talk to the person that can answer my question. They had me take the glass and coffee table in to the store. They had the problem corrected next day at no extra cost.

They came out for the estimate and took all measurements. The installation went well, except they didn't consider that one window was in a bathroom and would need to be tempered. However, they were very good with communication, always calling to update me and let me know how things were going. The only thing that got them a B on quality was that they didn't really clean up the window pane afterward, but the price was much better than their competitors and they matched 60 year-old privacy glass in a bathroom, so I'm happy.

Excellent. Their quote was accurate, they were on time and their work was perfect. The even gave the door a "tune-up" by lubricating it and adjusting the sliding wheels. It works better now than it ever did.

Everything went well, except for the bow in the frame. When we got the closet mirror door home, we noticed a kink on both sides of the frame: one on the outside and one on the inside. We called to complain and were told that our door was in bad shape and the receptionist had pointed out the kink. There had not been kinks in the frame, it had only been bowed, but we did not have any proof so could do nothing.

The appointment was for 3pm. At noon, someone from their office called to say the repairman was on the way. I told her I was at work and the appointment wasn't until 3. She seemed confused.

This is the second time I have use them and they have done good work both times. I will use them again when needed.
