Description of Work: They re-keyed 4 of our locks so we only need 1 key for the whole house. The Tech was on time and gave us a heads up when he was 20 minutes out. He was able to finish the 4 locks in about 10 minutes and was on his way. Very professional and no hint of crackheadedness whatsoever. I will most definitely be using their services in the future for any home security needs I have.

 + -1 moreNot only was I impressed by their professionalism and technical knowledge, but I really appreciated that they were looking out for my best interest and not necessarily their own profits. And I was completely stunned that the technician took the time and was able to fix my squeaky front door that had been driving me crazy for years. I recommend this company very highly because they really put customer service first!
Description of Work: My front door lock and deadbolt were sticking, and the door squeaked loudly when opened. So I called them to come and replace the lock and handle, as well as the locks and handles for two other exterior doors that I wanted to have keyed the same as the front door. A couple of days before the scheduled appointment, a technician called to discuss what I wanted, and although they carry every kind of door handle and locking system imaginable, he advised me that I could save money by going to Home Depot or Lowes and buying what I wanted. The technician came and installed the locks and handles I had purchased at Lowes, and after he had keyed them all alike, he made me 15 spare keys. In addition, he fixed the front door squeak, which he said was caused by the door having been out of alignment.

 + -1 moreGreat. They were prompt and were able to fix exactly the problem as we described it. The technician showed me what was going wrong and fixed the problem. This was late in the day. Evidently he couldn't register the job as complete with his office in time, so we got a call from the office asking if we had been taken care of and assuring us that, if not, someone would come out immediately. Nice!
Description of Work: We had a stubborn lock at our business, and they swapped out the lock and added a thumb device to it so we could open it more easily. No re-keying required.

 + -1 moreOur lock and door were sticking, making it hard to turn the key and hard, sometimes almost impossible to open the door. We called the company to fix the lock and door. It is much easier to open the door now, but sometimes it still sticks a bit. Sometimes the keys work better, and sometimes not.

 + -1 moreReceived call from tenants. Said their key was stuck in deadbolt and couldn't remove it. Called A-Advanced on 1/4/09 around 4pm. Spoke with "Cody". Said he would contact tenants directly for time to come out. Service call was $49.00. Cody called tenants, set up service call for next day. Cody called me (I live in Nevada) and said tongue in the groove wheel kept turning, so key wouldn't come out or work properly. Total cost was $101.00. Service call amount of $49.00 was included in price, I think.

 + -1 moreI called on a Thursday and was scheduled for the following Monday. I was given the estimate of a trip charge and the hourly rate for repairs. Dale arrived on time on Monday and was able to determine that additional time would be required for all of the doors so we set a follow up for Friday with an estimate of 2 hours. The work was completed in the time estimated and he was very informative about preventative maintenance and alternative options.
Description of Work: The dead bolt was stuck in the bolted position on one door and the keyed locks in my sliding glass doors would not function. These doors had not been used frequently but I needed access through the doors beginning in a few weeks. Dale took the locks apart and lubricated all of them, the dead bolt was particularly challenging. He also showed me how to keep them lubricated myself and showed me were yard dirt from recent construction was causing some additional stress on the doors. He also talked to me about options for replacing our locks and doorknobs and added some screws to the front gate latch where it was jiggly.
