Description of Work: They refinished our kitchen cabinets and changed hardware. The cabinets look almost brand new except for one door which should have been sanded down more; as it looks like it still has the same minor damage prior ( damage not their fault ) to refinishing. Also, after the prep it took alot longer for them to re-install the doors and drawers...I think entire job about 8 days, without a kitchen. They should also warn people about the prep work with the chemical application applied with an air compression gun. The place reeks of the chemical and needed to be aired out for awhile before we could even use the downstairs. |Having said that; the workers were punctual; courteous ; professional & overall we are pleased with the kitchen.

Description of Work: They built wrought-iron staircases and built-ins in the living room. They made it part of the wall. They had to tear out the old staircase and walls. They cleaned up and vacuumed everyday.

 + -1 moreStair rail was fabricated by a company called 3FFF distributors. They did a decent job however the end of the hand rail did not match the drawing done by IDEL. This was a disappointment. The faux painting was excellent this was done by 3FFF(619)423-6125 Idel is the middleman. The mantel was the worst, overpriced and cheap. It did not look like the quality presented by Belkin. Price was $2,200. When he heard I was not satisfied with the mantel he said he was going to send workmen to my home and "rip it out" and he had a signed contract for his fee. He was hostile and shouting at me. Needless to say, if he did show up at my home to "rip it out", he would have been met by the San Diego police. Idel also does decorative fountians. I would avoid IDEL Design at all cost.
Description of Work: Stair rail fabricated of wrought iron and a fireplace mantel in wood. Custom wood faux painting was done to match existing wood floor.

 + 3 moreThese are the best contractors I have ever had to work in my home. The craftsmanship was excellent. The overall experience was wonderful.
Description of Work: The most beautiful home entertainment center and custom iron staircase and furniture. All solid wood beautiful mouldings and trims like I have never seen before. These pieces are the conversation of the house! WE LOVE IT.
