Great work, made the job happen even with a couple of unforeseen issues.

It is an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. So far it has been great. They have to come back and do a couple of things. I had it set too low. They normally set it at 90 degrees. It sounded awfully high to me but now I realize why. I had them put it down to 85 and it was heating 24/7. They are coming back and they are going to put it back to 90. They have been very responsive in my calling and setting up another time for them to come back and redo it. I got one for my son also. I have been very pleased. They came on time and did everything fast. Mine was so easy that they were probably in and out within 45 minutes. They were here when they said and they got it in quickly. They were very polite. They cleaned up completely after themselves and they have been responsive to my concerns. I have recommended them. I checked out the price with a friend that is an electrician and he said that if it included the installation plus the product, then I should go for it. He said the price was probably closer to the price of the product. I would absolutely use them again. I am considering having them put in some lighting.

I called Michael J. Dove to see if what I needed could be done with the deal I found on Angie's List. He was confident and had no worry that his employee could do it. I purchased the deal, and Michael accommodated me with an appointment that fit my schedule. The appointment was at 8 am and the electrician arrived at 7:30 am all ready to go. He started and did not stop until he was done (only to go get a part that I did not have). He was professional, polite, covered all of my floors and furniture not to get them dirty, and patched up the holes that were needed to run the wires & re-textured. He did excellent work!!! I am so pleased with Michael J. Dove, that if I need electrical work in the future, he is the first I will call! He deserves an A+++

The technician arrived three hours late, it appeared there was a miscommunication between him and his boss. I showed him the light that I wanted repaired and he went to Home Depot to get an install kit and bulb to replace it. He asked me what kind of replacement I wanted and I explained that I just wanted it to be able to current day light bulbs that I wasn't interested in doing a remodeling of the light fixture. I told him I was keeping the cost down because I'm not ready to do any remodeling. Unfortunately, that was a miscommunication because he installed a shop light kit. My husband saw it and explained to me why it was so different from what we had, a greenish glow and quite a bit of flickering when I turned it on. I called and said that they needed to fix it so the manager said it wouldn't be for a couple of days because they had other jobs scheduled. Three days later the same technician came and we went to Home Depot so that I could buy the appropriate kit and he could buy the pieces he needed. Once the job was finished it was a good install. I just think that the technician wasn't too familiar with lighting products.

He was on time and very polite. Cleaned up after himself and left no mess. Glad he had extra fixtures on hand. No trip to Home Depot needed. Very fast too! I ran out of work for him to do in the hour...didn't linger on the job. Awesome.

Michael was great. One of the new fans was defective and he offered to return it to Home Depot as I had other repair men coming to the home that day. I did pay him for the extra time (very little). He was on time and he did return the following week to do other electronic repairs. Very nice man that you can trust and does not charge an arm and a leg. He is my new electrician from now on. I have this fan in the family room and it was too low. He is the only person that said that he could raise by removing the shaft... Very pleased. Thanks, Karen

The job looks great... very professional, and very personable.

Job took longer than anticipated. Total job took 4 hrs. Similar job performed by another electrician took 2 hours. Identified issue with the breaker but were unable to fix. Had to hire second electrician to fix.

Josh called me to see if he could come earlier than originally scheduled and that worked out really well for me. He came and got right to work and installed the two fans efficiently. Josh was very polite and professional.

My experience with them was alright. They just did not seem to have the answers and the electrical knowledge that I needed them for. I needed them to kind of a consult for an install. They specialize more on lighting and this is not a lighting job. So, they just tend to not know the answer for what I needed.

There were good communications in setting up the appointment. Mike was very friendly and efficient. He arrived on time, and the work was done professionally and efficiently. As requested he kept all parts together for the old fans so they could be given to someone else. I highly recommend Michael J. Dove and would use him again.

It went great! They were a few minutes late--due to train and called me, which I very much appreciated. They came in and with canvas and plastic sheeting encased the entire area in the kitchen to keep the mess to a minimum. They were very polite and really hard workers. They never even stopped for lunch. They were careful to keep the door closed--as I could not find one of my cats and I was afraid he would get out. They removed the previous old light fixture and then patched the wall. I was asked where I wanted the placement of the four new lights and wow--just like that--four new holes were drilled and four new lights installed. They dry walled the entire area and not a seam shows. They ensured the lights go on from both switches. Clean up was done quickly and there was zero mess for me to clean up. After I had purchased this item on Angie's list--Mr. Dove had emailed me with a list of questions about the light fixture and informed me about the process and the time it would take. I've had several house repairs/changes done in the past--this light fixture replacement was by far--the best, quickest and professional job I've ever has done. Michael J. Dove is Awesome! He is professional, courteous, friendly and an expert in his field. During installation he came across a few problems with both the fan and the controller. He was diligent in completing the project with precision. I highly recommend him for your electrical projects.

Michael responded quickly and we were scheduled the first day we requested for service. He communicated well and in a timely fashion and the work was done professionally. We are pleased with our new fans and they work beautifully. We asked Michael to give us bids on future projects and will likely hire him again for additional work now that we know his expertise and professionalism.

Great! Responded to my purchase within 2 hours and scheduled the appointment for the next day. He arrived early (after a phone call to verify that is was ok), and proceeded to install a ceiling fan and then the sensor lite on the front porch. He was able to over come some issues with older construction and installed the fan as it should be installed. Same with porch lite. Very fast response and great service. Would recommend to everyone who wants the job done correctly and very quickly.

The craftsmanship was exceptional. They arrived on time and finished early. I would do business again.

They were a few minutes early. Spent a lot of time taping up plastic to keep all the dust in the kitchen. They were fast, silent and efficient. The finished product is beautiful and the kitchen looks fantastic. After, they gathered all their drop cloths, wiped everything down and hosed off the sawdust on the sidewalk. They were in and out in four hours exactly.

Arrived exactly on time. Immediately surveyed requested repairs and started work within 5 minutes. No delays running back to his truck, unpacking tools etc. So very professional! Diagnosed problems with old wiring and offered options to proceed. Re-labeled incorrectly labeled breaker box and then quickly replaced 11 receptacles and three ground fault receptacles. Even stopped to remove the end of a broken, rusted bulb in the dining room fixture. Results exceeded my expectations because he was so fast and so efficient. I feel so much safer in my home. Michael is by far the best home-repair professional I have ever worked with and I have built a house and remodeled a house, so I have lots of experience with all of the trades. I will hire him for everything electrical for as long as he is in business. A++

Michael is very good about communicating and getting back to you quickly and timely. Once we decided to have the job done they started right away, that was nice not to have to wait for weeks. His team of employees were very professional and friendly and did a great job keeping the house clean while they worked and cleaned up after the job. I would definitely recommend them!

His crews are amazing. They know exactly what they are doing and were a pleasure to work with. They actually completed the job in half a day, and part of that time was to properly prep our home so there would not be residue and dirt left behind. The house was spotless when the crew left. They show up when they say they are going to show up and they have fair prices. I highly recommend them to others.

I received three estimates. One from a handyman, and two from electricians. Both electricians seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. Michael really paid attention to the details and was also willing to do the finishing work and trim. His price was competitive with the other estimates. Michael arrived on time, taped off the kitchen area and began work. He removed the lights, ballast, etc. and installed 5 recessed lights. He resurfaced the area adding decorative molding. It is now ready for paint. He finished earlier than expected and cleaned up thoroughly. The lights work well and the whole area looks beautiful.. He was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Gave estimate. Fair price but we need more extensive electrical work than Michael can handle so we went with a full electrical service company.

The price was as promised, They honored a lower price that had expired because they were so busy they couldn't estimate the job before the specials final deadline. There was no high pressure sales attempt. As I had planned, I added three additional lights on my own as Mike made no attempt to increase the job in any way. The price for additional lights was not cheap, but it was reasonable. I added lights near the refrigerator and over the sink. Not really needed but nice anyway. They covered every area inside and outside the house where they worked with drop clothes. Plastic was used to contain the interior dust. The workmanship was top notch. There's no way they could have done a better job. The mitered corners are perfect. The paint and plaster coat are smooth and flawless. I love the light fixtures and so does everyone who has seen them. The work transformed an older kitchen into a much more modern one. I would use them again in a heart beat. In fact, I'm going to ask if they can put can lights in dining and living rooms. Overall an excellent experience.
