Description of Work: He removed 3 ceiling chandeliers and replaced with new ones. Professionally friendly, on time, quick to get me on his schedule. The new lights look great and no telltale signs that they aren't the original. The deal was for the installation of 2 lights, and he did the 3rd for what I thought was a very reasonable price considering all were 20 foot ceilings and the one at the top of the staircase was a little tricky. Would not hesitate to contract with him again.

Description of Work: Bought his special to install two ceiling fans. When he showed up the first time, I completely spaced on the whole thing and didn't have fans for him to install. He was very polite about it and just rescheduled for the next week. He came on time that second week and did a great job installing.

Description of Work: The electrician was on time to the minute and quickly installed the dimmers and re-routed the switches accordingly. The price was great and I can tell you that I will call this company before I call Home Depot for electrical work. | |Outstanding!

Description of Work: Took out florescent light fixtures in kitchen ceiling and replaced with recessed cans, wood trim and paint. Went very smoothly. The work was completed very cleanly and quickly.

Description of Work: Michael Dove ran a deal on Angie's List for $899 for an update to kitchen lighting including LED lights and crown molding. I had seen something similar about 10 years ago, but had trouble finding a contract who could do both the electrical work AND the crown molding/dry wall work, so when I saw the deal, I jumped on it. Michael emailed me minutes after I purchased and we set a date for the following week. He let me know time of arrival (7-8 am) how long it would take (8 hours), how to measure for the job, how to prepare for the job, and he offered to install additional lights (should I chose) for $125 each. The day of the job, I received a call at ~7:45 saying they would be about 30 min late because they were a bit at the mercy of Home Depot to cut the materials they needed. They were at my home by 8:30 as promised. They taped off the whole kitchen to minimize dust and to keep the rest of the house clean. I did decide to put in two additional lights and have them replace yet a third, so the total came to $899 + $600 = $1499. I was very pleased (and still am) with the work. The drywalling they needed to do looks very professional. They removed all the old materials, put everything in the trash can (except the ballasts), cleaned up completely, including spraying down the driveway. And, my kitchen looks fabulous! I was so pleased, I've since had them back to replace the florescent lights in 2 baths with the recessed lighting and to replace too additional lights in the hall. That job look less than 8 hours, cost $1700, was also scheduled at my convenience and went very smoothly (and neatly). I wish I could find more for them to do, but I think they are as good as they are because the specialize in the lighting/finishing. It's probably worth noting that they do not paint. The surfaces are paint-ready, and I had no problem with them not painting because I knew this wasn't something they did, but others have complained, so I thought I would add a note. I had two different crews for the two days and I would highly recommend them both!
