They are fabulous. We got the estimate one day and they came out the next day to do the work. Our neighbor had to have the same people. I had been admiring their work, so she gave me the information and I called the guy and he happened to be available the next day, so that was pretty awesome and they did a fabulous job. I would use them again in the future too.

I am sure they are a good company, but I was a little surprised that it wasn?t clear on exactly what they were installing. They did install it, but perhaps I should have made it clear to them. They said that it would be $275 for having another switch installed and everyone else was only charging $65 for the same thing. So that kind of troubled me. You have to tell them to be very specific about the types of lights that they are going to install. It should be distinguished and should be very clear. The types of lights should be listed. They have to make it very clear about the options that are available for the types of lights to be installed. That wasn?t made very clear to me and it wasn?t what I had expected. I would probably not use their services again.

I first saw his work at a friends home and was impressed with the lighting and quality of the work. I called the owner, Mike Dove to set up an appointment Came on time, very friendly and courteous, gave me a detailed estimate. Two days later two workers came at 8am, covered the kitchen working area with plastic, installed the lights, and were done by 11:30am, including cleanup time. I'm very happy with the work and very impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of all involved.

I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate and received a return call the next business day. Michael was able to come two days later. Because his morning appointments ran long he was late arriving for my appointment but called well in advance of his scheduled arrival time to let me know and to see if I would be available at the later time. He was here only about half an hour and was very thorough in explaining the process to me, determining the placement position of the new lights, and letting me know the preparations I would need to make in advance of the arrival of his crew. Those preparations were basically clearing countertops and their general work area. We accepted his bid the next morning and a crew was scheduled for the very next day. A very nice crew of three arrived on time for their appointment and the work was completed in about six hours. They worked consistently and quietly with a small radio on low volume. They took extra measures to protect flooring and cover things to protect from the dust. They also swept up after themselves. I still had a good bit of clean-up to do after they left but it was not because of a lack of diligence on their part. I had opened a sliding glass door and our wonderful afternoon breezes carried their dust all over the house! My bad. Customers are required to get rid of the old lighting fixtures, which are considered hazardous material, and provide a trash can for their use in disposing of the debris. Overall it was a good experience and if I had additional lighting conversions to be done I absolutely would hire them again.

Amazing! Michael showed up on time to give estimate and set up an appointment for the next morning. Two guys showed up on time and were done by eleven am. They were professional, friendly, clean and very competent. We couldn't be more impressed.

They were fantastic. They did a phenomenal job. I paid more than what they advertised, but I think it was between $1200 and $ 1500. They came out, gave us the estimate and during the work I changed the places of the light and they had to re-cut the hole. I realized that was not going to work good and they covered it right back up. The guys that came out were really professional and they came out did exactly what they said they were going to do and it turned out beautiful. It was amazing how much we opened up the kitchen and we could not believe it. They showed up on time and were very nice. They cleaned up and the left and it was done and they were very good.

These guys are great. We got several estimates, and they were actually the highest (but only by about $150). The thing that really impressed us was Mike had ideas and suggestions, none of which we had thought of and all of which were spot on. Everyone else listened to what we asked for and gave us a price. Mike suggested that we were doing too many lights in the recessed area, and that we should add some additional lights on a separate circuit around the perimeter of the kitchen to light areas that would be dark. After it was done it was very clear that this guy knows exactly what he is doing. They came in and did the whole job in about 5 hours (it took me longer to paint the ceiling than it did for them to do the tear-out, electrical, drywall repairs, crown moulding, and texturing)! They were very careful to seal the kitchen completely - no dust, mess, etc. I very highly recommend Mike and his crew!

Everything went like clockwork from the bidding process to the final product. It turned out better than our expectations. All the employees were kind and curteous. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. The price was very reasonable and the final product was beatiful.

Michael Dove performed the estimate, arriving exactly when we agreed he would, When the work was scheduled, the workers arrived on time, were presentable and courteous, took great care to maintain their mess--including laying down tarps, removing shoes so they did not track through the house. They were very communicative about the process, did an excellent job, and left the place cleaner than they found it. i could not ask for a better experience--thoroughly professional and competent--and did not waste my time. To me that was a real value.

Everything went very smoothly and the bathrooms were left clean.

We had an incredible experience with them. They did the entire work in just one day, in 5 hours and they brought a whole bunch of people to do the work. They did such an incredible job and also painted the kitchen. They did a perfect job, and they did it extremely quickly. The cost we paid for the work was also very good. They actually advertise to do kitchen transformation, and that is why we hired them. They put in 12 lights in the kitchen and lots of other things. The person who came was a nice guy and had been in the business for a long time. He showed us pictures of the work that they had done, and he was very honest. They only negative thing I felt is that they had these college students working and one guy left some paint outside. These were all very small things.

The company's work crew of two young professional men came out, right on time, with all their needed equipment (no back and forth, no "Oops we forgot something", none of that, they were great) They worked together as a team, really worked fast, but neat, and finish on time and when done, it looked great!. I have to tip my hat off to the owner. In these hard financial times, I can see why he is still in business and others have gone out. Thank you

Completely modernized our 22 year old kitchen. Placed moulding in space where fluorescent lamps had been. Arrived at scheduled time. Arrived promptly the following day. Completely professional. Finished job in one day. Cleaned up completely. A thoroughly rewarding experience.

A total of 48 hours elapsed from estimate to complete installation. Michael J. Dove did the estimate. He is couteous, knowledgable, and helpful. Matt and Josh did the complete job in about three hours. They protected our home with plastic and cloth throws. Both are completely respectful and courteous, along with being very professional and knowledgable. I highly recommend this company for any service that they provide. I truely enjoyed meeting these folks and watching professionals at work

Workers arrived on time, completed the project in several hours and delivered as promised.

I was given an in-home estimate within a few days of my initial call. I asked for a specific date to do the work and they agreed to this. Two workers showed up 10 minutes early and after explaining what they were going to do got right to work. They prepped the area very well and finished everything in four and one-half hours. I had to sweep the kitchen and garage floors after they left, but they left no other mess and took away all the old hardware. They were punctual, polite and proficient.

Michael came on a Tuesday (he was early) to give me an estimate. He was the second estimate I had gotten on this job. Though the painting was not included, he added the molding, finished the corners around the light box, and added two more recessed lights for a better price than my first estimate. Two days later, two guys came and completed the work in about 3 1/2 hours. They had called me the night before to change the time to earlier in the morning and they arrived about 20 minutes early. They did a great job of cleaning up and even hauled off my old lights. I love my new kitchen lights. It is bright and modern looking. Why did I wait so long to do this?

The installer and his helper arrived at 8 a.m. There was no down-time. They totally covered the work area to protect against any damage to the floor, counters, cupboards, and items in adjoining rooms, and then went straight to work. The installer worked non-stop with impressive efficiency. An incredible transformation took place in my kitchen in one day. Amazing! A neighbor had used this company, and I was impressed with the final result; but I had no idea so much could be completed so well in the timeframe involved. It is so nice to witness efficiency with no damage.

Customer service arranged for Michael Dove to come out for an estimate. He arrived on time assured me that they could improve my kitchen lighting (others had told me I needed to add another soffit). Set up an appoint for the work to be done and that was that. Nate and another installer came (I am sorry but I forgot his name, I really only spoke with Nate), arrived on time got to work, asked for my approval of the light placement and then finished. It was 2 hour from start to finish...it was a great experience. Michael is located in Mission Viejo, but works and bids jobs in San Diego area. I had his cell phone number that he left me in case I had any questions while the work was going on. I would highly recommend Michael J Dove.
