I got three bids for fencing but we haven’t decided who to use yet. The person that talked to us was professional and seemed to know what he was doing. They came out in a timely fashion and answered all our questions. We probably will use them.

I have not been able to contact them since the time I got the quote. The quote was competitive. I have called a couple of times but they haven’t got back to me. The quote amount was about $6000. It was a good price. The people that I spoke with were fine but there was just no follow through.

This was a first class experience all the way! Our wooden fence was blown down in a wind storm and we contacted Fence It Up for an estimate. Jason came out and gave us the best estimate we had gotten, and explained the materials used and the way the project would go. When we were ready, he came back and worked out the final price, which was very close to the estimate, and scheduled the job. The crew arrived on the scheduled day and they were great. The whole job took 4 days and they did a super job, even figuring out how to cover some very uneven terrain in the back yard. The job included a utility/trash surround with a gate, as well as driveway gates. When they were done, the place looked wonderful. I can't believe how much the vinyl fencing brightens up the entire property. The crew left everything clean and in order. As they were loading up the leftover supplies, we asked if we could keep the leftover fence planks, just in case. We were thinking they could be used for repairs somewhere down the road, but our son used them to build raised planting beds instead! We are very happy with our experience with Fence It Up, and would use them again in a minute!

I asked Scott to come out and bid my fence replacement. I clearly stated that I wanted the same fence put in. Same design and same height to match the portion that had not been damaged. I received a quote from Scott shortly after that. I didn't jump on it right away, so 2 months went by before I called Scott and said let's pull the trigger. After I sent in the signed contract, Scott came back and said that their rates had gone up twice in the last 2 months. Long story short, it was a bait and switch. Once that had me committed, they raised the rates 35%. I heard numerous excuses, but it boils down to either incompetence, or lack of ethics on the part of the company. I would not feel comfortable having Fence It Up work on my property at any price. Thanks to Angies List I was able to contact another company whose bid was slightly higher than Fence It Up's original bid, but substantially lower than there bait and switch bid.

They are very good. Their price was the most reasonable and the quality of material was good. They were quick, clean and professional.

After initially having not received a call back from the company, Jason the salesperson was very responsive and helpful while we planned the project. Abel and crew who came to install the fencing was very efficient, courteous and helpful.

We had received 3 bids for this project, and Fence It Up came up with a great price, a great presentation and a good seemingly quality product. We were impressed with the Sales Rep. We paid the 10% down payment and faxed the signed contract to the office a week and a half before the scheduled installation date; however within 2 days before the installation date we received a phone call from the company advising that they were cancelling our contract. They had fired our Sales Rep for writing contracts priced too low. Once I asked to speak with the Manager, we argued that we had a signed contract, but they would not negotiate or discuss any further other than stating that the cost of materials was around $900. I don't know what our actual cost would have been with them. At this point we were not comfortable working with this company or trusting anything they said. We went back to the begining and got 3 new bids. One was higher at $1,500; one was suspiciously low at $475 and the one we chose was $875 -- still lower than what Fence It Up wanted at the end. They probably would have wanted to come back out and re-bid the project.

We got several bids. Fence it up was a lot more reasonable. They were prompt with the bid, and started the job a few days after we agreed to hire them. The work looks great and they said they would make any adjustments needed with time, as we put out yards together.

Jason with Fence It Up came to my home two weeks ago to discuss the project and he was very professional in his approach. He made a number of good suggestions to the plan that I offered him. He took time to measure and draw an exact design for the fence. He drew up a contract for me to consider and he offered a loan through a bank at zero percent interest for 12 months. I took a day to think about the project and called Jason and told him that I was on board. He came to the house and we made some minor revisions. He re-wrote the contract. I signed it and I called the bank and secured the loan immediately. I wrote a check to the company for 10% and financed the remainder. He told me that the fence could be installed in one day on September 7 and it was done then. The work crew showed up about 8:00 AM and we discussed the project and they installed the fence. The work crew of three young men did the work and cleaned up completely when finished. I want to thank Jason who went above and beyond the call of duty! He told me that the installation cost included the cost of making a key to the gate that matched my house key. What he did not know was that my house key is a Schlage lock key. The locksmith said that making the Schlage key would be an added charge. Jason pd the $68 added fee for that key! I certainly thank him for that. I was so pleasantly surprised to learn that Fence It Up is a subsidiary of Universal Construction...a wonderful company headed by David Frankenburger who completely and competently remodeled my kitchen and family room in 2004! What a talented construction crew that was. I would definitely go back to Fence it Up for any future fencing needs. I am currently surrounded by iron and decorative iron that my builder had installed and I am so tired of the endless painting chores required by the iron. I look forward to having this attractive maintenance free vinyl fence for years to come.

The first time I met with them they came to my home and we talked for a long time about different things. They are very personable. He went outside to measure. He brought all the information about his company along with pictures of the work his company has done. They brought brochures, before and after pictures which were really helpful. They explained to me how their fencing was made. They use TIO2. They make their own fencing right here in San Bernadino unlike other companies who just order their fencing. They are a recycling company. They invited me for a tour of their factory to see how they make their fencing. They also explained to me how they put their gates together(inside the actual gates there is a reinforced strong piece of metal in the post). They also brought in samples of fence ralings from other companies & along with theirs showing me how much more reinforcement theirs has compared to those companies. The pieces that are reinforced are the top and bottom panels. I had also got other bids but I let them know about the other company they wanted my business so they worked with me on the pricing. They have come over 3 times now. So now I am going to be calling them within the next couple days to hire them. Because what they have shown me and their durability of their fencing. They also have a warranty on their fencing and they are guaranteed not to discolor or yellow. Their customer service so far has been exceptional and very professional. I am just very impressed on how they come into my home and speak with me and I just feel like they are family. They do vinyl, wood, metal, glass, patio covers, and they weld their gates. They custom fabricate your job.
