Two Men and A Truck

They were a little late due to a morning move but I was kept up on time they would be coming. Very nice people. Most stuff in garage to be moved so very hot. Never slowed on working and were fun to talk to. No problems!

Excellent moving company. Professional, prompt, extra care taken with furniture. The 3 men worked very hard and went that extra mile to make sure it went smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Movers were friendly, professional and timely. They surveyed the job and went to work taking appropriate care of moved items. Delivery and setup at house was also accomplished to oiur complete satisfaction.

The crew was extremely careful in wrapping furniture and appliances. They moved quickly and efficiently, communicated when they needed to take a short break and insured that everything I requested was packed and in the truck and when unloading, made sure everything was in its place before leaving. They even hooked up the washer and dryer in a very tight spot. There was no wasted time anytime during the move. The crew worked well together for an efficient move with attention to the important details.

The movers were unprofessional in that they were careless in moving the boxes that I marked FRAGILE. They were also on the older side so were slow moving and tired out easily, needing lots of rest breaks. In addition, the move cost 2x the amount I was quoted in the estimate. I will never use them again.

We are in our 70's and were stressing out about how to move a relative in her 70's to a senior apartment. Having just signed up for Angie's List, I checked the reviews for moving companies, liked what I read about Two Men and a Truck and scheduled a moving date. We were pleased and surprised at how easy they made the move. They arrived on schedule, worked quickly and even packed and did more than I had expected. Being older, we did not get as much done ourselves as we had hoped. We even scheduled a stop to pick up a sofa, which they were more than happy to do. The movers were pleasant and professional and completed all the work required. They even knew how the bedroom furniture should be placed. I couldn't see if it would all fit. The move was completed without any damage to property (including a 300 lb. TV). We are very pleased and happy with our experience with Two Men and a Truck.

They did fairly well. They were on time and efficient. Some damage was done to one piece of furniture, but overall, I would use them again.

I found this company on Angie's list, I went to their website, filled in the information about our move, sent it off, and it wasn't a minute later that I had a call from their representative, and was scheduled for a move day...all within 10 minutes. I received information about preparing for the move, offered boxes for sale. A couple of days before the move, I received a call to confirm our move, and when to expect the movers. The day of our move, 2 men arrived promptly at 9 AM, they were courteous, friendly, but above all professional! On arrival at the new house, they quickly unloaded, and asked where items needed to be set up, repositioned a few things, and were gone. It was the most painless, hassel free move I've EVER made. I was contacted a couple days after the move from the company with a survey, and gave them the same "grade" as I've marked here - excellent !

Terrible. The estimator was told prior ro coming out that we had a pool table which was a part of the move -when she came out I was told they do not move pool tables??! The estimate was at least twive the price of all the others. And the est was illegal - it was not a "Not to Exceed" est as required by CA law!! If we had used Two Men and a Truck - we would have had NO IDEA of the cost until after the move!! I do not think so!!

It went fantastic. They finished early and were very easy to work with.

I hired them to move 4 rooms of furniture to different rooms of my house - a huge job that I could not get enough volunteers to do (LOL). They are a little pricey, as they have a 3 hour minimum (even though the job only took 1.5 hours). Mike and Chris were great; very professional and careful with my furniture, and they made sure everything was the way I wanted it before they left. I contacted 3 moving companies from Angie's List for this work, and they were the only ones that called me back.

Experience with this company was great. Move was professionally done, with on time arrival, friendly service and a final duration and price that was well below the estimate. (Not necessary for an 'A' rating, but a nice surprise. ) Furniture and contents were handled carefully, and nothing banged or broken in the move. The movers kept track of which stuff came from what room at the old address so the master bedroom items were moved to the master bedroom at the new address, etc. Everything was placed where I asked and boxes were kept organized so I could actually move around. A great move - and painless, from my perspective. Only things that did not get moved were a few items that should have been in a box (table lamps, house plants) but were not. My bad on that. Exceptional service - I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck to anybody who needs to move.

Everything went very well overall. Estimated arrival time was between 9 and 9:30am, and they arrived just after 9am. All three guys were friendly and courteous. These guys are good at moving things, and they're quite fast. They were also very helpful with questions we had. For instance, we knew our china buffet had a broken center foot, from when it was first delivered from the store. We told the moving crew, and they were happy to take a look at it. Troy, the team leader, asked me to find some wood glue. When we got the furniture to the new place, they guys repaired our china buffet. That extra effort to provide excellent service can make all the difference. In addition, the guys were very personable and fun to be around, which helped reduce tension during a typically stressful process. Overall excellent. If I move again, I'm calling Two Men and A Truck.

tOverall, wonderful experience. I read reviews on Angie's list and was impressed by their consistently high ratings and great reviews. They charge by the hour and I had been burned before by another company so I was a little leery but trusted Angie's reviewers so decided to go with them. They sent me all the necessary information beforehand so I knew all along what was happening. They kept in contact until the move. The two men who came (Clayton and Hank) checked to see what had to be moved and Hank started moving right away while Clayton handled the paperwork. Then they both worked really hard protecting my furniture and moving it out. At the other end of the move, they put everything in place and asked me repeatedly if everything was okay and it there was anything else I needed.Then they finished the paperwork and were off. They not only gave me wonderful service but did it very efficiently and professionally and I ended up spending less than I thought I would. It was by far the best moving experience I have ever had. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mover. . Thanks Clayton and Hank. And thank you Angie for helping me find such a great service.

We scheduled at the last moment and "two men and a truck" were still able to get everything done. We originally scheduled for 6 guys and 2 trucks, but after 3 guys spent about 5 hours trying to pack up our kitchen, dinning room, and various pieces of art the plan was changed to 11 guys and 4 trucks. They arrived around 9 am and the house emptied out at an incredible pace. By 1 pm trucks were headed to the new address and the unloading began. The various movers we had were all professional and adapted quickly to changing orders, "carry this here, I mean there, oops I meant where is was to start with" We took advantage of the all the hands and had the movers unpack the kitchen, dining room, and office by getting rid of all the boxes and packing paper. In the end we had stacks of dishes, and books that just needed to be put on shelves. This saved us hours, and hours, and hours, of unpacking time!

This moving company did a great job, done moving and placing furniture in 5 1/2 hours! The guys were careful, clean and efficient. I would say they are the number one mover in Sacramento!

We used them twice and we would be using them again. We like that we can go and pick up boxes as they sell those necessary items and then they add that to the bill which is nice. They keep tracking up for us. They call and confirm, then give us the time when the guys would come in. The guys who came were very relaxed, friendly, joking and it didn’t feel like it was work for them. We felt like it was family that was helping us move. They just were connected personally.

This was by far the best moving experience I've ever had! I'd planned on packing my own things, but a recent surgery left me too weak to do it. I called Wednesday, and arranged for movers to come Friday morning. They arrived promptly at 9AM and began packing. When it became clear that I'd underestimated the amount of work involved, they called the office and got two more men and another truck so that the move could be completed that day. They were remarkably polite, professional, and hard working. Everything was packed well, marked clearly, and moved carefully and efficiently. They hardly took any time off to eat and their few breaks were short. When they took the breaks, they informed me when they were leaving and when they would return. They worked until 9:30 PM without slowing down or seeming tired. They even offered to stay if I wanted to try rearranging furniture. I can't imagine ever using another moving company!

They were very good. They charged by the hour instead of bringing a second truck. I would recommend them to others, but I wish I would have had them fill the truck completely so they wouldn't have needed to do an extra trip just for 1 or 2 items. They were very careful with my things.

I was very impressed with everyone I dealt with at this company, from Heather on the phone and at the house providing the estimate, to the 3 guys doing the move: Ian, Matt & David. Although the original estimate was off by about $500, and I certainly *wanted* to pay less, I felt the charges were appropriate and they were definitely worth it. The movers were prompt, took very few breaks, and even toward what turned out to be a 9+ hour day for them, were actually jogging from house to truck. The only improvement I could recommend would be to ask the movers to be a little more careful to stack boxes so that the labels can all be seen from the same direction once they're stacked in the house, and pay a little closer attention to which rooms they are labeled for. Not a big deal, but it would have made things a little easier as we unpacked. Overall, I was VERY happy with the service, thought everyone was very professional, responsive, thorough and hardworking, and would definitely use them again.

We’ve had good experiences with them. They are great at communication. You can get an estimate on line and you can make requests. They’re really good about follow-up and feedback. The men that they use are professional and they wrap the furniture really well. Nothing has ever broken or been chipped in the move. They also do follow-up to see how you feel about their service. They have good customer service and good employees they use as moving men. They’re a little pricey but they’re good.

This was the only bid I took for the job. I didn't need much moving work. 2 miles. Just heavy items. I thought they would have been better off using straps than hand trucks. I had just had our exterior painted. And found scratches on the front door, and porch steps. There was damage to my refrigerator and a handle was broken on our reclining couch. I scheduled for the 3 hour minimum and the drivers hustled to get as much moved in those 3 hours as they could. The damage was credited to my bill. I will say that I couldn't have been more impressed about how sorry the lead driver was for the damage caused. He genuinely cared. I think most in his shoes would have been defensive and dismissive. He couldn't have been more appropriate about handling the damage. I also found the ream of paperwork to review a bit overwhelming. Maybe it's an industry thing. Maybe it's a Two Men and a Truck thing. But, it seems to me I should have less homework to move my stuff than I do to invest. When I say I wouldn't use them again, I'm anticipating my next move to be more involved. I would vet more companies.

They are pretty good. My experience with them went very well. I will definitely use them in the future.

I have nothing negative to say about this company. They moved me from where I was to the place where my disabled friend had lived because I got to adopt his dog. So I had to move to a place where I could have one. Plus I am old and I have a bad shoulder so I could not do it all by myself. It worked out great. I did the packing myself. They basically took over when they were there. They shrink wrapped all the furniture to protect it. They basically had me relax and not worry about it. They kind of like, took care of it. In fact it was kind of weird because there was nothing for me to do. For me it is kind of odd because I am used to doing things. I thought I should be helping them but they dissuaded me. They were on time, they were very friendly, and everything worked the way they said it would. There were no surprises and nothing negative at all. I would recommend them to anybody. Actually I found out that they are a national organization and I have their information and when I retire in four years I plan to call them.
