Terminix - Sacramento -Termite & Pest Control

Description of Work: This was a quarterly pest prevention service per a long term contract. They treat the outside of the house and maintain a rodent control box. They would do an internal treatment but I have found it unnecessary recently.I am very satisfied with the service and the technician is a long time employee and is very familiar with my service needs. The only drawback is it is a bit expensive but I have had no pest problems since having the service.

Description of Work: Terminix's costs were comparable to other companies, however, the quality was very good. They took the time to check my whole house & not just where I thought I had problems. Insulation was added to my attic area as well as screening the open-lattice work where wasps, etc where entering. The (TAP)insulation also has pest repellent & acoustical properties. And in the future, I can rely on them to take care of any skunk, possum & raccoon problems.

Description of Work: I was very unhappy with the service. Their baiting system called termites in from next door, I felt - and then when they quasi-agreed with me, they drilled holes around the house and poured chemicals in them. I have no idea if I still have termites or if I ever did for that matter - but they were hard to get hold of, when I did get hold of them, they'd make appointments and not show up. They did agree that the "vapor barrier" they suggested and I paid for underneath the house had not been effective and they would remove it. It took me three months of trying to catch one of them to make arrangements for the plastic to be removed - and then the man who removed it left mud, dirt and gravel from the underside of my house all down the front hall,and the front walkway. I was not happy.

Description of Work: We have had contracts for quarterly service with Terminix for servreal years and in different locations. Whenever we have relocated, we have trusted them for our pest control needs.

Description of Work: Inspected under, inside, and outside the house looking for damage. He used a powerful light to inspect baseboards and corners, used a probe to poke at suspicious areas and crawled under the house to look for damage and dry rot. We have used Treminix service for the past 40 years and are very satisfied with their work and professionalism.

Description of Work: We've used Terminex for years and years (more than 10). They come every year and check for any dry rot or termite damage. They are very thorough and pleasant to deal with.

Description of Work: I don't have access to my past bills now, but the cost has always seemed high--like insurance, but it's necessary. They do a periodic inspection and maintain the poisons in the ground that keep the termites away. That's all I use them for.
