Terminix - Sacramento -Termite & Pest Control

We are on a plan with them, they come quarterly. We have a service contract for a year, but pay each time they come. It's one of those things that happen in the background. They send me an email when they are coming, they send me an email when they leave and a bill. That's the most interaction I have with them. We still have spiders, but they can't do much about those.

I was very displeased with the quality of work performed. They left a pile of construction debris beside my house, a bad of trash, nails all over the patio, I had big gaps in the trim and new siding. I contacted the terminix person i was dealing with informing him of the quality of the work and that I wanted to see the owner of the contracting company and him. During our meeting the owner was more interested in my house needing pain and wanted to argue about the house being square. I could see inside the wall the gap was that big. After 3 calls to customer service I finally received a call back. The work is complete but took almost a month. I am very displeased with how this was handle and will never do business with them again.

I am disgusted with this company. They have stood us up twice. They schedule an appointment, and then never show up. They do not call--we called them, and then they have BS excuses like, they can't get a hold of the technician or the scheduler didn't know the locations. They market the heck out of you, and when you sign on, and need service (other than the usual quarterly maintenance) they are non-existent. Their regular quarterly guy is fine. They say to call them back if the problem still exists, then they stand you up and don't give you the decency to let you know they are not showing up!

I know he came a ways (for our service), but we were in his area. I believe it was $100 for every other month. They did not manage to get rid of the wasp problem that we had. They are pretty easy to work with. Their quality was pretty good; what they did was good. I don't know about their responsiveness because we never really called them other than their normal times. Their punctuality was fine; when they said they were going to be here, they were here.

We used this company monthly for more than 20 years with great results and local contact. Terminix recently uncoupled the customer from the local branch and now take calls, adjust schedules, assign service people etc. remotely. It doesn't work. People I now talk to there (after recorded messages and waits) don't even know where my address is. I require service at the same day/time every month. That used to be no problem for them. The new system is not reliable. They have changed schedules and technicians at their whim, sometimes without notifying me. People I talk to about this are not responsive. I forced them to give me the phone umber of my branch, hoping I could get this under control, On dialing that number, it just rotates back to the remote location. That might be in the Memphis home office for all I know. Sadly, after all these years, they forced me to give up on them.

I have been using them for years. I am satisfied with them. They come quarterly.

Since they said I don't have termites and I haven't found any that's probably good. They weren't really doing anything other than an investigation and I had no reason to believe the results of the investigation were wrong.

I have been using them for years. It is a monthly contract that I pay and it is like $300 something for each of those. The service guy for the pest control is an A. I do not think they go far enough to try and get inside your house. If you are not available, you are not available. They do not make an effort to try and like coordinate with you to make that happen and that is what I would suggest to them that they do. You are paying for the services right now, but if you cannot be home because you have to work, then they cannot get in. They do not do anything to make that any easier. You can call them back. So, part of that would be the consumer taking the initiative, but I think they should take more initiative on what you are paying for.

They were professional. They did a thorough evaluation of my house and presented all the information to me well. Their prices are reasonable.

They are excellent. They deliver what they promise. The price is what I expected. I wasn't looking for a discount; I was looking for high level of service and consistency, and the results. And what I consider a comparable or a marketable price. So I am very pleased with them. They've done a great job. They are very good, quality people, very knowledgeable people. They take their time. So all in all you are dealing with a pest problem and then pest management. They are spraying primarily outside. We don't do inside spray, only because of animals. It's always been an issue with us. So they do outside perimeter work. They will visit once a quarter, and what's more important is that they also do the termite examination and the bait stations. There are about 14 of them around the house. The biggest issue for me is less the pest control, but more the pest extermination. Because bugs I don't care so much about; termites I care a lot about. What is important to understand is that it is based on a regular treatment and inspection of a termite infestation problem. They are not the most expensive. It is good value. They are very, very quick. They don't keep me waiting.

I had a horrible experience. I spent a lot of money for a whole work to be redone. I used them because for years, I've had the annual and to come and have an inspection every year. I'm selling my house and I found out that I used them again. They had an inspection but they didn't cancel the damage and I paid them to fix it. I have had a different inspector and he found out that they didn't do the work. They referred me to their local manager but what they did is just terrible. They give a 100% satisfaction warranty and the price was good and that's a good thing about them but they do an incomplete work and they're not responsive to customer complaints. They also showed up on time and when they did the work, they came here to do it.

They didn't meet the specifications of the contract. They cut through to a pipe and cut out over two feet of my copper pipe and replaced it but not properly. They told me the charge from my card didn't go through the first time, then they came back to collect payment again before I'd had a chance to check with my bank. The workers also didn't seem like they knew what they were doing at all. They were supposed to paint the siding before they put it up and they set up under a tree to paint where leaves and things could fall into the wet paint. It was awful.

They are very good, efficient, polite, and prompt. They are comparable in their pricing. We will continue using their services.

I like everything about Terminix. I think the first guy we had was more about the selling of the service than anything else, he wasn't really as much about the service itself, he just wanted to get someone on contract. I called them about it and they immediately swapped him to somebody else. The second person that started coming out was so much better. We haven't had any problems since they started doing the pest control. They have an additional termites service they can do, but we use them for pest control because we had an infestation of rats. It was horrible - there was so much damage to our house, and we were trying to do it ourselves with all kinds of stuff and nothing was working so we finally decided we had to hire a professional.

They also did some dry rot and stucco repair in which I think they over charged me, but this was part of a subcontract by Terminix to somebody else. The termite drilling and all was cordial and he was here when he said he would be here and that was all good. The little bit of dry rot wood they replaced and the little bit of stucco around the base of my house where he said it was 30 ft was the whole problem because it was 30 linear feet and where the stucco had come away from the house was not that big of an operation. I think they charged me something like $1,600 and if I went to a store and bought the material myself and did it myself, if I was capable, it probably would've cost me a couple of hundred dollars. They replaced some fascia boards on the side of my house which were 2 x 6 and I really feel if I bought those myself and young enough I don't think they would've cost me much more than a couple of hundred dollars either. I understand the price for the termites because if I would've had the house tented it would've cost me an awful lot more money. Their response was excellent, but I think I'll make more calls to independent people to have them come out and look at it.

From the beginning, all persons involved including the inspector and the contractor, which he provided, were very communicative and prompt in returning calls and even originating calls whenever they had any question. Everyone from the inspector the the contractor and even his employees work punctual and helpful. I was in the property management business years ago and I know from experience this was as smooth as it possibly could have gone.

Terrible. Their traps were ineffectyive. They did not solve the problem we paid them to solve.

They're not an every two month agenda, they're an every three months. They came out and sprayed, and I haven't had an ant since. They really did a good job, they were good in their pricing as well.

The same guy has come out for years, so he knows our house well. I live in a wooden house and I have a detached garage, and they always note that. He crawls around under the house and through the house, and he is very thorough. Once they come out for the initial spraying, they will come out once a year to inspect and check on any problems that they might need to fix. All of the people in the office are very friendly as well, and they are very willing to work with you. They also are very flexible with their scheduling.

I have an annual contract with them.

They come every three months. They no longer come in the house. They did that years ago. They just come in the house and spray inside. It is free of spiders and critters. The termite inspection is kind of a free service. They never charged me for that. They warn me about any areas that I have to clean out if I get piled up. They spotted some roof rot a couple of years ago which I had fixed. Their service is very prompt. I had regular service that I am completely satisfied with. I am basically bug free and I think their price is fair.

When you call them there is no more than a day wait. The technician that comes out to perform the service is clean, professional and neat.

They spray outside and under the eaves and such. They have been doing the job and I have not had any problems with pests.

Very poorly - appointment was made and confirmed. Left work early to meet them and they never arrived (or called)!

We have a service agreement with them. We have used their services for the past ten years. We have had some extra problems like wasp nest. They were very good. They come every two months. We got them initially because of ants. They come to the door when they arrive to let you know they are here. After they do a treatment if you have another issue you call them, and tell them you have a problem they come right over. There is no charge for that. They keep bugging you annually to do a free termite check. We have had that done. They do a very thorough check. I wish they would just lay off. We do not have termites. That is my only complaint. My overall experience with them has been great.
