Terminix - Sacramento -Termite & Pest Control

Description of Work: I have regular quarterly service from them for insect and past control. I have had this service for a long time and have been very satisfied. It is a bit pricey but I have had no interior problems and exterior problems are quickly addressed. I have also had termite eradication service from them but that was several years ago. They are reliable,responsive,careful and thorough.

Description of Work: When you call Terminx all the calls go to their company back east and you cannot speak to the local company to explain what you're current problem is so the communication is not that great, or getting call backs from the local people. | |We have Terminix insurance so when they came in July to treat a new infestation, the young man was not trained to know the difference, it appears, of the different types of termites. The treatment didn't work and when they sent out another person, he told us we had wood boring termites and that our Terminix insurance doesn't pay for wood boring termites and the treatment would be around $4000.00.

Description of Work: They come on a regular basis and have been doing it for several years. When I have a question they respond immediately. Their technician who sprays theperimeter of the house is very knowledgeable about what he's doing and diagnoses of problems.

Description of Work: I have had this service for several years and have never had a pest problem. They spray every 3 months. On the few occasions I have discovered mice or rats, Terminix took care of the problem.

Description of Work: Depends on what tech shows up |Daniel very good however, had to fight to get him. | |Before that they sent rude young |Man TAYLOR whom refused to spray for carpenter Bees as he said, I did not have the problem as 3 other Professionals confirmed the problem !!!!! |Taylor only had 3 mos on job and argued with me about what carpenter bees did and said he did not agree with a 20 yr Veteran that I had them! He refused to ck attic! Per contract ! Said I'd have to hear a rodent first !

Description of Work: They put in a perimeter of termite traps and treatments. They also addressed the nest and immediate surrounding areas. The Terminix salesmen was very responsive and answered all my questions honestly. Price, from what I researched, was a bit higher than the competitors but the responsiveness and guarantee was what made me choose them. I have no had conclusion on this matter yet as it has been too short of a time frame. But I estimate that they will stand by their guarantee.

Description of Work: I use Terminix. They come out quarterly and if I need them more often than that, they will come out. They were here about two weeks ago.

Description of Work: I live in the Curtis Park area and I haven't had any real issues with pests in the last few years. Recently, ants have made their way into our kitchen. I called a few places, and Terminix was the last place I called. They asked me a few questions about the pests in my home, and explained that I "qualified" for a fancy protection plan at just $758 per month (4 visits per year). I said thank you, but I will continue looking... 9 minutes later (honestly), I was told that I also qualified for the basic plan at $419 per year. Anyway, the hard sell was a little too much for me. When I tried to get off the phone, the service rep was fairly rude. As a note, it seems that all pest places use this same tactic and require annual contracts.
