This was a great group of guys, many young and strong. They were all very nice and very helpful throughout the process. They had to dismantle our very heavy bed in the master and reconstruct it at the new place. They were just great. They were like having family move you. Never a complaint and always working toward an end. The handled everything like it was there onwn. Ray came out the week before and estimated everything prior to the actual move. His estimate was the worst possible but assured me that it would take much lest time than he estimated. he was right, it was only twothirds of the time estimated, so the cost was not too bad. Well worth it in the end.

I can't speak highly enough about the professionalism and the quality work provided by Sierra Valley Moving. I must admit I was very hesitant hiring a mover, but was so pleased with the outcome. We had a team of 4 men, who worked extremely hard, and went above and beyond to make the process easy. There was clear communication, and all expectations were met or exceeded. I would highly recommend this company.

tion.Six workers arrived at the scheduled time and date to pack the home and finished in about 6 hours. While they had scheduled to come back the next day to load they suggested we load the same day which saved us some funds. They used shrink wrap for the furniture and all arrived at destination (storage unit) in great condition. Larry the other co-owner with Ray drove the truck to Colorado and arrived at the appointed hour. A good move all around! Would highly recommend them.

Sierra Valley provided me with the best moving experience I could ever have hoped for. From the initial contact with the office to the movers putting the last piece of furniture in place, everybody involved was extremely professional, efficient and respectful of the work that was being done. They paid attention to detail which I appreciate. The movers, Phil and Randy, arrived at the scheduled time on the dot and worked quickly and neatly, wrapping each piece of furniture and loading them securely onto the truck. They were just as efficient unloading and getting all the furniture in place. And to top it off, they accepted some items of furniture that I had been wanting to donate. Apparently, Sierra Valley helps support several local organizations that assist certain groups who can use these items. I was very impressed by my experience with this company and have told family and friends about them. Basically, they took a lot of the anticipated stress out of moving day for me which I had been dreading. To sum it up, they were excellent!

He just quoted higher than the company I went with. They are going to give as a discount. They were professional. I liked their customer assistance while they were there.

It was a small move with two destinations for which they charged by the hour. They were able to schedule me very quickly, were prompt, fast and helpful. I don't think the move could have been done more quickly. The price was also very competitive. I would use them again recommend them.

The price was a little over from what I expected but they delivered on top of a professional manner so I was ok with it. The movers were very courteous and very dedicated to work. They were very detailed in terms with their remarks. They called me up immediately. They were outstanding.

As I pulled up to park yesterday at CSUS I noticed 2 moving trucks taking up four handicapped spots nearest to the enrollment and administration building. This frustrated me but what was to come next did so even more. Walking into the building the hallways were almost completely blocked off making it pretty much impossible for a wheelchair to get through. (thankfully I am not in a wheel chair, but the previous two experiences would make for a rough start to a day for a person in a wheelchair) Within 30 minutes of sending an email to the owner Ray (whom was on campus), he called me and the first thing he said was that the two trucks were not where near a loading zone I have a picture I will post that shows otherwise (you would think that the owner of a moving company could Google and see "Yellow zones are for active freight loading and unloading only by commercial vehicles."), and he thought the campus was closed. Closed or not that does not ever give you a right to park in handicapped parking. Also being that the next semester starts in less than a week and most other handicapped spots were taken I did not understand his statement, to give him the benefit of the doubt I waited around for the rest of my paid parking voucher (30 minutes) to see if any trucks were moved, none were moved out of handicapped parking and one more was moved in taking up a total of six handicapped spots.

Best move we've ever had. These guys are total pros. The whole process was nearly flawless. Not one item was broken! All the moving guys were really nice and obviously took pride in what they were doing.

I used to move often with my previous career and never encountered a moving company that was as responsive, professional and efficient. The guys were great and knew what they were doing. I kept adding things and they just rolled with the punches throughout the move. Jeremiah was outstanding, along with Leroy. They did a great job and I would recommend these guys any time. The boss called afterwards to make sure that everything went smoothly. I would recommend these guys for a move of any type or size. This is a well run company!

Sierra Valley is an awesome moving company with an incredibly professional, timely, creative team ethic. Four men moved awkward, heavy equipment and boxes of glass into a tight space in a seemingly effortless manner. Incredible teamwork from the estimator all the way through this move. All employees of Sierra Valley Moving were punctual and professional. They packed a 4 bedroom 2 bath house in a day and a half and moved us into our new home in less than a day. They were very careful and were very accommodating about where to place furniture. Overall they did a very good job and we would use them again.

Excellent. This was my second time using them. They were on time, brought materials to protect our floors and thought ahead letting us know the best way to do the unpacking and placement. They also re-assembled beds etc. They worked extremely fast but were very careful with fragile materials - unusual since it they were paid by the hour. The team was led by a guy named Jeremiah - if you can ask for him he seemed to be the best mover I had out of many moves. They finished about one hour less than budgeted and were very affordable. They came in a full sized moving truck of their own with complete equipment for every circumstance. I was pleasantly surprised.

Wow...on time, professional, polite and hard working. Everything moved without damage. Would definitely use this service again. Worth every penny.

We have moved several times all over the country using big name movers and were truly impressed by Sierra Valley Moving. In fact, they were the best by a significantly wide margin. They were exceptional in every way. We were lucky to work with movers Meki,Manny and Perry. They were professional, friendly and trustworthy. They made everything easy for us. Without hesitation, I give this company my highest recommendation and would utilize them again in a heartbeat.

The 2 movers were on time. They were very patient as I told them what had to be moved and where. When they got to the apt, they were very careful with all of the furniture. Nothing was scratched or damaged in the process. I will probably use this company when we move the house furniture in the next year. Great job.When I first contacted Ray, I told him I had a small move for his company. He was eager to come and give me an estimate. He came over. I told him there were a few pieces of furniture to be moved to a different location. There were several pieces that had to be moved downstairs. I was afraid the size of the job would be a negative, but he assured me that wouldn't be a problem. It did take an extra day to get the estimate. No big deal. Ray followed up with a phone call closer to the service day.

On very short notice, the dispatcher was able to fit me in to their schedule. He was very professional and explained the fees, services, number of movers, size of truck and asked about special needs for the move and packing. He was knowledgeable and very helpful in answering my questions, and called back to confirm everything was reserved. The team of movers arrived on time and were very friendly. We did a walkthrough of what was and was not being moved, discussed priorities and time constraints, and how to address the hoarding piles that we had to work around. I had some of my friends help pack and move the fragile items and odd-shaped items, so the movers could focus on the big stuff. The movers were well equippped with boxes and tools and carefully wrapped the furniture and easily damaged items. When we finished packing an area, we did a walkthrough to declare the room done and make sure nothing had been missed. We also did periodic time checks to make sure we met our time deadlines and to make sure things were going as expected. They were quick and great to work with. We had 2 stops - one to a storage unit and one to the new residence. They were efficient and made sure everything went where it needed to go. We did a final walkthrough at each location to make sure all the furniture went where it was supposed to and that nothing had been damaged. They were completely professional, very helpful and truly concerned about doing a good job and meeting my expectations. I would definitely use them again.

I've never had an moving experience that was so pleasant. I've used movers before, with mostly positive results. But there was always some part of me that felt like I needed to 'keep an eye on them.' These guys were not like that. From the initial contact to the moment they drove away, total professionalism! Courteous, punctual and efficient! I cannot heap enough praise onto Sierra Valley. Best of all, they did it perfectly and came in under estimate!

Overall experience was excellent. Dispatcher was very helpful and courteous. Workers were professional and extremely careful to protect floors and walls when moving items into the house. I would definetly recommend them and use again in the future.

Sierra Valley recently moved us from Sacramento to Los Angeles. Every single aspect of dealing with Ray and the Sierra Valley team, from the initial estimate to signing the final paperwork in LA was painless. Ray showed up for the initial estimate. HIs moving crew in Sacramento have been together for a decade and they work extremely well and smoothly as a team. This made the loading process go twice as fast as our previous move. These movers were extremely careful with all of our possessions. Their rate was very competitive, and their level of service made them a bargain to us. Overall, a superb experience. Deserves an A+

Extremely well. Ray came out to provide an estimate within a day or two of my asking for one. He arranged for dates that accommodated our schedule even though I had given him a tight time frame to work with. The crew was polite, hardworking and willing to go the extra mile. They worked hard and finished under the estimate. They only damaged one item in the move -- our china hutch. They scratched the base and put a hole in the plywood back of the upper unit. Sierra Movers had Furniture Medic come out to fix the scratch, and they did a great job fixing it. The plywood back repair was complicated but Justin made sure that my china hutch looked as good as it did before the damage. I highly recommend Sierra Valley Moving and will use them again next time we move.

Everything went rather well. Ray came out and gave me an estimate and scheduled an appointment around my schedule. The two trucks and 6 man crew showed up as scheduled and loaded everything without incident. They delivered to the new address and unpacked everything and set up the designated pieces. Afterward, the amount of time was quite lower than originally estimated so the price was adjusted accordingly.
