Description of Work: They refaced our kitchen cabinets 23 years ago, and we hired them to do that again. They also added Corian counertops in the kitchen and bath, with integrated sinks -- really nice. Excellent craftsmanship.

Description of Work: They came highly recommended and have some very nice employees and most of the work that was done looks very nice. Our kitchen Work ran 3 weeks over, which I know can happen, However in the end not all work was completed. |We had planned to do 2 more projects (bathrooms) with them but after stating they would come and complete the 2 items in the kitchen, they stopped responding to calls and emails. They also State even in writing No subcontractor and used 2 on our job, which was the work we were unhappy with. I am very sad that I am now having to wait to start my bathrooms as I look for a new contractor. I am frustrated I had recommended them to co-workers.

Description of Work: I have heard really good things about kitchen mart. I have not yet used them my self but would visit their showroom to get information about a quote. I did have a friend use them in the past, she stated that the initial woman she worked with was rude but everyone else she spoke to was nice and helpful.

Description of Work: Replaced kitchen counters and added an island counter. Installed marble backsplash. After installation, the kitchen counter cracked, no reason that we could think of. They immediately removed the counter (without damaging the new backsplash, put in new decking, and went on overtime to make a replacement. No extra charge, fast action. The measure of a company is not when things go well, but how well they respond when things go bad. This was a class A response to a nasty problem. Top, professional work from demo to final hookup. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: At first everything looked good, but now a year later most of the drawers don't fully close, they're always sticking out a 1/2" or so. Seems like the hardware is cheap and doesn't seem to be holding up to daily use. |The carpenter used some wood to prop open the door going from the kitchen to the garage for easy access, but it looks like the door was closed with the wood in place and cracked the door. We didnt notice this for a few weeks after the door hinges began to come loose.

Description of Work: I have hired this company 5-6 years ago to add a bath tub and upgrade our 3rd bathroom. This year I wanted their help with our rental property with a kitchen. We hired a company of their recommendation to fix up rental kitchen sink. We decided to perform major upgrade when we moved in. So I got a free advice this time. Oh yes I will hire them to do kitchen remodeling in the near future.

Description of Work: I'm really not sure of the date that Kitchen Mart showed up to give us a bid on remodeling our kitchen. But, this had to be shared.KM came to our house and we explained what we were wanting to do. The representative wanted MORE. She started to include things that we did not ask her to do (i.e. she thought we need to baseboards and started measuring for them, without asking us). She did the same thing with lighting fixtures and flooring in other rooms. We ONLY asked them for a bid on creating a new kitchen.The rep was to meet with us in a week, but she couldn't make it (at the last minute) and after numerous attempts to make an appointment the rep decided to email the information to us. The whole bid was less than a third of a page and generally included everything we asked for (without specifics,such as dimensions) and also included what she wanted (again, without specifics). AND, it included ONE number; the TOTAL COST. Again, no detail. I asked her to break down the bid and after two weeks of waiting we got another email that divided the TOTAL COST into thirds and labeling each cost with the two of three specific things that might get done for that amount. We were not impressed with the representative and thought that she/they were only out to fleece us. The total bid she give us was over $20,000 and we got everything done for under $12,000 by using multiple companies to complete our requirements. Needless to say we were very DISpleased with Kitchen Mart.
