He worked fast and recommended replacing the rollers. He adjusted the garage door before leaving, so I no longer have to duck to enter my garage.

 + -1 moreOur garage door broke the other day when my husband accidentally closed it on a can of spray paint. The cable broke and the door was crooked. We tried to fix it, but soon realized we didn't have the knowledge or tools necessary. I called Sac's Garage Door Repair as they were the first company listed on Yelp, open on Sundays, and advertising a deal. They asked what day we wanted someone to come out and I asked if it was possible for someone to come out same day. Moe came within an hour and a half of my call. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently. It only took him about 10-15 minutes to fix our garage door and it's as good as new! Thank you!!!

Moe called and arrived at my house withing 30 mins and checked out my entire system. He replaced both my springs and did an amazing job! He was beyond professional and completed the job without leaving a mess. Not only is Sac's Garage Door Repair fast and friendly, they are fair priced and do great work! I highly recommend using them!

 + -1 moreOk so the garage door broke again which I was telling him when he showed up and we had to call another company who informed us that the capacitor was gone and it needs to be replaced. One would imagine that if you are service provider and a professional and a customer is explaining an issue to you then you would at least check and see. However, if your only intent is to collect the voucher then of course you will bypass everything. I seriously want Angie's List / Service Provider to refund my voucher money. In hindsight I think this is what happens with all these deals that Angie's List comes out with: They pay a very small proportion of the voucher money to the service provider and the service providers are not inclined to give the level of service that is promised. Hence he wanted to spend minimal time and just collect his showing up cost from me. All in all not a good experience, I will be weary of getting anymore deals from Angie's list now.
Description of Work: He stopped by, looked at the garage door said it was absolutely perfect and there was nothing for him to do. As per him either the motor is going to fail or the spring may break up someday. Other than that it needs nothing everything is well oiled and tuned up. So effectively he had to do nothing so I am wondering why I had to pay him $49. All he wanted in the brief 10 minutes interaction was the voucher and did not forget to paste his sticker and remove the earlier sticker from the garage company. I have never done a garage door tuneup myself and our door is more than 10 years old. I told him a few days ago our door was not opening and the motor was making a humming sound. It seems like the part that moves along the chain got dislocated. So do you think you need to lubricate the chain at least. He said you do not need to worry just call us if it breaks again. He further informed that, putting grease on the chain can cause more problems so you need to get a spray from lowe's or home depot to lubricate them. If I have to do that why did I pay 49$ to call you and get a tune up. In my opinion I should be refunded my $49 by angies list for not needing a tuneup at all as per the service provider.

 + -1 moreI purchased a $49 Garage Door Tune-Up through Angie's List. The deal indicated that there would be a 21 point inspection. When the technician came out to my home, he did a "visual" inspection of my garage door and then indicated that it did not need any work. Angie's List refunded my money since the provider did not do any work and I posted a review. When the owner of Sac's Garage Door saw the review he immediately contacted me and wanted to make it right. I was very impressed and appreciative that the owner thinks enough of their customers to resolve my issues. I contacted Angie's List and they are going to look into the way this review was written.

Description of Work: Came to do a $49 garage door tune-up as advertised, which he did. Also pointed out some broken parts and recommended that the old metal rollers be replaced with nylon rollers, and we accepted all of his recommendations. It was readily apparent that these parts were in need of replacement!
