There were no problems and everything went good. They showed up on time, did the work and the guy was nice. They were competitive. I would use them again.

It started well and continued that way. When making my initial calls I always got an answer or quick call back from Eudy, the owner/manager offered good advice over the phone when I was in decision mode, it was price competitive, and they were available in my time frame. The installer (nice guy but I can't recall his name) arrived during the two hour window Eudy committed to, and also finished within the estimated time period. I asked the installer how he liked working for the company. He said he loved it and had a great boss (that's what we want to hear from our service providers!). The installer worked hard (it was hot that day), cleaned up all the debris from the old door, answered many of my questions about maintenance, and was very professional. An excellent experience overall and I would definitely recommend Eudy on anyone's short list.

When I placed a call to Eudy Door Co., the person answering the call was able to determine what model of opener I had, so when the service technician arrived he had the correct parts to fix my garage door which wouldn't open. The technician was very knowledgeable and polite. He had my garage door working in 30 minutes.The technician also lubed the rollers and made sure everything was in good working order. Fast and efficient.

I called for someone to come over and look at the problem with the garage door opener. The person I spoke to was courteous and told me that someone would call in the afternoon. There was a phone call to let me know that Robert would arrive in 30 minutes. He arrived on time and explained the problem to me before he started the job. After he replaced the malfunctioning mechanism, he lubricated all the moving parts on the door and re-aligned the side rails that were squeaking whenever the door opened or closed. I have used this company before and the quality of service has not changed. They are excellent.

The service provider was very prompt, worked carefully and even swept the whole garage when he was - the garage door now works very well. I only had to wait one day to get service, the owner was very pleasant on the phone, and the cost was exactly what I had been quoted.

I contacted Eudy Door Company, by phone, the morning of 6/12/2013 and indicated I wanted a broken double garage door torsion spring replaced. they said a technician was in Elk Grove that morning and would be able to check the door and give me an estimate before noon. I approved. Megan, arrived around 11:00 A. M. and checked everything out. She said two options were available: 1. Replacing the broken single torsion spring configuration would be $130. 2. Replacing the single spring with two high cycle torsion springs would be $170. 3. Both options would include checking the lift motor and lubing all of the door hinges/rollers. She said the two spring option would provide up to 20,000 - 25,000 garage door cycles which is significantly greater than the expected life of a single spring. Also, if a spring breaks I would still be able to get the door open with some muscle. When the single spring broke the door could not be opened using the lift motor combined with muscle power. Fortunately our car was not in the garage at that time. I selected the two torsion spring option and the job was completed by noon.

This is the second time I've used Eudy and second time they were great. No drama, very quick, very professional. My door was repaired while I was at work. Great service and great communication. They don't try to upsell you. (I put NA for cost because I don't know how much it should cost to replace springs, but my impression from looking at similar posts on AL is that their price was totally reasonable). I recently gave their number to a co-worker with similar problem.

The person (can't remember his name) arrived promptly and got right to to work. He was pleasant and explained what he was going to do. Once the job was done, he stated that he found one of my rollers on the door was broken and replaced it at no charge. I am very happy with my new Garage Door opener (especially since my old one would open at all hours of the night by itself. I would definitely use this company again.

The Eudy service tech was on time and efficient. He replaced the garage door wheels and explained how to open the door when the power is out, among other things. The door was still somewhat noisy when he finished, but that was my misunderstanding about how it works. I feel confident that I got very good service for the price. I would use them again.

My garage door spring broke with my car inside. I had to empty the garage prior to having the garage door replaced. They worked with me to have the door taken off one afternoon after work so I could clean out garage. The worker helped me move two big structures, which he did not need to do. Very sweet. Door was on the next day. Beautiful. QUIET! I upgraded to an insulated door. The estimator suggested a best buy choice rather than buying the most expensive option. Best investment I made. Great group. They even came back to give me some repair paint . Do ask for senior discount.

I was extremely pleased with every aspect of the service. A family member visited the showroom and Mr. Eudy fully explained different options and recommendations for our needs. The service techs arrived on time. Both the technician who took the measurements and the installation technician, Robert, were professional, friendly, efficient and were quite knowledgeable. I am equally pleased with the products - I wasn't aware of the electronic technology now available in garage door openers! The keypad entry is great and will come in very handy for service persons needing access to the backyard. One other point I'd like to make: I appreciate the fact that Eudy Door has a showroom.. The showroom allowed us to gather information, including speaking directly with Mr. Eudy, without the pressure of a salesman sitting in our living room.

I contacted Eudy Door Co. because my garage door started to reverse when it closed in addition to loud metal-on-metal screeching. The company was having an $89.00 maintenance special and I qualified for the $15.00 Angie's List coupon. Jeremy arrived promptly and worked quickly considering all that was performed. In addition to the maintenance duties on the screw-drive, rollers, etc., he spent considerable time on re-securing the shaft to the header. He really enjoys working on the older doors and considers it a challenge to keep them working. When the job was completed, the door performed almost like new and relatively quiet too! Eudy Door Co is a super company and they will definitely be my "go-to" company for all future issues with my aging garage door.

We have used Eudy Door at least twice in the past and were very satisfied, so we called them again, using their Angie's List $15 coupon. As always, they were very friendly and professional on the phone. They knew right away what the problem probably was, and gave us an immediate estimate. When I mentioned the Angie's List coupon, their reaction was "Wonderful. We're always happy to work with Angie's List members." They estimated their arrival time between 2pm and 4pm, same day, then called back later to ask if it was O.K. for them to come by a little earlier because their workman had finished his previous call sooner than expected. We said sure, no problem, and I think this was very professional of them, too. Rather than assume "earlier is better," they checked with the customer first. Jeremy arrived just before 2pm and completed the work in short order. When I told them we had used Eudy Door before and were impressed with their honesty and good work, Jeremy said "I thought so - I think that sticker of ours that you have under the door control on the wall is older than Angie's List!" Probably true. It's an old silver one that they gave us a long time ago, the first time we did business with them. This was the second call within a 3 month period and preventive maintenance was performed.

She got right to work and was done quickly. Got the old springs off and the new ones set in and put in the new cable.

The service was very good. They were here on time and everything has worked fine since.

Our previous garage door opener was exhibiting some difficulties and because of its age we decided to replace it with a new unit... We elected to go with the Belt Drive unit based on the recommendation of Mr. Michael Eudy... The bottom line is that we now have a quiet and reliable garage door opener that we are very pleased with... As a sidenote, the remotes that came with the unit provide us the ability to start the door opening process at much further distances than what was possible with the previous unit, which basically required us to be in the driveway to open the door... And, the wireless keyless entry unit has already been a very handy feature, eliminating the need to walk around to a house door to obtain access to the door opener switch located in the interior of the garage...

The technician was very professional, knowledgable, and thorough. He gave extra tips on future issues that could come about. I would use their services in the future.

Crew arrived on time and promptly replaced wheels as per agreement.

Called and talked to Michael Eudy. Told him what I needed, he explained the process, set up an appoinment and the representative showed up on time and completed the work as discussed. Michael Eudy, professional and to the point. A pleasure to do business with and will use the company again when necessary. Jeremy who did the work did everything needed, pointed out where one door was not braced correctly, braced the door and all was done within an hour. Jeremy represents the company well, fast and efficient worker and respectful of the customer.

Good and quick. Also checked out entire door, lubricated and tightened loose rollers and greatly reduced vibration and noise of operation.

I called for service, and the man whom I spoke with was very polite and helpful and was able to schedule us for the same day. He called back a bit later and was able to give us an even earlier appointment. The garage door technician arrived on time and she was very polite and knowledgeable. My only negative was that the cost of labor was more than I was initially quoted due to the degree of misalignment of the door. I would certainly use Eudy Door again.
