Description of Work: We used this company several years ago for our garage door and received excellent service. That's why we called them again to replace the garage door and opener for our rental. They were prompt in responding to us, going out to see what needed to get done and getting the work done within a few days. He's honest and gave us our options as to what we could do. Very professional and courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great service.

Description of Work: They were called out to inspect our garage door which was making a grinding noise. We discussed whether the system just needed grease or whether some repair needed to be made. After inspection, the Tech said he could find nothing basically wrong with the system but that he did see shaved metal from the ball bearings. He said it was not urgent to replace the unit at this time. After discussing the length of time the unit had been in our house, we decided to go ahead and replace the unit. The new unit works great and was installed with no fuss. The company called me back within an hour of first contacting them. The Tech was on time and worked dilligently. The experience was a pleasant one.

Description of Work: The door was making a lot of noise. The repairman took a lot of time to lube the door and adjust the door. When I discovered there was a gap at the bottom of the door the next day, he returned promptly to fix the problem.

After being told many times that my current opener didn't have that feature they could easily have sold me a brand new opener. Description of Work: Our garage door got stuck around 2:00 PM. I called Eudy's about 2:30. They said someone could come between 4:30 and 6:30. I said, 'Tomorrow?'.. They said, 'No, today.' The technician, Jazz, arrived at 6:29. He worked, largely by flashlight for about 40 minutes, and fixed everything. That entailed straightening one of the tracks, adjusting the light beam, lubricating everything. He obviously was a gifted mechanic. We could not be more pleased!

Description of Work: I accepted an Angie's List "Big Deal" on garage door reconditioning. The very next morning I received an e-mail from Michael asking that I contact him to schedule an appoinrment. I telephoned Eudy and Michael answerred. We set an appointment for a couple days ahead. On the morning of the appointmen t Michael called to tell me that Jeremy is on his way and would be here within about 20 minutes. Jeremy arrived on time and quizzed me as to any problems with my door. I explained the issues: the chain was loose and hanging; the door was noisy upon opening and closing; and, during certain times of the day for no apparent reason and with no apparent obstruction , when I attempt to close the door the door would close to within about three feet and open again.. Jeremy diagnosed the door closing problem to be a worn gear and sprocket assembly with a "parts" cost of $65. and labor to be provided as part of the Big Deal. The other issues were corrected and resolved with the replacement of all rollers and the lubrication of springs, tracks, etc. I also requested a key pad remote which he had with him, cost $50. All in all, I was 100% satisfied with Eudy, with Michael and Jeremy and happy to have joined Angie's List.

Description of Work: I have a metal door who wouldn't open all the way. His technician was prompt. He repaired it, and paid for the labor (no material was used). But he said he can't warranty the work because it's an old door.

Description of Work: The garage door was lubricated -- unfortunately, this was a call for service that turned-out to be 'user-error'. The manual lock on the garage door was partially locked, so the door would only move halfway up. I would like to say however, that two of my coworkers had recommended the company. I found the technician to be knowledgeable and courteous, he also showed-up within the given time-frame. I would definitely call them for service again (once I established for certainty that it wasn't something I could fix!).
