We have taken our cars to Autocraft for many years. We appreciate their honesty. When we get an estimate from them, we're sure that the work is needed. They do great work at a reasonable price and they stand behind their work.

Our back entry door leading into the kitchen started to ooze some gray sticky stuff from around its tempered glass (looked like plumber's putty) over the past couple of years and it was generally looking pretty shabby. I wasn't sure whether to replace the entire door or just the glass (the door is 2/3 glass, 1/3 wood & metal). I called Dick's Rancho Glass and they said they'd be happy to take a look at emailed pictures to see if they could help. The guy I spoke with indicated that they could replace the glass and gave me a quote based on what he guessed would be the approximate size (and his guess was quite accurate); he also said he could recommend a door guy if I wanted to go that way. I called a door guy from Angie's List and the quote for a replacement was just above $1000 (including frame), but he wouldn't guarantee that the oozing wouldn't recur due to the east-facing door (lots of sun). I decided to just go with the glass replacement. The glass guy made exact measurements, Dick's called me 3 days later that the glass was ready, then I scheduled the repair. It took the guy about two hours to cut out the old glass and retainers, install the new glass and retainers, then re-caulk with a (hopefully non-oozing) silicone. They guarantee the double-paned tempered glass from defects / fogging for 10 years. Overall, the project cost me about 1/3 of what a door replacement would cost and I really appreciated being able to email some pictures of the problem and the guy being able to talk with me over the phone while looking at the pictures. The finished job looks great - the installer did a very professional job and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

They removed the frames around the door and replaced patio door. They patched the adjusted frames, since the new door was a bit smaller. The installers were very professional and friendly. They cleaned up work area and did a nice job. I would recommend them and will use them again if needed.

As above, I was provided with information and specific suggestions, and was told what portions they could do for me.

The provider was prompt and professional. It just seemed kinda pricey but I didnt get any other bids so I dont know for sure.

I originally asked Dick's Rancho Glass to provide an estimate for replacing all the windows in the house. I was most impressed when the installer (Casey) told me honestly that our current windows are perfectly fine, and if we're concerned about heat loss in the house, we should have an energy efficiency survey conducted. I always appreciate honesty in a contractor, and any contractor that tells you not to do an expensive job (that will benefit them) is, by my definition, scrupulously honest. I plan to use Dick's Rancho Glass to replace the sunscreens on my house, and possibly to replace one window.

Phoned to ask if bathroom wall mirror could be cut to specifications. Person on phone very courteous, provided estimate. I went to the Rancho Cordova office, ordered and paid for mirror. Was told it would be ready the next day. Mirror was ready as promised, it fit perfectly. My old mirror was recycled by Dick's Rancho Glass at no extra cost. Great service!

The tempered bay window consisted of 3 panes (~55"x45") of which the middle pane mysteriously shattered. The window also had a unique privacy pattern. Access had to be from the outside and required replacement of the sealed outer 2 panes. The company sent out their expert glazier Steve. After analyzing various options for the replacement, Steve determined the best course of action. I felt Steve's estimate reasonable, and proceeded with ordering the work. The company kept me informed all through the process. I observed Steve throughout the installation and his workmanship was top-notch.

They first sent me an email to try to answer my problem with my broken window to save me a service fee. I wasn't sure of the problem, so they came out. They gave a 3 hour window and called about 20 minutes before coming. They came in the time frame they promised. They were very knowledgeable about windows, courtious and professional. They repaired my window quickly and efficiently. I have used them before and would recommend them to anyone with any kind of glass/window issues.

We suffered an attempted break-in where 9 screens were destroyed. This company provided excellent service in measuring, providing a written estimate and building and installing the new screens professionally and courteously. Other companies I contacted wanted me to do the measurements and then it would have been my responsibility if they did not fit. Thank you, Dick's Rancho Glass!

A dual pane window was broken during an attempted break-in. The "fixed" side was broken & this window had metal grids. Dick's (on San Jan Ave) measured the same day I initially called; however, because of the holidays, they couldn't install until the following week (bummer). The install went smoothly and the replacement window looks great.

Dick's Rancho Glass built a 3/4" thick 2' x 5' glass countertop with a 10" round sink hole. They were easy to work with and the finished product was perfect. I would definitely do business with them again.

Professional glaziers arrived on time, clearly explained the process and all costs. They did an incredibly clean job, no nicks or scratches on the wood door or mullioned window trim pieces. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Bravo to Dick's Rancho Glass.

I was working that day (but I was close) and my wife stayed home that day to meet the team from Dick's Rancho Glass. Ivan and his partner showed up on time and got right to work. They said the door track should be replaced, but the manufacturer of the door is no longer in business. My wife called me so I could speak with Ivan to review our options. I liked the somewhat temporary fix and Ivan went to work. Ivan worked very hard to prepare the old track before he installed the new unit. You could tell he wanted to do the best work possible and we are pleased with the job. In fact, we don't recall our door EVER sliding as well as it does now!

Initially we felt like we were getting good service when they came to measure the window and select a replacement. The price seemed reasonable, and the person helping us was friendly. It was a little weird to me that they were trying to talk us into the cheaper dual pane windows with metal spacer that are "only a little less energy efficient" than the plastic spacer. Being someone who is hyper-conscious about being energy efficient this was a turn-off. After the order was placed, though, we were much less pleased with their customer service. It took over a month for the window to finally be installed. The worst of the customer service issues was appointment scheduling. As we live near the business, they apparently decided that it was most convenient to schedule us for the end of the day. But they missed every appointment window and cancelled one appointment after the appointment window, and after my husband had taken time off from work in order to be there to meet them. When they finally did manage to come to the house to install the window I have to be very thankful that the workman doing the install realized that the initial measurements were wrong BEFORE he removed the existing window. He took new measurements, and then we had to wait again for the replacement window. When the window was finally installed, the workman who did the work was polite, efficient and extremely quick. He got it done in about 10 minutes, instead of the 30 minutes we had been told to expect. the install looked great, and in the months since we have had no problems with the window.

We used Dick's Rancho Glass at 5349 San Juan Ave. Ph no: 965-6554. We called this location rather than the Rancho Cordova location, because it's closer to where we live. We called and made the appt. They were friendly, helpful. They arrived on time, were professional, courteous, and did a great job. They came to our house a few years ago and replaced the glass on our patio sliding door. They did a very good job then, and the patio glass has held up well.... that's why we called them to replace the kitchen window. We would definitely use them again, if needed, and feel very comfortable recommending them.

they arrived within the window of time they told me they would be here. He assessed what what wrong, showed me what was wrong and then proceeded to fix the problem and the doors now work beautifully. on the way out of my house, he noticed the screen door to my patio was on backwards, he asked if he could fix it, and of course i said yes, not only did he put the screen on properly he fixed the screw in door so it would now latch properly. He did not charge me for this extra bit of customer service, All I can say is WOW, what a great company and great service and staff.

We ordered custom frames for mirrors for bathrooms. They did a great job at a reasonable price install a new mirror in one frame and an existing mirror in new frame. It turned out great and looks wonderful in bathroom.

They did a nice job. They were great. They were punctual and efficient. They were here when they said they would be. I am no engineer, but I assume the installation was done properly. I like the product that they provide. The quality was excellent. They were responsive and professional. I would use this provider again.

I dropped the frame off and picked out the mirror. they called the next day and it was ready to pick up. Great service.

I took measurements and returned in couple of days to pickup the glass.

Glass fit perfectly and is exactly what we wanted. Excellent work. Phone courtesy was a little short which is why I rated B on professionalism. I also did not understand their method of tracking orders since the person who answered the phone could never find my order and had to find the right person who knew where the order was. But overall, they did a great job and in a very reasonable time frame, which is what matters most.

The installers showed up on time and worked continuously until finishing the job. They were friendly and polite. The contemporary design of this door (frameless) enhances the beauty of the tile work surround without blocking the view. About a month later, we have no problems with the installation or quality of the product. We think it was a good investment.

Very well. I emailed them for a quote. I took it in and had a new glass shelf the next day. Couldn't ask for more!
