Clark Pest Control

First came out in the summer to get rid of several wasp nests - in a concrete wall, and several under the eaves (2-story house). The wasps came back and restareted one of the nests, so we called Clark and they came right back out (for no addititional charge) and sprayed and knocked the nest down again ... we haven't had any problems with wasps since then. We also had them set up regular quarterly service. They have been 2 times since the initial visit. They just do a permiter around the house, so they don't need to come inside except in the garage. We haven't had any problems with pests. Both guys that have come out have been really nice and friendly. The only issue that I have is that I have no idea when they are going to show up - I'm sure that I could call them and ask what the schedule is, but I've been too lazy to do that - but it does seem like something that they should have told us, or they should give us a warning call the day before. Luckily we work from home so we're always here, so it's not that big a deal. I'm very pleased with the service and would definitely reccomend them.

We were pleased with them. They are reliable and get good results from them. They are very responsive. They come right away when I call them. I am please with the price they charge as well.

The young man who comes out is always very polite and professional, and they are quick to respond when we call. .

We have a contract with them monthly or usually quarterly. We also had them doing some rodent trapping i.e., rat catching for a rat that was on our attic. We have a regular pest service with them. We are very happy with them. They are professional and call in advance. They come in, get the work done and have no problems. They are prompt, reliable, and they do their job. They were willing to come and catch the rat, which not everyone will do. That included going up into the attic, setting the trap, and then coming back to get the rat. We will definitely use them in the future.

They bill us every other month and they are fine. They do what they are supposed to do and we don't have any bugs. We don't call them, they tell us when they are going to come.

They did not have a single job service. We had to pay for an annual service. I was able to get the service cancelled early but I didn't realize that this was an option until after 7 months or so of service. Their traps did seem to catch all of the rodents. And they gave advice on how to prevent future rat infestations. They did offer to spray insecticide around the house every month, but I didn't need that service. The servicemen were always nice but their hours tend to be the same as my work hours.

From start to finish this was a pretty painless process. They were friendly on the phone, schedule the appointment promptly and amazingly for the same day! The tech was on time, maybe even a few minutes early. He walked the areas of concern with me answered all my questions and went over all the available service options they had. Once I decided what I wanted, we did the paper work right away and he did the first treatment of the fence line around our property, the entire outside of our home, and getting rid of the wasp threat. I feel this was well worth the investment since they come out to retreat at anytime, no additional charge. I am a lot more at ease knowing I don't have to kill the wasps myself!

Roger arrived a few minutes early and was very friendly. He did a thorough job looking and poking around the house and the garage and going under the house. I accompanied him and he explained what he was doing and why, and what he was finding. I received a written report in the mail a few days later summarizing his findings. He explained that I was not eligible for a contract because some of the crawl space under the house was inaccessible. The written report, however, suggested that I purchase a contract. I believe it was just standard language and marketing. I would use them again.

We've used Clark Pest Control for about 3 years now - had a horrible experience with ants in the house one winter - called Clark and they came out immediately and fixed the problem. We've been using them ever since and I've not seen an ant in the house since. The technician(s) have ALL been professional, prompt and friendly. We get a call as soon as service has been performed (if we're not home) to let us know what was done and what they found. I've recommended them to friends who have used them and are very happy, too.

Roger poked around looking for dry rot and hints of termites for a bit. He said that there wasn't much he could do with my shed since there was no underground clearance to check underneath. I have found evidence out there of termites in the past but he didn't seem to see anything. He briefly went under the house. He said that it was impossible for him to do an inspection of 90% of it because my metal ductwork was too low and there wasn't enough room for him to fit through. I had another contractor working on my AC right near there and he felt that Roger just didn't want to do it based on what he saw and what Roger said to him. Roger is a large guy in his middle years and it's not clear to me whether or not he could do the inspection or just didn't want to. He went on to state that it's unlikely that anyone has ever fully inspected the underneath of my home for termites and that I should have someone either dig out a path or change the ductwork to a more flexible movable type. They later quoted me a bid for $650 to dig it out. Joe took a look around and found one area where pests could get in. I asked him if he had any smaller guys available that could possibly get under the house and that I'm willing to pay for this (a general inspection is free). He said he thought he had somebody and that person can block up the one area to keep the rodents out when he comes. He said that he would call me back to set this up. Joe never called back. Roger called back two days later with a message stating that they're willing to bid on the new ductwork under the house or do a dig out. I called Joe back six days later. I expressed my disappointment in his lack of follow through, on their supposed "free inspection," and let him know that I'm not pleased with Roger or his calls. He called back and said that he spoke with Roger and that they would bid on a digout. This was frustrating because I clearly didn't trust Roger's point of view and he was basing his decision on that point of view rather than having someone else come out and look at it for themself. He promised that he would follow up with me on the estimate for the digout. Once again, I got no callback from Joe, but three calls from Roger. Roger estimated that a full day's digging (5 hours!) might do the job and would start at $650.00. I left him a message saying that I was not interested in doing that at this time and asked him to not call me back. This company apparently prides itself on Customer Service and I feel like I missed the boat on that one. My sense (particularly in light of the point of view of the other contractor) is that they didn't want to inspect the house and do that kind of work for free. I may be wrong, but I was disappointed in the way I was treated and their spotty follow through. I plan on having a new company come out and take a look at what's going on.

All the Clark employees I dealt with were prompt, friendly, and professional. They did a thorough inspection for the estimate and were able to come do the treatment 3 days later. There was a mix-up between the guy who did the estimate and the guy who did the treatment over my front porch (they weren't supposed to drill there but they did). However, they were so nice and went above and beyond to fix the mistake that I would still recommend them without reservation.

Lee is great! we've had a bad ant experience and he stops by frequently just to check in. Would recommend them to anyone!

They charge me 81 dollars every two months. They are very good. They are responsible; give me a lot suggestion as far as what to do and they are always there. I have no problems. Everything is an A with them and I would use them in future.

Very well and I would always recommend Clark to all who inquire about pest control.

They will come out as many times as I need them for each month. They are very professional, prompt and come out right away in an emergency situation. They are excellent and I would highly recommend them and I have no complaints against them.

The work was done very well. We are very happy with their service. We have a yearly contract with them now. So, we pay them every month. We paid $800 for a year. It was good price. The technician, who came out, was really casual and personable. He was friendly and professional. He knew what he was doing. He was clean and tidy. He had to go to the attic. He closed the attic once he was done. He was very respectful of our house.

There was a funny sound from our roof area. He fished around and thinks he found the problem because there was a place that a little critter had been boring into the side of the house. He didn’t see any activity then but he could have his boss come back if I wanted to pursue it. He came soon after I called and he looked around for about an hour but he didn’t charge me because he didn’t really do anything. He never got up on the roof or anything, he looked at it from the ground with a pair of binoculars. He was very good and very nice.

They get rid of any pests around the house and keep them from coming into the house. We had a lot of problems with ants and a lot of other pests, but none ever since we started using them. They people that have come have been very professional and they did not do things that are unnecessary. They are on time, accurate and the result has been good.

The worker is really nice. If I find a spider, I just have to call him and he'll be out to spray again. There are people in my neighborhood who uses him, so I thought I would give him a shot. I will continue to use this service in the future.

I have an annual subscription. After a payment of $150 initial money, they come out and do the spraying, check traps for rodents and other things. They have only packages. They don’t have single services. They were responsive. They called back right away and followed up. They let me know when they would be here.

I was stung by a yellowjacket for the first time since I bought my house last fall, while mowing the front lawn. I located the nest where the previous owners had removed a full grown tree, and left a 3'x3' depression in the lawn with portions of the trunk and roots still there, rotting away. Apparently yellowjackets find such locations irresistible for building a large nest. I couldn't mow the lawn again until I dealt with it. Mike from Clark Pest Control came out earlier than scheduled, but he called first to ensure it was OK. He sprayed the nest and the surrounding area in the depression with a laser-thin stream of liquid pesticide, and warned me not to water the area for 48 hours. After two days there was no sign of yellowjacket activity. I dug out what I could of the nest, and filled the whole depression with soil, which I'll seed and fertilize this fall. I hope that spot will no longer attract critters looking for a home.

Initial inspection was arranged quickly, and due to a cancellation, company was able to complete work within a week. There was an initial misunderstanding about the start time of the job on treatment day, but the technician appologized (and later, a manager wrote a thank you note to us, and appologized for the misunderstanding.) This job took the better part of an entire day, and near the end of the day, another employee showed up to help complete the job by 5. Technician was clean, pressed, professional, and well mannered. I am known to be detail oriented, but feel he did a first rate job and that I could trust him with my property. The hole they had to cut in the wall for access was neatly patched with a plastic "door" for future access. He worked the entire day, and I never saw him take a break.

We were so impressed by Ron and his pleasing personality and knowledge that we signed up for the service! He is a true gentleman and the kids like him too! Now whenever we have an issue we just call Clark and Ron returns and fixes the problem for us. The service is a bit pricey, but it is worth the peace of mind and the free termite inspection every year.

I decided to go with them bimonthly to maintain my home.

The project manager inspected the site within a few days of my contacting the company and emailed me a written bid later that day. The work was performed a week later - on schedule in a light rain - in conformance with the bid.
