Windows were clean, but some streaks remained. Provider was on time and worked and was finished in a timely manner.

In the front of our home are 2 oak trees. During the Fall these two trees are a steady source of falling leaves. Consequently, over the years when we were doing the job ourselves, we normally postponed doing a thorough job until most or all leaves had finished falling. In this particular year there had not been much rain so there had been no reason to get out to do any 'emergency' clearance of leaves. So by the time America's Best arrived, both oak trees were complete bare of leaves. The leaves which had fallen from the trees which were left by that point were in one of 3 places: 1) in small groups about halfway or more up towards the peak of the roof; 2) In the gutters themselves; and 3) sitting at the very edge of the lower roof, in many places literally overhanging the gutters. The crew took a reasonable amount of time to do the gutter cleaning, and they did not leaving a mess on the ground below the gutters. I had busied myself with my own project indoors and had felt confident in leaving the crew that they did not need my supervision in order to do a proper job. So when the knock came at the door to tell me that the job was done and to collect the additional amount we agreed upon, I stepped out off the front porch to take a cursory glance at the gutter area, and was more than mildly surprised to find that the leaves which abutted up to the edge of the roof and over the gutter had been left untouched. Now I want to be clear here. By no means did I have any expectations that a crew hired to clean my gutters would be clearing off my entire roof of all leaves left on it. On the other hand, I had taken it as a given that the workers from America's Best would realize that I wasn't paying $160 to have my gutters be clean only as long as it would take for the leaves directly above gutter at the edge of the roof to roll off and into the gutters, clogging them again. And it was not ask if the leaves at the roof's perimeter went back 5 or 6 or 8 ft beyond where the roof met the gutter. Indeed, the leaves the were on roof's edge went back no further than 12 inches - perhaps 18 in in a few spots. Because this had seemed so obvious to me before they began the job I had not specifically addressed the issue. Nor did thw crew leader, who had done a careful measure of the linear footage of our gutters before commencing the job. So afterwards, upon looking at how the leaves had remained untouched, almost to an extent that it looked as if an effort had been made to make sure the roof leaves stayed right where they were, I struggled with how I could tell the crew that I thought they had not done what a reasonable person would think the job would be without insuting the intelligence of the crew leader. Finally I came out and asked, 'How could you clean the gutters of leaves that were in the gutter without realizing that the leaves wich were overhanging the gutter would fall into the now-clear space below with the first gentle gust of a breeze. The response i received wasll that they were 'not allowed' to clean what sits on the roof no matter how close to the gutter the leaves were. Finally I said, well I'm not so much concerned with the gutters at the rear of the house but I'd really like you to get those leaves that are currently hugging the gutter because the work he had done would by then not even make any difference since the gutters would just be full again. So, not very happily, he set out to do as I asked and perhaps 15 minutes passed before I heard the truck start up and drive away. I went outside and found that perhaps 30 ft just over the front page had been cleared of the edge leaves, but that the remainer of the front of the house was left as it had beem. I waited about a week or so before I finally decided that the job that had been done, while strictly speaking a gutter cleaning, had not been within the spirit of what most people would have expexted and that at the very least I should have been told before the job started and given the chance to pay extra if that's what it took to get the work done that I thought i had already paid to have done. So I wrote an email to America;s Best describing the above. What I received back did not warm my heart. America's Best could return, yes, but (contrary to what I had been told about not being authorized to clean even the roof's edge) cleaning even the edge of the roof would entail additional costs. Well okay, I thought, until I read on. But of corse, it said, there would be an additional travel fee of $89 just to return to the house. Since $89 was the amount that I had paid Angie's List for the Big Deal in the first lace, I really felt that under the circumstances adding on such a charge was simply out of line and uncalled for. Certainly it was no consistent with the 'go-the-extra-mile' attitude which I have encountered in dealing with every other Angie's List contractor whom I had hired. Would I hire this crew to do my gutters again? Absolutely not, not with attitude which even management had expressed towards what I felt was a legitimate violation of the spirit if not the letter of the gutter cleaning arrangement we had with America's Best. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that based upon our experience, this company does not really even deserve a place on Angie's List, which shoots for a level of quality and responsiveness that I don't see this company as being capable of.

They came and performed the work well and left. I will use them again and have referred them to others. I received good comments from referrels.

They were on time. They came and did the work on the inside and outside and were very, very thorough.

They were pleasant. I checked on them a couple of times and they seemed to be productive. I appreciated that they told me the situation of the gutters afterwards. I was wondering if there was a lot of dirt in the gutters and if the spouts were working they let me know that all was good. They were pleasant and professional when they dealt with me.

The deal was $99 for gutter cleaning. The payment was charged with one click with completely understanding what was covered. We had another estimation for $250. After they arrived, they told you that $99 only covers very small portion of the house. The final estimate was $350. I went ahead because I didn't want to wait. However the problem was not fixed. I called up the customer service, they said they are not responsible without even coming over to check. I was so upset that I cancelled my angie's list membership.

I was happy with them. They arrived when they said they would and did a good job cleaning the windows.

Three guys showed up on time and were very good at cleaning up afterwards. I did have to pay a little extra since our square footage exceeded the amount allowed in the Big Deal, however their pricing was fair. They were in and out of here very quickly and worked efficiently.

It went really well. They did a really good job.

My experience with them was great. They were very sincere, courteous, and professional.

I prepaid with a $99. Angie's List coupon. The upper level gutters had never been cleaned. Brent, the worker, was very pleasant and an efficient worker. He cleaned out a huge amount of debris, cleaned up afterwords, and even cleaned off the driveway.

America's Best, Inc had to keep coming out because the person they sent was not doing a good job. It was a fiasco basically. I was blamed for something and they couldn't even say that they are sorry and they are going to make it right. They kind of pushed it off until we had to send an email to say that this was not done before they came out. Our experience may be different from other people's experiences and we are very loyal when we find good people and we had someone cleaning the gutters every year for the past 6 years but he has since retired and I know we won't use them again after what we went through. I was thrilled once they got it right, but they had to come out four times. Their communication was our main problem. They even said they said they sent somebody else out there to do the work, but no body had come. I can't say if it was the worker that they hired, if they wanted to keep good customers, they should respond to them which they didn't. They were punctual the first time but they didn't do the job right. When you get blamed for their issues and not having good workers, one of the guys who runs the office here said he would come out, but he didn't come. I would like to find someone who I don't have to follow for four weeks.

Extra charge for travel $25 not disclosed at time of purchase. Still a good a deal. The large window of time that I needed to be home is difficult to schedule around my work and they rescheduled once, which was rather inconvenient. They seemed to do a good job. Had used them the year before without the travel surcharge and was happy.

Two guys came within the expected 3 hour window of time. They first measured the length of the gutters to be cleaned to see how many linear feet exceeded the Angie's List offer of $99. The difference made the cleaning service come to $166.50. They scooped leaves from the gutters, most of which were dry due to no rain for the prior few weeks. They did not flush the gutters with water to ensure the gutters were clear and unclogged. The service description includes flushing the gutters with water. A few days after the service I called the main number for America's Best to tell my story. The operator said that she would contact the manager of the two guys who were sent over to clean the gutters and have him call me. I haven't been contacted yet. I called the office ten days ago with no follow up. I feel like I've been taken advantage of and will not use this company for anything ever again. P.S. The office staff I worked with to schedule (and then had to reschedule due to calendar conflicts) Deidre and Amanda, were always pleasant and professional on the phone.

HE arrived on time. He checked out the gutters and told me that I was within the 100 ft limit. He then proceeded to thorough clean the gutters especially the ones near trees which were first cleaned. When he was completed, he left his card and told me that he also power washed houses and cleaned windows. I refered him to a friend who had her windows cleaned and she was very satisfied as well as impressed with the thorough job completed. No problems and I plan to use him in the future.

The service went fine from start to finish.

The 2 gentlemen showed up on time and got to work right away. They just did one side of my house and part of the front so, from start to finish it was about an hour. They said it wasn't too bad but, they did have a couple spots with some build up. They were very nice and I would recommend them to anyone else.

They were prompt, and did good work, it turned out fine.

I received an email from Angie's List advertising gutter cleaning services. I prepaid for the service through Angie and then a representative from America's Best called to schedule an appointment for January 23. However, the appointment had to be rescheduled because the technicians suffered a death in their family. The appointment was rescheduled for January 30 between 8:00 and 11:00 am. The Technicians arrived before 9:00. They were very personable, competent and efficient. I am very pleased with their work. Edward Jones

The workers ran out of time and were cleaning windows in the dark. Of course, the next day, there were streaks on the glass. They came back. We were dissappointed at the price also.

They arrived on time and were very pleasant. They cleaned all of the windows that they were told to clean. Our fault. we forgot about one of the windows. There was some streaking when they left.

My house is not a big house and I think that is a lot to charge for the service.

Overall, generally pleased, although I thought price was slightly high.

They wanted to charge more but they did not. Overall, the experience was fine.
