Description of Work: I called to inquire about replacing the seal in my front loading washing machine. The man who called me back told me I probably didn't need to replace it. He went into great detail on how to clean the machine which was most likely the source of the smell. He was very helpful and even though I did not need to use his services I would call him again if I needed a repair to my washer.

Description of Work: He cleared the problem and explained what caused the outage. He did not have to replace parts. no charge. - an honest person.

Description of Work: It's Sunday evening and my refrigerator went out - nothing was working - it just stopped working. I called A&J Appliance and the guy called me back (on a Sunday) within 15 minutes. He said he doesn't service my area but he said something didn't sound right (that the refrig just stopped working - lights and all) and he told me to check the breaker (that was a duh moment for me). So I did check the breaker and sure enough it was tripped - it's all fixed now and good to go! This guy saved me a ton of money in food cost (because I know noone could come out until Monday and the food would be gone by then) - plus he saved me a service call from someone else. WHAT AN AWESOME COMPANY! I would recommend this guy to anyone!

Description of Work: Replaced a type of vacum hose,damaged by mice.He knew what the problem was when I told him what the washer wasn!t doing.Very nice guy knows his stuff.Would call him again if needed.

Description of Work: MY WASHER WASN'T SPIN RINSING, HE TOOK IT APART AND PUT IN A NEW PART WITHIN AN HOUR...WHICH MEANS ALOT TO SOMEONE WITH NO TIME TO SPARE. I ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIM TO OTHERS, VERY PERSONABLY AND PROFESSIONAL.

Description of Work: Dishwasher would not start. Phil (owner) came over promptly as arranged. Within one hour the diswasher was fixed. One problem had existed since the installation 7 years ago. Dishwasher was very hard to open and close. Phil reset the diswasher and now it works perfectly, so much easier. 2nd problem was no power. Phil discovered that the plug under the sink had come loose. I really appreciate the work he did and his honesty. He could have told me anything was wrong, but was very sincere and honest. Gave me good tips on how to make the dishwasher work better and last longer. I will call him again, anytime I need appliance repair. I give A & J Appliance Repair my highest recommendation.

Description of Work: Phil was very friendly and inventive. I had some issues with my old stove .There was sparking coming out from the burners, Since my stove was so old the parts needed to repair it didn't exist anymore . Phil figured how to make the missing part from some materials he had so then I didn't need to buy a new stove. He was very professional and he saved me a lot of money! I would recommend his services highly.
