Description of Work: Auburn Moving moved my wife and I 525 miles to Newcastle Ca. with approx. 8000 lbs on-board. The company was extremely professional and did what they committed to do, all at petty much last minute notice as our original choice moving Co. Disappeared on us. Auburn Moving really helped me out of a jam. Boxes were tagged and counted, nothing was broken. My biggest (being extremely picky here) gripe was that a center leg of an entertainment center was not adjusted, allowing the piece to bow. It wasn't big enough to complain about. I'm sure that had I said anything they would have set it right. Overall, they exceeded our expectations.

Description of Work: At the last minute I was overwhelmed and they did a lot of packing for me mostly my kitchen and 50, yes fifty, boxes of books. Also we had some very heavy file cabinets as well as a large mahogany hutch with curved glass, a handmade cedar chest almost a 100 years old and some older, solid wood very heavy furniture. Everything came through fine except one scratch on a cheapie bookcase that I can stain. In addition, we had 5 guys and 2 trucks and they had bid for 7 hours and yet really hustled and finished in six and that's what they charged us for. That's honest! Definitely would recommend.

Description of Work: They gave us a good bid and stuck to it. They moved everything into their warehouse for a couple of months and then up to Seattle. Only one bookcase was destroyed and they failed to pack a few items. They were much less responsive about getting the final move scheduled. They delivered on the final day of the window they had promised after a number of different estimates. This was frustrating and caused us some delays.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 deal for $200 Worth of Professional Moving Services. The service went very well. The staff was very professional and showed up on time. They were very careful with our belongings.

Description of Work: I moved from Yuba City to Santa Rosa. Auburn showed up on time and got to work packing their truck for the move. Everything necessary was shrink-wrapped or padded. The driver, Ryan, and his helpers Dran and Arty were professional and courteous. The next day there were problems with overweight on the truck, but I was kept informed of the progress of the move by phone, both from Ryan and the main office. When the trucks arrived, Ryan, Dran, and Bruce the other truck driver unloaded and put things where I wanted it. Definitely would use Auburn Moving again.

Description of Work: They did an estimate for my move from Sacramento to western Colorado. They couldn't have been nicer -- by phone (many calls) and in person. |It turned out the cost of a professional move was just way too much for me. But, when I let them know about this, they even gave me suggestions for how to do a "DYI" move! |If I were going to use professional movers, Auburn Moving definitely would be my go-to company.
