Dave sat down with me to review replacing the doors. He listened to what my concerns were and suggested a direct, cost effective solution (couldn't ask for more than that considering the economy...). On top of that, he made a suggestion that I didn't realize was possible. Because the doors would swing into the house taking up valuable floor space, installing the doors to swing out to the patio would give us a view of Southern California from the mountain top! Without Dave's experience and insight, we might have just replaced two doors and been confined to the original build. I can certainly say that throughout the project, his professional courtesy was completely unexpected in light of his experience and field of expertise. I will be hiring Dave again for more projects on both of my homes.

From, what I have seen, they are almost too busy, but, I will give a report as soon as the work is done.

There is nothing they can't do. They do an excellent job and keep you informed. I spent $60,000 on another remodeling job with them. They are smart and they have fair prices.

I spent $3000 on the job. I had received a couple of other estimates. They did some additional work. They were not scheduled to put two pot lights in the hall and a fan up in the attic. The total cost of doing all the work, including the additional work, came in within the estimates of the other companies. They were very reasonable. The pot lights were fitted in incorrectly by somebody else. They corrected it. They did a good job. They have been around a long time. So, they seemed to know what they were doing. The father and the son are both electricians. I think they are starting to get busy. They were supposed to start the work on a particular day, but they did not start until the following day. They thought they could do all the work in two days (the original timeframe was three days, but they were delayed by a day). However, they had to come back to finish it. I will recommend them to others. I had a contract with them, which stated the timeframe. However, I do understand that things do not always work out in the said timeframe. They did everything very professionally. I had a fan which was not located properly in the master bedroom. They removed and patched the hole. They also repainted it. I cannot even tell if there was anything wrong there. They kept me informed of what was happening or when they were delayed. They normally came out early. I will use their services in the future if required.

The job went very well. Even though it was a fairly small job, they didn't hesitate to help me out and my experience was very pleasant. I would call sherwood Construction & Electric again for any future projects and I hope you give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Sherwood Construction worked very well with me. They were very clean and as orderly as possible when demolishing part of the house. I really didn't have to do much with Sherwood in my corner.
