The gentleman was extremely thorough. I had another service come before and they never fixed the problem with my vent. This time it cured the problem, I am no longer being forced to vent into my house in order to get my dryer to heat. I would definitely use Magnolia Heating again and I would recommend them to other people.

The service was very good, and I would have them back again. I am happy with what I go out of the job, and I had to pay extra for some additional work that they did. They were on time, knowledgeable, and they provided good feedback for alternative choices. The price wasn't particularly cheape, but I got everything that I wanted.

This guy was great in every way. He called and said he would be out at 11:15 am, and he showed up at 11:15 on the nose. When was the last time that ever happened. He did a thorough inspection on the furnace and made a couple of recommendations. The whole deal went very smooth, Jacob was a very nice person.

Our heater was blowing only cold air yesterday afternoon. I called Magnolia HVAC and they sent us Jake who arrived right on time the same day I called. The heater worked perfectly when he turned it back on! But instead of just leaving with a service fee, Jake took the time to talk to us about how our unit works. He listened to us carefully and went back up on the roof to do a complete diagnostic test to be sure that it was going to continue to run well. He left us all of the diagnostic specs and when he left we still had a working heater. What caused it to blow cold? Could have been the unit design/weather...who knows? But he took TIME with us instead of just blowing us off. We would recommend Magnolia HVAC and JAKE to anyone! Thank you! We are warm again!

Magnolia is a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. We had spent $200 with other companies to look for the problem before we called Magnolia. None of them gave a solution. With Magnolia, we spent a total of $800, and Steve promised to give 15% for the service fee. We also wanted to install a humidifier system in our home, but the installation labor along is about $2,000 (the machines are less then $800). We consider it high price and we are still debating ourselves if we want to pay that much for the humidifiers.

Extra cost was for parts for condenser unit. Installed hose at no charge (he had the extra hose piece on his truck), and inspected my pool heater at no charge as well. _x000D_|Service tech was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing each step of the way. Great experience!!

I had found Magnolia Heating and Cooling through the Big Deals offered through Angie's list and I purchased the dryer vent cleaning the last week of December. I called Magnolia and spoke with Felicia and asked her if there were any way to have a technician come out to service the dryer vent before New Year's as I was concerned about the amount of lint buildup that had accumulated in the vent outlet. She came through with flying colors and called me back to let me know she was able to schedule a technician to come out the same day. Our technician, Brian, came to our house on time and promptly went to work. He was efficient, quick, friendly but completely professional and knowledgeable. He explained what kinds of laundry produce higher lint loads, how the newer dryers' thermostats work, and what we could to do to keep the dryer running at top efficiency between cleanings. Brian cleaned up the work area and made sure the dryer and vent were working at top efficiency. We greatly appreciated Felicia's efforts to meet our request for service on such short notice and for Brian's skills at taking care of the problem with our vent thus putting our minds at ease.

Technician arrived on time. Inspected vent, performed cleaning and also suggested cleaning the unit itself. my dryer is working perfectly now. I would use this company again.

The fact that he didn't have a replacement on his truck meant he'd need to drive to the nearest Home Depot to buy one, drive back, and then replace the old with the new. Since all that would over-run the time limit for the service, I opted to do that on my own. Several days later I was able to pick up the new outlet and replace it for the old. He wound up doing very little, however, the fact that he was here and pinpointed the problem was, to me, a great benefit and made it worthwhile. p.s.: I did feel that he should have had a replacement outlet in his truck. Even though their company name says "Heating and Cooling", if they take on electrical work, as in this case, they should be equiped to handle all electrical work.

They did the inspection. I knew something was wrong with it; it turned out that they had to repair a part to the heating. Just one technician came out and he did the original inspection. Then he had to order the part, that took a day to get and then he came the following day or day after and it took him about an hour to 2 hours to complete the work. The repair was more expensive than I thought though. The ladies in the office were also very helpful. The day that the repair guy was suppose to come, he called me and it turned out that when I got a number that I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer it. He called again, so I put a block on that. So unfortunately he called into his office; then the office called me and we re-arranged the scheduling time. They were very polite with that too. He was informative, showed me the parts that were broken and he was very knowledgeable. I appricaite the integrity and quality of their work, so I would definitely call them again. They also called me up the next day to follow up to see if everyting was working properly.

The technician was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. I just expected a more thorough check-up instead of just plugging a device into each electrical outlet. My contractor has this same device and would have done as much for no charge. I was expecting a wiring check at least, a little disappointed with the offer, but I give can give a fair overall rating.

Magnolia Fixed my heater and AC. These folks are TREMENDOUS! They came twice even Christmas eve to be certain my heater was fixed..... How many businesses so we know that are as kind as these folks ? It amazes me that these People I do not know are so kind and care so much that I am not without heat for Christmas that they give up their Holiday time to drive all the way from Riverside. Wow. I got a call from their office on the next day after I bought the deal on Angie's list. My unit stopped running on the day after I bought the deal. She told me that the deal was not qualified for the unit that wasn't running and I got to pay 89.99 for the diagnostic fee. She gave me an appointment and on the day of appointment, a guy from the company showed up about on time. He checked the unit and told me what the problem was. It was a kind of like a switch and it needed to be changed. The part would be cost about $200, he said. But he said the diagnostic fee would be waived if I changed the part. He also gave me 5% discount on the part. I agreed and the problem was solved. The guy was nice and very professional. He even wore shoe covers inside my house. I don't have anything to complain about. I would recommend to anyone to work with them. Keep up your great work, Magnolia !!!!

Extremely professional service man named Jacob. Called before he came and came on time. Polite and clean. Put his shoe covers on. Honest and did not "invent" repair like the other heating/air people I used. Price was great. He serviced my unit and it all is working great now. The repair and the service both done on same day.

Dryer Vent Cleaning - I was very happy with the work done. Chris was very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend his service again.

I bought the deal and thought that they could easily install two motion lights within the allotted time for 99.09 Well, as it turned out, several trips, didn't have a tall ladder rescheduled. Then had to return to adjust light left on which immediately burned out and stopped working. Hum... Very expensive project and one of the two lights doesn't work.

We had purchased our home in August, 2013 after a home inspector said everything was good to go. Well, the furnace did go...and was red tagged. Since our light bill for the first month in this house was over $400, we decided it was also time to replace the air conditioner. After much reading and a number of estimates, we decided to use Magnolia. Initially we thought we would likely use the vendor who originally inspected and failed the furnace, but unlike Eric at Magnolia, he was not as forthcoming with answers to questions like whether or not the permits were included in his quote (I don't think they were) and whether they would be hauling away the old equipment (which Magnolia did.) Since Eric spelled everything out plainly and didn't attempt to tack on different charges after the fact and he was priced competitively, we had to go with him! Eric from Magnolia came out and did a load calculation and inspection of our home and it was decided that we would go with a Trane 80% efficiency furnace and a 3 ton 16 SEER Trane air conditioner. Since we didn't have the equity in our home to do a HERO loan, we thought we would have to use the last of our savings along with a credit card, but Eric (who is approved to do the HERO loan had we qualified) arranged a terrific loan through Wells Fargo and he bought down the interest rate to under 6%! Through his inspection, we discovered that the insulation in our attic had been strangely suspended between the rafters and the floor of the attic, so Eric said he would take care of that in the price he had already quoted us for the furnace/air conditioner. When I talked to him about the fact that our lanai was neither heated nor cooled, he offered to install venting into the space, also at no extra charge! That increased our liveable space from 1550 square feet to well over 1700 square feet! And we had a regular louvred grill on the air intake that sounded like a jet taking off every time the old fan kicked in, so Eric changed out the grill to a bar style (again, at no extra charge!) and it is incredibly quiet! Eric's crew was great. They arrived on time (as did Eric for our appointments), went right to work, were polite and informative when we asked questions, incredibly neat and clean about their work and had the job(s) done in a day! They were the epitome of professionalism. They followed up a few days later to charge the air conditioner. We now have a larger, much more comfortable home...all because of Magnolia Heating and Cooling! I highly recommend them for any heating and/or air conditioning needs you may have. They also do electrical work and I look forward to talking with Eric about doing a few jobs around our home!

The office lady was responsive and tried her best to make a same day appointment. Jacob came on time. After cleaned the duct in garage, he went to attic. Some lints were removed out from the duct and a bird's nest was pushed out from the vent. Jacob is professional and I'll definitely use the service in the future.
