Our experience with Magnolia Heating and Cooling has been very successful since we purchased our furnace and air conditioner from them in 2009. The office staff is very helpful and the technical staff is prompt, courteous and thorough. We are always treated as our business means something to them.

I highly recommend this provider. I purchased their dryer vent cleaning special from Angie's List, and was almost immediately contacted via both email and phone to schedule the actual appointment. Their office personnel is exceptionally nice, efficient and friendly. On the day of service, the technician was not on time, but did call to advise me that he would be late since an appointment at another client went longer than expected. I would not downgrade their rating for this because in my opinion, if I were that other client that had the unforeseen difficulties or challenges, I would want them to stay and take as long as needed to get my job done right. My technican was very professional, and also showed up with protective foot gear to avoid making marks or attracting dirt on my floors. He was very courteous, clean and had a professional appearance and demeanor. He let me know what he was going to do, explained the process, and that he would need to move my washer and dryer. He completed the job, let me know what he found, moved the washer and dryer back, and even swept up from behind the dryer for me. Magnolia Heating and Cooling also does air conditioning and furnace repair and installation. My experience was very favorable, and I would definitely use them for these other services, as needed. They are a very professional, courteous and efficient operation. Thank you!

This A/C unit is a 3 - phase 208 volt system in a commercial building in Corona. There was no power to the unit on the roof top and the tech traced the wiring back to the electrical panel and found that there was no circuit breaker in the panel for the A/C unit. The tech offered to get a circuit breaker for us, but suggested that we could obtain it for much less if we found one ourselves. We rounded up a breaker for this old panel at Orange County Circuit Breakers, which has used but tested breakers for just about any obsolete panel ever made. We then rescheduled with Magnolia. Once we had power to the unit, the tech fired it up and ran a series of diagnostics on it and pronounced it in good condition. He advised us to clean the intake filters in the unit once a month and suggested that we might want to build a sunshade over the condenser unit before summer. These guys are very professional and easy to work with.

Our central air just stopped working, after several attempts of my husband trying to fix it, I decided to call someone to come out and take a look at it. They showed up on time and fixed the issue during the same appointment. Turned out to be something simple my husband messed up during his several attempts to fix the issue. They also did not over charge, he only charged me the inspection fee, I was very very happy with the outcome.

They called to schedule an appointment and did a good job. They are professional, courteous, and showed up on time. They provided me with all the information I needed.

Quickly and cleanly

Service was discussed prior to work so I was well informed of any potential problem with vent running under slab. He was well prepared, and performed job as stated. Didn't run into any problems and was cleaned well.

It went fine. He was professional and everything went well. I was very satisfied with the service.

Great customer service. Their technician on site, I believe his name was John, went right to work, and was considerate of our floors by wearing protective shoe equipment when in the house. He was also very understanding of dad's dementia and was very careful to minimize any intrusion inside the home. They were on time, clear on what had to be done and conditioned the equipment efficiently and in short amount of time.

Serviceman arrived on time. Introduced himself and proceeded to complete the work in a timely manner. Will definitely contact this company for any future A/C needs.

My husband was extremely pleased with the work product and his work ethic. He said if we needed that type of work again, he would not hesitate to call him.

the A.c isn't blowing cool air, so we check angie 's list and thought this is the highest review place, they came and they said the estimate and work is 99 dollar, but when the men show up he quickly said he cannot find the problem , and to go DEEPER , the charge for diagnose is 500 dollar, so we agreed , and than he said something is broke and leaking, to replace the part, is additional $4500 , and to replace a new unit is $12500 . So we thought the number sounds ... off.... .so we call another place, the other place had the similar opinion, but their quote to fix it is $2500 to replace the part, and $4300 to replace a new unit. So i will not recommend this place because they will try to rip you off, i simply spend 500 dollar for nothing, and i will not get the money back at all.

The got back to me within 24 hours of purchasing the deal to tell me that I am outside of their service area and would need to contact Angie’s List for a refund.

Theycame out to inspect my water heater to have it serviced. The service provider stated that you have older water heater and chances are I would have leaks because of it. They gave me the option to not have it done because I could be spending more money in the long run. The company and the guy that came out did a great job, I just decided not to use the Big Deal.

It’s been great. They were honest and very friendly. They didn’t overdo the service and did exactly what was required. It was simple, on time and they did great work.

We moved to this all electric home in April 2014. Our electric bill over this time has been very expensive both summer with AC and winter with heating. The noise and performance of the system was marginal at best. I went and looked at the date on the serial number tag on the system and it was manufactured in 1984! So it was not a question of if it needed to be replaced but more of finding an honest reputable company to do the work. I spent a considerable amount of time researching Southern California Edison (SCE) , Consumer reports, Angies List and BBB. Based on this research Magnolia Heating and Cooling had high marks across the board. Also this company was one of SCE's ENERGY STAR Quality Installation Program recomended contractors. We are more than satisfied with our decision to contract with Magnolia Heating and Cooling. Right from the initial consultation with Eric Smith we felt comfortable with his professional no high pressure approach. His knowledge and experince of the industry was impressive. After we contracted with the company for this project our customer satisfaction only increased above our expectations. We just can not say enough about the complete professional, honest, punctional service provided by the crew of Steve Perez,Justin Phillips, Miguel Marabel and Alan Lomelin. Their integrety, experience and professional workmanship made the project run flawlessly. Well done!! As for the new system........what a trendious difference. We are so comfortable with the new quiet, effecient and state of the art Trane equipment. WOW. We are more than Extremely Satisfied.

Purchased the Big Deal for $64 to check out my ancient HVAC system as it was rather loud & Nathan did a thorough inspection. He looked at the HVAC unit and also checked air flow in each of the rooms (in a couple of rooms it feels a bit light). He recommended replacing the blower motor & wheel, which I had them do on a follow up visit. Nathan replaced those items and also rewired the motor to factory specifications (it previously had not been). He also installed a new spark generator and factory Gold filter - what a difference the repairs have made! I consider Magnolia Heating & Cooling my go to folks for any HVAC issues.

Jacob did a great job. The unit I bought had the wrong size fan and he was able to take the parts & make it fit into the old housing unit. Jacob also took the time to answer all my questions. I am happy with the results and will request him on future jobs.

The estimator was a nice older gentleman but seemed like he didn't really want to be here, I explained that I only wanted to add air conditioning back to my hvac system...he did look in the attic at the insulation however, he never looked at they system under the house instead saying that I need to replace the whole unit and that I needed to be a package unit which is way to much since I am selling my house. The estimate ended up being around $15000. He said I would increase the value of my home by $20,000, needles to day I move on. Frustrating when you specifically state your wants and needs and are given something completely different. .

Magnolia Heating and Cooling are THE BEST!!! The technicians are extremely professional, technically superior, courteous, responsive and always on time. He explained exactly what actions would be performed, kept me informed, and quickly and quietly left after the services were completed and informed me of items I should maintain an awareness of that may cause future problems. He didn't try to upsell services or use scare tactics. I will continue to use them for all heating and cooling needs.

He has been here 3 or 4 times. Jacob is a great employee. He is very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and they have very good rates. I will always use them in the future.

It went well, unfortunately the capacitors on both units were failing (the units are about 8 years old and may have never been serviced) and needed replacing which boosted my expected cost. But overall I was pleased with the service and I am confident that both units are good for a while.

They came to work on my a/c unit. They arrived on time. It went great and we have a quote from them. They only did a tune-up at the time, but essentially assured us that the unit is doing as well as it can for the moment given its age. Again though, we have a bid on a new unit from them if we need it.

They were very good. They are one of the best venders I have used. They were prompt and the tech Jacob was very good. It took him no more than an hour. He was very knowledgeable, contentions and it made all of the difference.
