ER Block Plumbing

I've used these guys before, based on an Angie's List recommendation, and have always been really satisfied - but this last time, they went WAY above and beyond. The gas company had detected a leak, replaced my meter, but could not restore service until repairs were made to the gas lines that were considered "mine". James made the repairs, but the gas company still detected something else very minor, and wouldn't restore service. James returned, and not only made more repairs, but waited until the gas company technician showed up so that I wouldn't be bounced between gas company and plumber. I can't say enough good things about this company! I live in an older home, with lots of trees with lots of roots, so plumbing is definitely a part of my future --- I wouldn't use anyone else.

Answer the phone on one ring was on time quick repair. Great prices highly recommend.. Tight connector replaced hose bib. Great services.. If I have any other plumbing problems diiffently will call them.

At time that it was to put one part back on.Called the vendor because the kitchen faucet was leaking underneath the sink. This was caused because I had tried to fix it when it would not spray water. Once the water was coming out of the faucet it was leaking because I could not put one part back on. I called ER Block Plumbing because they had a good rating on Angies List. They said could not come the day I called because of other jobs. This caused us not to be able to use the kitchen faucet for the rest of the day.The next day a repair man arrived . I showed him the faucet and the part that I had difficulty putting back on. He put it back on in about two minutes. He insulted me by asking what I did for a living, obviously implying that because I was not able to put the one part back on the faucet that I was not very smart. Next he asked me if the service rates had been explained to me, nothing had been said about any service rates. He told me at that it was $97.50 . I had a coupon from Angies List so it was adjusted to $88.00.My main concern is that I was not informed of the service rate, if I had I would have called other plumbers to look for a less expensive rate for a job that took essentially five minutes to do.

Quick response to inquiry Reasonable Price for work from inquiry to completion of work was less than a week. Work was done professionally. Installer was friendly, professional, and courteous. Highly recommended and we will call again if there is a need.

Spoke with Gary (owner) gave me great advice on a 6 month old water hear we had installed and was leaking. Suggested calling the maker to see if they would replace it. They reimbursed us and we called ER Block and an employee Shann came out and replaced our old water heater and was very professional. I have told everyone I know to use them. I will be calling them back to work on another plumbing job we have. Thank you for everything Gary and especially Shann!!!!

I got them from Angie’s List. The experience was very good. I was very pleased with the service. The individual did come out the following day. His schedule was already booked but he did send out a replacement. That person was equally satisfying as well. The job was done very well. It was timely and clean. The total cost of materials including labor was $368.18 and with Angie’s List discount it came to $331.37. I felt the price was reasonable. I was very satisfied and would use them again in the future.

They were fantastic. They showed up exactly when they said they would show up and did a fantastic job. We were very happy.

Discovered leak due to a poor connection with plastic descaler container. Chris, svc mgr, by-passed the descaler so that I could continue to use hot water while he contacted Noritz to identify a better connectivity solution. Shann came out to implement the solution & performed the work. No more leak! Excellent communication by both men throughout this mini- project. Highly recommend this company.

Shann was friendly, courteous, efficient, & knowledgeable. He cleaned up after doing the work & checked for any leaks or issues before leaving. Very thorough. I felt comfortable having him in my home, like a friend had come over to help me out. l recommend this company to anyone requiring plumbing services.

I figured out I had a broken hot water pipe in the master bath after a week or so of hot water being immediately available even though the water heater is 70 feet away. After demoing my shower, found the leak was under the slab. They came out the day I called them, quoted the job, matched a second quote a few days later saving me a few hundred dollars. Shann knocked it out in about 6 hours and did a great job. All the pipe runs were straight and strapped to every other joist. All of the solder joints were very clean and none needed attention after the water was flowing again. |Very happy with the work performed. Shann was very professional and didn't mind my frequent questions(I'm a DIYer but never done any plumbing). They were willing to compete for the job by adjusting their quote to match another. He didn't want me to have to take more time off work... he stayed till 9 pm replacing that pipe also and then replaced the stopper... he still had one more job to go to and had not even had dinner but he was determined to fix it so I would not be inconvineinced another day!!! Amazing service and for all the work he did I thought the price was ver responsable.

The plumber had to order a special part but got it the next day and completed the work. Very satisfied with the results. Very responsive and professional plumber.

Repairs were done over two visits. First visit occurred on the day I called asking for service. James K quickly did the indoor jobs and then tackled the big job - the outdoor gas lamps. He quickly determined that he need a part for one of the outdoor lamps, requiring a return visit. He did return as promised, and right on time. He completed the repairs on the gas lamps and then checked them all. He then called the next day to make sure I was pleased with their performance. Nice touch!

So far it has been great; they were good and we would recommend them to anyone based on this experience of a month ago.

Replaced kitchen sink faucet. They showed up the same day we called & got the job done quickly.

I have been using them for about 18 years. When you call them, they will most likely be able to come to you the same day. They have a senior discount. They are extremely helpful at telling you if they can help or if they can't. If they can't help you, they will suggest what you need to do, to solve your problem.

James was a true professional fixed my problem and cleaned everything after all in a timely manner.

They were quick and their price was reasonable. The guy showed up on time and was professional. They completed the work in about 5 hours.

James did a great job in identifying the leakage spot. Replaced the broken inferior plastic pipe with a copper one. Gave me some advices on how to dry the wall. Their price is reasonable. Overall I like his services. Thanks!

We recently purchased a home built in 1960 with galvanized pipes that needed to be replaced. The complete process from the proposal to the start of work on through completion was right on and went very well even with a house full of other trades. A few issues I had with the job that are as much as my fault as they are with the plumber included a) not asking them to remove all or as much of the old galvanized piping as possible rather than leave in the walls, b) they didn't replace the pipe to the meter, but did state that it currently had copper, which was better than the new pvc they were going to install (maybe I should have asked for a refund or price reduction), c) the plumber left a ton of cigarette butts around my home, and d) they ran piping over my attic catwalk which my HVAC company says is a safety violation and may need to be fixed in the event I need an HVAC company to work on my furnace. UPDATED 9/25 - I contacted contractor about outstanding issues noted above and was followed up with a meeting this morning. All issues have been satisfied and I happily recommend ER Block to anyone considering plumbing work.

Shann and his colleague worked with dispatch and were able to dug down to the old pipes...quite a ways down....take the old ones out and put in new ones in one day. Shann also installed a safety top so that if the septic tank or line backs up again the overflow will go outside and not in my house. His solution makes me worry less about the messy cleanups I have had in the past.

They were okay. The guy, his name was Jay, was kind of arrogant. But it wasn't until I mentioned about Angie's List that he changed his attitude. He apologized when he came. He called because he said he was on his way. I was scheduled for a 9 o'clock appointment. He called at 9 o'clock and said "Well, I'm not going to be there until within the next hour or two because I stopped by to pick up the supplies. It's like he had an attitude problem. I didn't think they would bring that attitude with them which he did. Until I told him I have a coupon for the Angie's List, and he got fine, pleasant and friendly then. I wonder what he said back then because he kind of came in with an attitude and all of a sudden he came in with the right attitude. I think it has to do with Angie's List. The quality when it came to the repair, he said it was something else. It doesn't have to do with the pressure gauge. He said that he would have to break out to the other side to get in to the pipe and he wouldn't repair the drywall. He said it's going to be broken too. He would only work with the plumbing and my house needs a repair for a replacement part. It's just the faucet and shower part. It's a part that I pulled out. It started with the tub and I already hit the shower running. The faucet is a separate piece. He wanted to change it. He pulled it from the front end and pulled out from the top. He said if I would use it for about two weeks and it's clear, I don't have a problem with it. It means that it's okay. There's another part of the wall that needed to be broken from the kitchen through the shower. He got here and he didn't show up on time as scheduled.
