Will NEVER use this company again for ANYTHING! Technicians that did the work were great and very professional! However, Greg Ross is very unprofessional and rude! He even hung up on us during a conversations with him today, 5/5. We had ER Block replace a section of the main sewer line in April of 2015. We discovered this past winter (2017) that they did not back fill the trench correctly. During the hard rains these past months (that never came last year) the area sunk about 12 inches in places. It also damaged a retaining wall (that we have to repair ourselves!) located near the area. We had to argue to get them to agree to fix the cave in which was obviously from them not back filling the trench correctly. Finally Greg's son David scheduled to come on May 5th, 2017 to fill the trench with DG. At 10:15 a.m. Greg was called to see what time they would be at our house. My husband was told David was in Utah and had the only truck that could preform this work. Greg did not know why his son would have scheduled this since his trip to UT had been scheduled for 6 months. He could not give us a future date as to when this service would be preformed and said he would call us back either next Monday or Tuesday. I then called Greg to explained this work needs to be completed and we have been very patient, waiting for 3 months. Greg told me he did not need to listen to me complain to him and that he was doing us a favor by filling in this trench area. He then hung up on me! Needless to say we were shocked that an owner of a company would hang up on a customer, again this is very unprofessional and rude.

Service Technician arrived on time and well equipped - was courteous and efficient - pleasantly reviewed the situation and provided future recommendations for prevention and maintenance of the sewer line. 10% Angie's Member discount provided and business accepts credit card.

What I appreciate is when somebody is here on time who knows what they are doing and get's the work done in a timely manner and cleans up whatever issues that you know any messes that there are so you know I really appreciate it that they took care of something that was kind of critical for us and very definitely much more professional than the previous people that were sent out.

The communication was great, the technical contacted me few minutes after I requested the dispatch. He arrived on time and was very professional , explained and discussed with me how was the best way and location to accommodate the system. He was very careful and paid attention to the details. When I initally called ER Block Plumbing, I did not mention I used Angies List. They were honest and gave me a fair estimate. I called a competitor before calling ER Block Plumbing, and they attempted to chage me $70 more for labor & $20 more for parts. This company is honest The plumber who came out to my home was professional & fixed the problem quickly. I would call again & recommend this company to others.

Over the last three or four years we had spent close to two thousand dollars on plumbers trying to keep our sewer drain lines permanently open. But to no avail. They ran cameras through the old clay and cast iron pipes from the street into the house as far as they could and until Mike from E.R. Block conducted the same camera investigations did we have a clear solution. Mike was able to determine that some of the old clay sewer pipes were actually coming apart at some of the joints. After determining that the most effective approach in terms of cost and time was to go under our raised foundation house and cut away all of the existing cast iron and galvanized sewage pipes, leave the old pipes in the ground and replace them with new ABS pipes. This was no small task since there is not much room under the house! But Mike determined that with some excavation there would be enough room to allow for the right drainage pitch. So he quickly planned out the project, purchased the materials and jumped right in. In addition to all of the under house efforts he also had to dig up and expose several sections of the clay sewer pipes outside of the house foundation and determine where to go under the foundation to connect to the existing sewer line. No easy task since the pipe was over four feet down! But in the process he determined that there was an undiscovered section of clay pipe that had broken and would have eventually collapsed. This section was replaced. Also in the process of removing the drainage lines from under the kitchen Mike discovered that they were almost completely plugged with sixty years of old grease and crud. My wife is extremely ill suffering from cancer and kidney failure and Mike being the kind of man he is worked tirelessly from early morning until late in the day for three days to complete the job as quickly as possible. He did a GREAT job! All drains are working perfectly now.

I was not in town, Mike from ER Block troubleshot the problem of toilets repeatedly blocking up after a couple months of fixing. Discovered broken sewer lines. Replaced the sewer lines and then fixed 2 additional toilets whose flappers weren't working. He was EXCELLENT with my tenants, and was overly patient with a problem tenant. My water bill was increasing monthly and I had no idea why. All the tenants said that they had no leaks. Mike fixed that with the toilets and now my water bill has dropped significantly!!

I used Angie's List service to try to schedule a faucet installation with this company, and the person who responded to my inquiries said that a plumber would be told to call me on Monday (today) A.M. No call, and no reply to my message at 11:00 A.M. to remind the company that I was waiting for a call. I can't give any sort of high marks to this firm for anything.

Mike came out very quickly to fix the leak in my toilet. Since he was already here, I had him clean out the slow moving drain in my sink. Later that night I noticed a small leak under the drain he had cleared out. When I called the next morning, he lost no time coming over to fix it. It just needed a little tightening. I was so happy with the company's quick responses and how they fix problems, I decided to have him replace the water supply lines under two sinks and replace the main water shut-off to the house. I had gotten an estimate the year before from another company, but it was way more then I wanted to pay. Mike's estimate was about half the price. Cheaper isn't always better, but 5 months later and everything is working great. This is the company I will be calling for plumbing from now on.

They were very responsive; scheduled us in immediately after we contacted them. James showed up promptly. The old kitchen faucet was stuck because of a nut that rusted into place. The job took much longer than expected. James still ended up charging us only for one hour, when it took him close to two. He was excellent: very competent and friendly. I know who I will call for future plumbing needs. Thank you.
