called them at 08:00 and they were here by 10:00. I had a handyman do some work for me, new kitchen faucet and reconnect my dishwasher. Lets just say the handy man did a poor job. The plumber from ER Block Plumbing was excellent and fixed the issue's created by the handyman. Now the dishwasher drains properly. The service was fantastic and the plumber was professional and courteous.

The quickest and most professional plumbing service that i've used thus far! The only problem is that they dont warranty drain work which was disappointing.

We noticed the laminate floor in our living room looked like it was warping or bubbling on President's Day, Feb. 16. We opened the cubby hole under our stairway and immediately saw the cement was wet and everything smelled musty. We initially called American Home Shield, our home warranty provider and they scheduled Rite-Away Plumbing to come out on Wednesday to give us a quote. I went online to check Rite-Away's reviews and ratings and was very upset by what I saw. There was over 150 terrible reviews of this company's service! We felt trapped, because if we didn't use them, we voided the warranty. So, we let them come out but had decided ahead of time that we would get a competitive bid. The first two guys they sent couldn't even do anything except look at the same things we saw, even though we had told the company that it was most likely a pipe leak in the slab. We had to wait another day for their leak detection guy to come out. He determined the leak was somewhere behind our washer, but in the slab, and the price would be $2400 to re-route the piping, less $500 the warranty would pay. I had already called ER Block by this time, so my husband told Rite-Away that we would let them know our decision by the end of the week. ER Block came out Friday morning, assessed the problem, also determining the leak was somewhere in the floor behind the washer, gave us a quote of $1500 and said he could do the work that day. His solution was similar to what Rite-Away proposed, but was more comprehensive because of the direct connection from the hot water heater to the half-bath as well as the ceiling pipe for the rest of the house. We went ahead with the work for two reasons: 1) the price was $400 less than the warranty provider, and 2) most importantly, we trusted that they would do a better job because of all of the reviews I saw on Angie's List. They even went ahead and fixed our loose faucet in the kitchen for no charge! We would definitely hire ER Block again.

I had a pressure regulator fail and water was leaking through the safety valve on the water heater. I called ER Block plumbing based on two things: Angies List rating and location close to me. Jim came out the same day and replaced the pressure regulator on the main water supply line, adjusted pressure and leak tested the system. Parts, labor taxes and all was $290. Not bad for such professional and prompt service.

They came out when they said they would! We have a duplex and one has a new stove, the other unit was getting the older stove. The other unit was not getting gas to the heater or the stove. He was able to get it working and made sure all of the units were functioning properly. He even came back when we got the right hose size for the new stove to make sure it was connected properly.

Very good company no problems at all responded quickly

In August, I was informed by my tenants that the flooring was warping due to moisture coming from beneath the floor. I called ER Block Plumbing to assist with identifying the problem. The tenants advised that the technician did a visual inspection, after which the tech called me and advised that there was a slab leak. I was charged $150 and no estimate was given for what would be needed to repair the problem. I told my insurance company that I had a slab leak at the property and they later sent out their own company for leak detection. No slab leak was found. They used leak detection equipment. The moisture was coming from a leaking AC line and running along the wall and under the flooring. The AC line has been repaired and the flooring and drywall replaced. This occurred in August and to date there have been no more issues with moisture which indicates there is clearly no slab leak. Had the insurance company not required their own assessment of the problem, I would have pursued a costly repair of a problem that doesn't exist.

I had a very good experience with ER Block Plumbing. Chris was super-responsive when I called to get a ballpark estimate & see if they did the kind of work I was looking for. I emailed a photo of my laundry room to Chris and he responded 5 minutes later with advice on how to proceed. He booked me for a Friday installation as requested (the washer dryer was due to arrive on Thursday). Chris also immediately sent me a copy of the company's current business license & proof of insurance when I asked. (For some reason if you click the Better Business Bureau's link on Angie's List it says that the company is no longer in business. This is incorrect!) The great service continued on Thursday afternoon when they had an unexpected opening and Mike called me to see if the washer-dryer had arrived yet (it did!) and if I wanted to have it installed early before Friday (I did!) :) Mike came out and got the job done. I have a 70 year old house and Mike was careful with the old water & gas pipes and worked to get things set up to accommodate a stacked washer/dryer unit. (He extended the gas line 6 feet to the other side of the laundry room and improved the drain.) Mike even pro-actively improved the vent set-up we had, and trimmed the protruding vent sleeve so that we had more room in the laundry-room & were able to fit our laundry cart next to the washer-dryer (something we really hoped to do.) We received a 10% discount and it was clear that ER Block Plumbing goes the extra mile to ensure Angie's List customers are happy. I will definitely call them again should we need plumbing services!

A tenant reported that their kitchen sink was clogged. I called and they had someone out within a few hours. Sink was repaired in a shirt time. Only hiccup was in getting a copy of the receipt. I had to call the next day and have it emailed to me... Took 2 calls to finally get it.

He was able to open it back up. It went fine, he did what he said and didn't try to add any additional charges.They were prompt and actually earlier than I expected .

Showed up on time every day, did an excellent job! So happy with James the plumber doing the work and Chris the estimator. They did everything they said they would do, ontime & on budget. In fact I had them come back out today to fix some minor things that I goofed on. They are super responsive and super reasonably priced! I had 4 bids before we went with them a few weeks ago. Will never try and find a new plumber again! So happy!! :-) Shawn

James from ER Block Plumbing was very professional in his approach in communicating with me, letting me know exactly what he found wrong with the job previously performed by other plumber. James was very friendly, kind and courteous. He came in and quickly found out what needed to be done; he did an excellent job and I was very happy with it. The first company I called that had a live person answer the call during Business Hours posted, Outstanding customer service from beginning to end! I called in the morning and with in a couple of hours Chris had already been by and had a very reasonable estimate for me. The convenience of being away at work but having the work done at home was better than I had hoped for and so by the time I had arrived home James had completed the work.I was so satisfied with the repair that I asked about installing a garbage disposal that was hard wired in as opposed to the plug in type that I could have done myself. Not only did I have a reasonable estimate on that but it was pointed out that my dishwasher was improperly draining due to a pinched line. It was clearly an issue I did not know I had until I had cleared out everything under the sink and realized he was absolutely correct! James came by the next evening and installed the disposal and repaired the dishwasher line. I couldn't have asked for better service! I have now found a plumbing company that I can trust to come out and do the job in a timely, professional and reasonably priced manner. I have already recommended them to several people I know.

So this simple job actually took two visits, because the first plumber they sent out said the faucet we purchased from Lowes (a Moen) was designed for a two hole sink and could not be used with our four hole sink. I was not at home, but my wife had him call me at work and I told him that the box clearly stated that it could be used with a four hole sink either by using the enclosed plate or standard hole plugs - but the first guy left without installing the faucet. To be honest, I was never clear why he didn't complete the job. So I was frustrated when I had to call the owners, but they were quite responsive - and not defensive - and they apologized for my inconvenience and sent another plumber the next business day - Ted. This time I arranged it so I could be present. Ted was outstanding. Polite, personable, knowledgeable, professional. He walked in and had no trouble completing the job. Before he left, he also gave me some care and maintenance tips. So the bottom line - this experience did not go without a hitch- there was a hitch. But the company responded quickly and appropriately when I reported my concerns. I don't want to trash the first guy - the best thing I could say is that he and I obviously did not communicate effectively. Stuff happens. But it is what the company did when we hit that snag that leaves me with a positive impression combined with the excellent plumber the eventually sent. Ted is absolutely great. I have used this company once before. I will used them again.

James and Sean came out to do some work for me three times this year and I was very happy with what they both did. On Monday and Tuesday of March 10-11 James move the water heater and installed a pipe, put in numerous bathroom fixtures, fixed a toilet and moved another toilet. Sean came out Friday, April 11 and installed a faucet in the kitchen. James came out a week later and finished off the install of the toilet downstairs. They're both highly professional, extremely courteous, and did excellent work. Very satisfied.

They were excellent. They were very professional. They came in and did what they needed to do. They answered all my questions. They were friendly. They were efficient. They did what they were supposed to do. I didn't have any problems with my bathroom or my faucet or anything in my kitchen. They did a great job. It went very well.

While attempting to change out the decorative pieces to my bathroom faucet fixture, the water lines came out of place underneath the sink and I was unable to put it back together. That was the initial reason for contacting E.R. Block but then water began leaking from the water supply line under the kitchen sink so the call became more urgent. E. R. Block responded very quickly after my initial contact through Angie's list and after phone calls. James came out and completed the job in a timely manner. E. R. Block staff was very professional, friendly and polite. Their rates were very reasonable. But best of all, for the first time ever, I did not feel taken advantage of and lied to about the job and what it would involve to complete the job which has always been my experience with every plumber I have ever dealt with. E.R. Block will be the plumber I will use from now and will refer to people I know.

We've had a snake stuck in our roof for the last two days trying to get it out. I got on Angie's list and found them read the reviews and called up not expecting anyone to answer. They had someone out to us in 30minutes. Unfortunately, he was not able to get the snake out but was able to tell us different option to fix it. He was honest and full of solutions.

They arrived on time and were very courteous. So far the work seems to be holding up just fine.

When I say broken, I mean that my husband (who was just released from the hospital for CHF complications) fell on the ADA toilet and broke the tank. Water everywhere. Husband OK. This was early, about 7:00 am today. I called ER Block and we spoke about the problem. The phone call was professional and understanding. I chose the more expensive ADA toilet which accounts for the cost (labor was only $144 for an hour-plus work. James came the same morning with our ADA toilet and went to work. He was professional and quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend ER Block Plumbing to everyone!!

They were fantastic. We used Sean and next time we need anything we will definitely ask for him again. He was polite and professional. We were really happy with what he did.

I learned about hard water descaling devices during my internet searches and wondered if they were suitable for my home hard water situation. I hopped on Angie's List and found ER Block Plumbing. Greg got right back to me. I posed the question of the hard water descaler to him. He was familiar with the method and told me he had installed several of them around the city. He gave me a name brand to look for. I found one online which I purchased, had an electrical outlet installed in my hot water heater cabinet, and scheduled an appointment with ER Block for the install of the descaler. The plumber who was assigned called me to confirm his arrival, then called me when he got closer to the time to give me an update on his actual arrival. He already knew that he was going to have to add a "loop" to my cold water intake for the hot water heater and added that before he did the install of the water descaler, which I could have done myself, and Greg told me that upfront during our first phone call but I told him I knew there was not enough room at the main entry point to the house or the hot water heater, which is why the need for the plumber. Job took very little time, the plumber was a courteous gentleman, and very neat with respect to the work he had to do. I was very pleased with service and price. Definitely will engage ER Block plumbing any time I have plumbing needs.

It was kind of after hours. He's very good and very professional. He also fixed the problem and gave me some pointers and it was just excellent. I thought that the price was fair but I had nothing to compare it to.

ER Block Plumbing did a wonderful job which I was happy with. I called them in earlier this month. I had a big job that needed to be done. I had a leaking hot water pipe underneath the dryer. He had to dig up the cement underneath the dryer to get to fix it. He had to put holes in the walls to get to the pipe as I have a concrete floor. The plumber did an amazing job and he was here for 2 days for the total job to be completed as he had to replace the broken leaking pipe and then wrap it properly. He did a professional job. The person who came for the repair knew exactly what he was doing plus he came with all the tools he required. He came on April 23rd to do the job and the cost of the repair was $836.74 and considering the size if the job I thought he was more then reasonable. He also explained everything to us which was excellent If I have another plumbing problem then I would call them plus would recommend them to everyone
