Description of Work: I called them to repair a loose handle on my oven. The day after the guy showed up I opened the oven and it was broken again. I called back and he said the company was no longer making them and that he would try to find one elsewhere. Months later, still no response, not even to come back and see if he could repair it in some other way. I paid $155.00 and called back to get my money back. I was told that the initial $75 "consult" charge could not be returned, but they agreed to send me the other $80 back. That was over 6 weeks ago and I have to call them AGAIN to get this amount back. I feel totally ripped off and I will never use this company again.

Inspected washer and replaced broken lid switch. Also checked clutch to made sure not slipping. He then asked if he could Check dryer vent for lint build-up, HVAC filter & condenser since I paid for an hour of labor & he had time left.

The repair technician arrived in the time window given, diagnosed the problem with my Kitchenaid DW within minutes and determined my circuit board was faulty and needed to be replaced ( It was visually black - fried). Since the DW was 13 years old I made the decision to buy a new one based on the guesstimated to fix it. I discussed with Matt his experience with repairs of different brand name DWs and which in his opinion were the best. I also consulted with the latest issue of Consumer Reports and decided to take Matt's advise and buy one of the three brand names requiring the fewest repairs we talked about.. The advise gathered from our discussion was well worth the $75 service call. Thank you Matt. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

Im sorry I told the story above and to say the least I was very dissapointed. The technician from UR was professional and did a good job of dictacting what was wrong with the dryer. But contacting the contractor, eventhough it was explained to me it will be a 50/50 chance that it could be fixed, not that they were not making parts for that particular manufacturer and I should have gotten a refund for the 100 dollars
Description of Work: There was no service performed, after finding the problem I was then told that they did not make the part to repair the item. So I was given a second option to have a contacter look at the part for a fee of $100 and see if they would be able to fix the part that was broken. I was then informed the next day that the parts to fix the board was no longer available to buy. So therefore I was out of $100 dollars when I felt that this should have been established with the contractor before I paid the fee that they do not make parts for that particular brand of dryer. Had the Technician verified first with the contractor if they had parts to repair the circut board, and after getting that confirmation then tell me he has all the parts but its a 50/50 chance that he could repair it and charge me inadvance. I was charged in advance without the repairman checking with the contractor to see if he had everything he needed to give it a try.

Thorough analysis including electrical boards and all components in suspect. Takes great care of the machine and knows his trade very well. Highly recommended for his work.
Description of Work: Dish washer (LG) leak problem. Thorough diagnosis (piece by piece, including electric boards etc). Release valve, seal and cap replaced. Fully fixed the issue.

Matt saved my pocket book once again. The circuit board on my Kitchenaid built in ovens went out. After calling Kitchenaid I discovered that they do not make replacements for my ovens any more which meant I would have to buy new ones. Matt took the board home and told me he would try and repair it. If it did not work he would not charge me. He came today and it worked perfectly! I have used At Ur Service on several occasions and as I explained to Matt, I will never use anyone else. They are more than fairly priced and make sure that the work gets done correctly. I wish I could give them an A+++++++! Thanks Matt

We noticed a defrost issue with our refrigerator which prompted us to utilize our AngiesList membership. "At UR Service" was first listed, close by and had received excellent reviews. Called them at 11:00 am. The technician, Matt, said he could be at our location between 1:30 and 2:00 pm same day. He showed up at 1:38. Already put a smile on my face. Love punctuality! Matt dived right into the repair and after a number of diagnostic tests determined the trouble with thermostat/defrost/heater. He provided a quote for parts and labor which we agreed was fair for the job. He then drove 30 miles away for parts and returned and completed the repair. Total time from start to finish 4 hrs and 15 min. Cost was $265 plus we gave Matt a $20 tip for being prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. We will call Matt again for all our appliance repairs.

Good at diagnosing leak and correcting. Had to replace ice maker production unit. Was very fair on prioce of parts. Came back three times to complete repair. Was always on time.

I was charged a diagnostic fee of $50.00, but there was no diagnotic work done. I provided the repairman with the messages which appeared on my dryer before it went dead. Matt just took my information without looking at my dryer and started looking online for parts. after that, he said parts and service will cost about $400.00. I said I wasn't ready to spend that much money and have to reconsider. he asked me for $50.00 for diagnostic fee and left. I still don't know what is truely wrong with my dryer. I feel regretful to provide that information to him. Wasted $50.00 for nothing. I could've done all that and save $50.00.
Description of Work: My GE Profile Dryer is not working, needed repair man to diagnose the problem. Found thru Angie's list, at UR service. With lots of confident, I contacted them. What a Huge disappointment. Have to find another repairman to do the job right.

However the invoice stated that the Drum needed to be replace due to having a rip inside of drum ( cost of drum $217.00) Thermal Cut off need to be replace due to having a open line to control board ( Thermal Cut off $39.16 ) , and Labor $150.00, $50.00 trip fee goes to final bill if service a 100% by At Ur Service Appliance Repair. Total due 356.84.

Very friendly technician who arrived on time and diagnosed the issue. When he found that the part was nearly $200, he was apologetic, even though that was beyond his control. Once he picked up the part and returned to finish the work, he cleaned up after himself. I was very impressed with his knowledge of appliances and will call him if repairs are needed on other appliances in my home.

I noticed that at the end of each cycle my clothes were coming out soaked in water, 4 weeks later it stopped spinning. I called At UR Service and within a couple of hours I had someone on my door, which I was very happy since it was Sunday. He preceded to check and diagnosed the problem with my washer in minutes, He asked if I wanted a new or a refurbished clutch, gave me a price for both. I went for the new part, he replaced it and runned the washer before he left to showed me how good it would work ( he even leveled the washer and gave me a few tips) he cleaned after himself and that was my experience with AT UR Service. Will definitely call again in the future.

Description of Work: My refrigerator was not working properly it was coming on and off, I knew it was going to die very soon so before that happend I call At UR Service Appliance Repair they were VERY helpful over the phone. We set up an appointment for same day service, they arrived on time (actually 5min early) gave me a cortesy call to make sure it was ok for him to arrive early. He checked and diagnosed and gave me a very acurate estimate. It was my board, he took it out showed me the problem, answered all my questions showed me how much a new board would cost me and gave me the option of going with a new or refurbished board. Since he would be the one fixing the board I feelt really conforatable with his knowlage so I went with a refurbished board. Next day he was back first thing in the morning with my board, put it in and voila! I will call them again for any other problems with any of my appliances. Thanks At UR Service !
