All Counties Fence & Supply

Call the company for a bid on fence. Left a message and they never called back. I moved on to another company, however the work is still pending HOA approval stuff.

My neighbor and I hired All Counties Fence based on reviews given on Angie's List to replace our shared fence and as well the the remainder of my neighbor's fence and most of my existing wood fence.The demo portion of the project resulted in a damaged window screen which they repaired free of charge. The old wood fence pieces were placed in piles on my lawn which resulted in brown spots when the piles were removed. Not sure why they didn't just put the rubble directly into their truck, but they didn't. My neighbor has a swimming pool so he needed to have an automatic closing gate and I decided to have the same type of gate. The initial installation of both gates resulted in gates that would not close and latch on their own. Obviously this was not acceptable so the workers reluctantly repaired both gate mechanisms to close and latch properly; but we were warned that they had to tighten the hinges more than usual to get this to occur. Maybe they should be using better hinges on their installations. Once installed, a portion of my neighbor's fence came apart from the post and had to be repaired. Not sure what they did on the repair, but the fence connection to the posts is causing the posts to bulge in several locations. Other neighbors of ours have vinyl fences but none of them have this bulging issue or gate hinge issue after being installed for several years. My neighbor called All Counties Fence to complain but they have stopped returning his calls since the first repair. Obviously All Counties Fence does not stand behind their craftsmanship or this issue would have never happened. I guess that's what you can expect from the low bidder. It's unfortunate. Because of my experience, I cannot recommend All Counties Fence.

Professional, punctual, would use again.

We were very pleased with the work they performed. It took most of the day to complete the work, remove the old fence and install the new one and repair one of the old gate post on other area. They asked for preferences on which way I wanted the gates to open, planted the back post a little deeper because of the slopping banking and which way I wanted the pointy part of the fence (where the wire twist together). They pretty much cleaned up as the job progressed and when done did a quick walk thur, in short I was very happy, it looked good. I'd use them again, even my neighbor complimented there work.

They came on time as scheduled, and installed our fence. The issue we came across was that they relocated a few sprinklers and it looked like a 5 year old did it, they now stick up about a foot out of the ground and they installed the sprinkler head IN THE CEMENT that the posts are anchored in! So we have no way of removing these sprinklers without tearing out the fence post and having it replaced and re-installed. We contacted them and they came out the next morning which was a SATURDAY and fixed everything! They apologized for the mixup with the sprinklers and our fence looks GREAT!

Very professional, timely, high-quality work and they cleaned up after they were done. They went on to do the fences of 3 neighbors.

They came in a few hundred cheaper than a competitive bid, but what really sold us was the level of expertise they showed during the initial assessment of the job. They came up with recommendations and options that we had never even considered, and the competitor didn't mention. Chris, you are awesome. They showed up on time and got the job done in just over one day, which was only because it rained furiously for about an hour. And, they waited out the storm in their truck--even though we offered them to come in side--and then went right back to work in the mud. The fence turned beautiful. And, they were super helpful in coordinating billing, estimates, and contracts for my neighbor, who shared half of the cost since it is a common fence. That was 3 months ago, and we just had them back out to give us a price on replacing 200 more feet of rusting iron fence.

AC made the initial trip to estimate, and a second trip to ensure that the side with an embankment on a slope could be done. We liked the way we were treated by Rick, who described what the job involved and how it was going to be done. He was also the only estimator who left sample panels for color matching. We briefly delayed signing up with AC to obtain HOA clearance. When we called, AC took care of the paperwork and scheduled us on a timely basis. They also advised us of the arrival time of their crew.. Their crew of 2 was on time and kept us informed as to their work plan for the 3 different sections on 2 days. The side with the embankment and gate proved to be more challenging than was anticipated. We were also surprised at how the gate looked as they were finishing the job. They asked for permission to complete the job, promising that they'd be back to discuss and correct any issue with the gate. The owner of AC and Rick came to see the job for themselves after some email exchanges. They agreed to rebuild our gate and provided a timeframe for that to happen. Rick followed with an email detailing what had been agreed upon. We also took the time to understand their offer, and called Kroy, the fence manufacturer. Their solution is not common but within Kroy's specs. A second crew of 2 took half a day to rebuild our gate. They were also courteous, and asked us to refer our neighbors & friends. We are more than likely to do so, as they have proved to us that customer satisfaction is important to them when they followed through with their service attitude in the rebuild. They did a good job with experienced crew; moreover, we know they'd be around to take our calls in the warranty period.

Chris Barrett prepared a fair and accurate estimate in a timely manner. He was able to quickly adjust the estimate before and during the project per our request. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and ethical. We trusted him to oversee our entire project which included much more than the new fence and gates. Chris was also responsible for the supervision of concrete and landscaping. At the job site, everyone arrived on time, worked hard, cleaned up daily and took great pride in a job well done. The office staff (Ashley & Kim) were equally professional, friendly and courteous. Absolutely everyone we interacted with associated with All Counties Fence and Supply had a positive attitude and exceeded our expectations. Chris was always available to answer any questions and proactive in regards to scheduling requirements. We found Chris Barrett to be a man of his word and runs his company with a high degree of integrity. We highly recommend hiring All Counties Fence and Supply. We will hire them again if we ever move!

Fine. Only complaint is that I asked them to call me with installation date so I could clear rocks and bark in flower beds where they were installing the fence. They did not call and just showed up one day and started installation when I was not even home. My clean up with the rocks and bark was immense after they left.

The gentleman who quoted me the job was thorough and friendly. The quote was competitive. Crew showed up on time and were courteous. The quality of the work was excellent and Bob wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work (which I was). I would and will recommend this company to anyone in need of their services.

Chris came out to quote the project and a start date. The installation looked good except for the LARGE gaps at the bottom of the gates and the latch side of the gates. I called Chris about this he said he would be right out, he never showed up and never called. I paid someone else to fix and adjust the gates. Also while digging the post holes they cut the phone line and I was told they don't cover things like that and I would have to pay for that repair.

Rick, (estimator from All Counties) came out and instpected the work area. He was very thorough. He made mesurements and assessed the job. He was helpful and insightful in discussing the job. He also agreed at a later date after the original bid to re-quote the job based upon a revised scope of work. (I found that after I had removed the old fence the existing galvanized fence posts from the original fence were still is sound condition. Rick made some suggestions as to how I could modify the existing fence posts to be used with the new vinyl fence. This saved the cost of installing new fence posts. With his help I was able to re-use the original posts for the new fence. This reduced the cost of the fence project by approximately $200 ) Rick also worked with me to suggest how I could make repairs to my block wall to correct a defect at one end of the block wall. This defect had to be corrected before the fence was erected. I was able to make the correction to the block wall myself and saved more money there. All Counties Fence was not the lowest bidder on job originally. However, the extra expertise and guidance clearly made up the small difference between them and the low bidder. After all of the prep work was completed Rick scheduled the fence installation promptly. He was able to have a crew out to my house with 7 days. The crew was on time at 8:30 am. They worked quickly and installed the fence straight and true. They answered all of my questions regarding the actual installation and how to make repairs in the future should they be necessary. They were careful about the landscaping in the vicinity of the fence. They cleamed up the area after they were done and went over the installation with me before they left. All in all a good job.

even though we ultimately chose another company, all counties was on time, very courteous and offered a great price to replace the fences. i would definitely consider them for future work that still needs to be done.

Provided quote on time. They came on time on the date scheduled for the installation and did an excellent job which they complete per schedule and cleaned up after their work was completed. Very polite and superb work!

All Counties Fence & Supply was professional through and through. Not only was the estimator on time and professional, but the quote was at least $1000.00 cheaper than other quotes and the quoted time was one day instead of 2. The workers showed up and completed the work as scheduled, and left almost no debris. There were some wood shavings, and possibly 2 screws left, but I was impressed. The workers had mentioned that because my soil was so rocky that they could not use the machine to dig a trench that they typically use and had to do it by hand. However, they still completed the work in about 8 hours, and the new fence looks great. I split the cost with a neighbor. The total fencing length was approximately 60ft, including the gates. I would definitely hire them again for future fencing needs.

I called three companies for bids. Two responded and All Counties' was the lower bid by a large margin. Rick was my contact at the company. I asked him for addresses nearby where All Counties had installed vinyl fences and he sent me several. I went to look at them and they all looked good. Rick was very patient with the process of getting homeowners' association approval and provided a drawing to include in the paperwork. He also offered to split the job into three separate contracts for me and my neighbors, with whom I was sharing the cost. The workmen arrived at the agreed upon time, and worked quickly and efficiently. They did one fence per day and finished on time. They build the fences from prefabricated parts and they went up very quickly. They also did very nice custom work to build the gates. They were careful of the landscaping and cleaned up after themselves, leaving the site neat and clean. I was happy with all aspects of the job. There were no surprises. They did exactly what they promised and were very pleasant to work with. This was my best experience ever with a contractor and I would definitely use them again.

We called all counties to inquire about have two gates built and approximately 100 feet of chain link fence installed. Bob came as scheduled on saturday morning and seemed like a knowledgable guy. He said he would email me the following Monday with an estimate. Monday came and went with no contact. A week later I called to ask what was going on. I was assured bob would call back. Well several more messages passed but no bob or contact from anyone else at the company. Just a complete lack of professionalism. I wouldn't let them do,work for free at this point.

We didn't have any problems at all. The person who came out to give an estimate was a good person. They came out on the day they said they would. They were done within the same day. They didn't estimate one part of the gate that needed to be done so it was unfinished. It wasn't anyone's fault but they knocked off a couple hundred dollars. They sent us an invoice and we mailed them a check., there was no pressure. They did a good job and it was overall a good experience.

They guy came out and looked at it. He got the information and gave me a quote right away and his quote was very clear. He answered my questions and followed up. I would recommend him.

Chris arrived to provide me with an estimate for a new chain link fence. Upon arrival he noticed my swimming pool and stated that not only did I need 6 foot fencing, but that the standard 2 1/2 chain link fence would not be to code. Chris stated that if I wanted to meet code I would need the smaller 1 1/4 inch chain link which due to the increased material to produce the fence, would cost more than the standard 2 1/2 inch material. He then provided me with other options which included the beautiful white Ultraguard Vinyl fence which I did select. Chris's son arrived as scheduled and removed my old fencing. The new fence was installed and I couldn't be happier with the results. Chris had also left me with an estimate to replace another 262 feet of fencing. I'm so pleased with the results that I intend to add about another 100 feet to finish it all off.

I got bids from three different companies. They came out when they said they would. My husband dealt with them and he didn’t say anything bad about them. We might use them.

We received the estimate the same day they came out to measure.

Rick and his team did a fantastic job. His crew knew exactly what they were doing and my new fence looks great. I've recommended them to 2 people who's fence also go destroyed during the windstorms. I highly recommend anyone who needs fence repair or fence replacement to hire these guys.

They were really good. They got the estimate to me right away. Bob is very personable!
