Phone Jack Medic

Anthony was absolutely fantastic. I was hesitant about having someone come in a run network cables in the attic and walls for me because it's something I can be picky about. We just moved into a new home so I wanted to make sure that CAT6 cables would be setup for my home network. Anthony came in, scoped out the job, gave me some tips on some things that we might do to make the job a little less expensive from a network hardware perspective. He went through and did a great professional job. He switched my existing wall plates being used for satellite TV in all four rooms with a modular wall plate so he didn't need to make additional holes in the wall. He went through and tested and labeled each one of the lines and jacks in the closet and the rooms. When he was done he offered to help me out installing a TV wall cable management kit that I had purchased for my wall-mounted television. That was unexpected and so greatly appreciated. If you're looking for someone to do phone jacks, or network cables then this is the guy you need to use. I just cannot express how happy I was with my decision on using this service.

Called Anthony on July 3rd at 8am and asked for a quote on my project. He was finishing a job but came by a couple of hours later to assess the installation. We agreed on a price that was more than I had expected, but thought would be fair if he did a good job. He did (and yes, I checked his work in the attic and under the house -- learned the hard way from a previous contractor). I'm happy to pay well for good work, and I'm glad I wasn't disappointed. The job took two days. He was professional, personable, cleaned up after himself, and came back to my house to drop off patch cables. He's a first-class network technician and I'd hire him again.

I was told by my DSL company that there was some interference on my line that was causing slow speed. They told me to talk to the phone company to come out and see what they could do. I checked Angie?s List first and saw that Anthony had almost a hundred positive reviews and all of the other guys weren?t even close to that. I called him and he came out the next day since he was in the area. It was 5:30PM when he headed over and he had to fight rush hour traffic (LAX to Pasadena!), AFTER BUSINESS HOURS, to look at my lines. Anthony has the best attitude of customer service that I?ve ever seen. He solves problems right the first time, uses premium equipment, and won?t stop until he has done everything he can for the customer. His philosophy about equipment is great: he uses the best quality equipment because it lasts the longest. In my case, he could have done an easy phone jack replacement and left, but he tested every part of my phone line through my condo complex to increase my DSL speed. He replaced my older lines with faster connections and sealed up part of the line that may have been causing interference. I got an excellent bump in speed after he was done. He also talked me through each step so that I understood what he was doing and what diagnostic checks he was running. He is very meticulous and very thorough ? he is the consummate problem-solver. He left my phone lines and wall jack in far better shape than when he arrived. Despite being after business hours and despite the fact that he was missing his dinner, he only charged me for his time, not for his supplies. I would absolutely have him out again if I ever have any problems. He would be my first call and I hope you give him a call ? he is absolutely the best.

Came very promptly; efficiently fixed both problematic jacks. Our DSL speed immediately returned to the level we were paying for.

Very impressed by Anthony's work. Honest, professional, reliable. He seriously goes above and beyond his call of duty. Cleaned up well, very good at communicating, and is very hard working.

It went well. Marchant found that the existing wiring pair was close to being faulty, so he used another wiring pair in the same loom. He replaced the DSL filter at the junction box, and stripped out a lot of unnecessary wiring in that box. He removed the splitter which was jammed, and replaced the interior wall outlet for good measure as it was over 30 years old. So everything is now shipshape with my phone/DSL wiring. My maximum DSL speed will not be limited by my home wiring. Oh, and it turns out the that the DSL problem was with the provider at their central office.

Explained things, offered solutions, made suggestions, and advised me on how to deal with the telephone company when they came to connect the out side service. Fixed several old plugs and checked out existing inside lines. Very nice personality and pleasent to deal with. I would recommend Anothney very highly for telephone work

I needed a phone technician to get my DSL up and running. I was able to get an appointment with Anthony on pretty short notice. He was late but that was due to traffic since he travels from quite a distance. He was very knowledgeable and got my wiring issue resolved so that I could connect to the internet (since DSL Extreme was ALREADY CHARGING me for the service even though the wiring wasn't hooked up!) and even offered to text me when he was going to be back in the area and could move that phone jack to the dining room. (Who wants a modem and router sitting on the kitchen counter?!) About 3 weeks later he texted me and came out and moved the jack for a reasonable price and even contacted me later that night (on his birthday, no less!) to make sure everything was working ok. I cannot remember how much the charge was.

They added multiple phone jacks throughout my business. They did a great job.

Our experience was great. We called Phone Jack Medic with no expectation that they would be available as soon as the next day (we had initially tried to have this work performed by ATT, but had too many scheduling conflicts). Anthony and his assistant were running a little late the morning we had scheduled, but they let us know in advance, and they were only delayed by about an hour. As soon as they arrived we expplained what we needed done and showed them where everything was and they went right to work. I think they had completed all the work in under an hour. Everyhting works just as we had hoped (even better actually). The best part was being spared the many hours we would have wasted trying to figure it out ourselves and still not figuring it out!

Technician was on time, knowledgeably, and resolved issue in a timely manner.

Phone Jack Medic (Anthony) moved our existing phones and T-1 line to our new building and then came back later once an addition was completed and ready to be wired. Anthony was so nice and helpful. Very conscientious. He made sure everything was tidy and well organized. He stayed late when we had some problems with the phone company and made sure we were up and running once that problem was resolved. He is our go to guy now for networking and phones. By the time we were all done, Anthony was like a member of the family. He is a genuinely kind person. Everyone at our company really liked him. There were no Do's and Don't. We talked to Anthony with respect and received respect back. That was it. That approach can work miracles.

he went above & beyond for us. he went out of his way and found us the best phone system that met our needs. he rewired our lines and installed the new system. he's honest, hard working & good at his job.

I called Anthony to have a networking problem fixed. The hardwired ethernet lines in my home were not working like i thought they were supposed to. Anthony suspected the problem could be remedied by purchasing a gigabit network switch from Fry's for about $50.00. I didn't know what a gigabit switch was but he explained it to me and gave me instructions over the phone. He saved me the cost of the service call and he didn't make a dime from the transaction but he has earned a loyal customer. I will use him the next time I have the need and will recommend him as often as I can

We recently had work done on our floors. I noticed one of the phone jacks was not working properly after the workers left. Turns out several of the phone jacks were not working properly. I called Anthony and while he explained he would not be able to come out for a couple days, after we spoke and I described my issue he said he could squeeze me in somehow the next day. Anthony arrived a little late due to the fact he was crossing the valley at 430 in the afternoon. He quickly checked out the 3 jacks that were having issues and determined that new jacks were all I would need. He quickly tested the lines from the jacks to the main phone box outside and was able to get us back up and running in no time. Great guy and I will recommend him in the future

Anthony was a pleasure to deal with. I initially called him on Wednesday night and he immediately responded with an appointment scheduled for Friday morning (my choice). He was early, which was great as I had to be at work that morning. He was professional and personable. After explaining what my electrician has done, Anthony took a look and within minutes I had an ethernet connection that had eluded my electrician for a week. Anthony is a specialist with all the appropriate tools and connections at the ready. He treated me and my home with the utmost respect and I would surely use him again.

I called Phone Jack Medic for 2 issues: the urgent issue was that my phone service (ATT uVerse) wasn't working, the less-urgent issue was that I had a broken jack that I wanted to fix so that I could have a phone extension in the bedroom. Anthony fixed both issues (including calling ATT and talking them through my problem). As per his advice, we relocated my uVerse moden to the new jack so that my wifi reaches my backyard better. Very happy with his work.

He was very good at potting the problem - he immediatly saw that there was a critter chewing my wires - so he repaired and he re-enforced the wriing to protect it from critters in the future.

The day of the job he came early and worked along with the phone company tech. to install the T1 line He followed up next day to be sure we were satisfied. An excellent service technical company. Service was impecable.

He went above and beyond the call of duty and coordinated efforts with 2 phone copmpanies and my staff.In addition to a weekday service cal he also came in on a Sunday so that phone service would be up and running for our Monday workday! He was very professional and polite on the first phone call to discuss the project. He was truthful and realistic on his timeline for availability. He provided a follow up call to schedule the work and was on time and prepared for the work. He did an excellent job of Tying in the new location wres and keeping them active until the phone company did their work. He made sure the wires were properly run and secured. His price was more than fair, considering the tough access issues and the hard work required. Great job abd thank you!

As stated in earlier reviews. LOOK NO FURTHER if you are in need of repairing, adding or diagnosing any issues with your phone wiring or systems. Anthony was extremely professional, on time, competitively priced for services and takes great pride in his craftsmanship and work. AL does not give me enough space to say exactly how wonderful the experience was working with Anthony. I called him at 3:30 on a Friday and was only expecting to set an appointment for the following week, he made it a point to come that same day and resolve my wiring problem and getting my home business back up and running. Incredible, I really can?t say enough good things about him and the service.
