Anthony is the best! we had miles of old phone wiring, outside and inside, from decades of changes, including no-longer-used DSL lines. He diagnosed the entire system -- suggested what we needed to replace and what we should upgrade, and what we could get rid of. beautiful work, left the place neat and clean.

Anthony was ontime, fair and fast. He was able to diagnose what was wrong and get as many phone jacks in the home working as quickly as possible. He was time-efficient and friendly. I'd highly recommend him.

Anthony was very knowledgeable and professional. He had an assistant he was teaching, and both were pleasant and efficient. The job was done without any problems, and a task we had put off for weeks was accomplished quickly. Anthony called us a few days later to check to see if there were any problems. We have had none.

I cant speak to his speed at responding because I cancelled/postponed and rescheduled him 4 times because my schedule was so crazy! He brought a top of the line wireless system out and installed it! He was super fast and knowledgeable and did a great job! I would use him again in a heartbeat...even if I had to wait to get him out...he's worth it!

Anthony did a great job. Despite having to push the job back a couple days from what was initially planned, he was always responsive to emails and text messages. He showed great professionalism, attention to detail, and was extremely courteous (taking off his shoes when coming in the house, etc.). He was also very fair with the price. We would recommend him to anyone.

It all went fine. I emailed Anthony for the original appointment and he got back to me in twenty minutes to set up the appointment. He arrive on time. I explained the problems. He was thorough and business-like and pleasant. He let us know what he needed to do to fix the problems. And, he then fixed the problems. We are completely satisfied and would be pleased to use Anthony again.

Called Anthony and he asked that I text my address and details and we texted back and forth to schedule the service - very efficient. He did the service himself. He arrived on time and was polite and very helpful. He installed CAT6 cable from our back room to our living room by accessing the crawl space under our house. He finished quickly, tested the connectivity and resolved an issue with one of the connectors right away. I would recommend him and use him again.

Anthony is just great. He is innovative and determined to succeed even when it appears impossible. My office had broken Ethernet lines in an old ceiling with fragile tiles. It looked like the connection could not be restored. But Anthony found a way and now it works great. He also happens to be a very nice guy, easy to work with and pretty funny. Give him a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Everything was clean and neat. Mr. Anthony was polite, reliable, careful. I would use him again in a heartbeat. For once Angies list came through for me. Im usually crabby but this guy and his assistant were tops.

Anthony and Otis promptly contacted me and arranged a saturday service call. I showed them the situation in our 1922 house (plaster walls suck for wifi), and where I needed the new ethernet on the second floor and they went right to work. They are very good at what they do. Anthony makes sure you're happy with the wiring approach, that it looks good (when having to wire externally), and that it's made to last. Very professional and personable. I would definitely recommend/use them again.

My project came up on very short notice, and I was concerned that I would not be able to get service as quickly as I would need it. Anthony was able to schedule an appointment the next morning. He arrived an hour late, partly because he was trying to fit me into his schedule, but he did keep me informed via text message. When he and his assistant arrived, they surveyed the situation, came up with two solutions and recommended one that was simple and essentially cost free. He could have given me a fake story to charge more, but he was clear and concise in explaining how they would work. I appreciated the honesty. They were also very conscientious about neatness and cleanliness in my house. Everything is now up and working as needed. I was extremely pleased with the service and would not hesitate to recommend Phone Jack Medic, not only for telephones but ethernet projects.

I called Anthony on the preceding Thursday, I think. He answered right away; I explained where I was and what the problem was. He explained exactly what he was doing between Thursday and Saturday, and scheduled the job on Monday. He said he would call Monday morning to let me know when he would be at the house. He asked me to text him my address and telephone, and I did. Monday he called about 9:30 a.m. to say he'd be there between 11 and 11:30. He arrived right on time. It took him about 10 seconds to figuring out what I needed (I'm not really good at explaining when it comes to computers). He walked around the house and found a cable, asked me if it was okay if he used that one, and I agreed. He then waited to make sure it worked, and it was a good thing, because it didn't. I know he had been hoping to get the job done quickly because I think he had other people waiting on him. But he did not make me feel uncomfortable or bad about the fact that he was going to have to put new cable wiring from one end of my house to the other. He asked if I minded that he string it outside, and I said I didn't. He then proceeded to put up that cable in the fastest time I've ever seen. This time when we checked, the cable worked perfectly. I was really busy when he was here so I didn't even look at how he'd strung the cable around the house. The next morning I looked and I could barely see it. I had to focus for several seconds before I realized it was exactly where he'd said it would be, but while I should have been able to see it easily, it was almost invisible. He was fabulous. Now if only he would learn to repair computers.

Excellent. Anthony relocated our modem to provide better internet speed throughout our house. In addition, he re-wired parts of the house where the old wire was not sufficient and installed new phone jack/cable outlets. He then got rid of all the old, unused wiring alongside the house.

I was asked to help a friend set up a commuter network in the large two story house she had just moved into. The cable company and installed the internet connection into the home and the wireless connections were all functioning. The home had been wired for ethernet, but all of the wiring terminated in a network closet in a switch that I had never seen before. After determining that this network system was an older way of setting up ethernet networks, I decided that it was beyond my capabilities to complete the request. I guess I knew enough to know who to look for to complete the job but I really did not think I would find anyone outside of phone or cable companies who could do the job (or want to do the job). So I felt I was incredibly lucky to find someone like Anthony on Angieslist. He looked like he had experience performing the tasks I thought would need to be done and his stellar reviews on Angieslist indicated he would get the job done, Due to his work load, he was not able to respond immediately, but he contacted me a week later to schedule the job. Even though the location of the job was right on the border of his service area, he was happy to come and help us. Communicating with him was very easy. He was very responsive via text messages, and I was able to coordinate the date/time to start the work with the home owner. He was familiar with the network and what was required to convert it over. Once he saw what the old switch was (66 block) he knew what he would need to replace it. There were some other parts too that would be needed to do the job, so he checked out a few of connections in the wall during that first visit then scheduled a second visit 2 days later to come and install a new switch that he was going to acquire and complete the checkout of the rest of the system. He returned as promised, installed the new switch, connected it the the Time Warner connection, then start to check out the rest of the wired outlets. The home is a two story home so checking each outlet is not an easy task. In checking out the outlets on the second floor, Anthony discovered that there was another old switch up in the attic that needed to be bypassed and he went ahead and took care of this issue, Once the physical wiring was checked and found to be okay, we plugged in all of the network components, but a computer plugged into a wall outlet would not communicate with Time Warnet Internet signal. Since all of the wiring had checked out okay, I was not sure how to proceed. Anthony called up Time Warner tech support, and with their assistance on the phone he determined that the order in which network components were connected was not correct. Once we hooked who up everything as recommended, the system functioned perfectly. Anthony did an outstanding job, I can see now why all of the reviews of his work that I had seen on Angielist were so positive. He gave us a quote up front based in my description of the job on the phone, and even though the job was much bigger than I described, he still only charged a little over the estimate. He knew what was needed to be done to address the immediate needs of converting the network, but he was willing to go beyond that to insure that results were what we were expecting.

This is the third time I've hired Marchant Anthony to run ethernet cable from the router (in the basement) to various rooms in the house. He's timely, professional, does excellent work and even called the next day to make sure the system was working properly. I'd recommend him without reservation.

Marchant picked up when I called him and actually started heading to my house right then and there. He diagnosed the problem with one jack and ordered some external cable. He came back the next day as agreed and replaced the one cable and installed a new jack and new line to a different room two floors below. He worked fast, left the rooms spotless, and most importantly everything worked. Great job all around. He was a great find and I would definitely recommend him to friends who need internet or phone wiring.

Even though I live 60 miles from his LA location, Mr. Anthony came to my residence within a few hours, then diagnosed the location and cause of the problem, and suggested an inexpensive resolution within a few minutes. He was efficient and knowledgeable, and did the job for the price advertised. An outstanding job.

I called Anthony based on all the positive reviews on Angie's List and I am glad I did. I had a whole mess of wires that needed to be cleaned up and Anthony did a great job. I was very nervous to be messing with the phone, alarm, computer and tv wires (hubby wouldn't not be pleased if any of those would be cut/broken) and Anthony knew exactly what he was doing. He proceeded with extreme caution and got the job done perfectly. He even called a couple of days later to be certain everything was working well. Do not hesitate to call this guy if you have any problems with wires.

This guy is the real deal. Highly recommended!! Anthony was very good with appointment and job details relayed via text messages. Once he arrived, on time, he surveyed the job requirements. This was not an easy job since the house had been remolded over the years and access to the exterior eves was not possible. He was forthcoming with his concerns and offered alternatives, all of which provided him no business. His concern was with my problem, not with his business. I felt bad that Anthony had to spend so much time on my job with no resulting work for him, but what an honest guy!

We were very happy with Anthony. We had been struggling with internet dead spots in our home and were frustrated with the limitations of wireless extenders that had been recommended by other tech guys. Anthony's phone and Ethernet expertise was extremely helpful. He ran an Ethernet cable along a corner on the outside of our house to our second floor through a weatherproof pipe and even patched and painted to make it blend in. Now we finally have consistent internet service upstairs! He also activated a phone jack that had been inactive since we moved into the house, so we can finally use our fax machine. Anthony is a busy guy as there are not many like him out there, but he worked hard to fit us in his schedule and even worked into the night to get the job done. Also, Anthony's nephew is his apprentice and he is a good guy, too, and a great helper. They have a good rapport with each other. I would highly recommend them.

Terribly. I received a call from the vendor @ 9AM (his commited arrival time) on Saturday telling me that he was running behind and that it would be at least one hour before he could arrive. He also mentioned that he lived an hour away. I told him not to come and that I'd find someone more reliable. ....and to think I could have slept in on a Saturday morning rather than getting up and being ready for a 9AM appt.

Simply put, Anthony's quality is exceeded only by his care. Anthony was an excellent communicator, and with an obviously full schedule he managed to fit us in for an emergency phone system relocation just days before we started major construction. He respectfully requested some time to fit us in his calendar, but he provided us with regular quality updates and ultimately served our needs. His communication skills gave us a confidence about the quality of his service, and even after completion of our work, he followed up to confirm everything was working properly and to offer additional support. Great guy! We wish all tradesmen were like him. We happily recommend him.
