Anthony is punctual. His prices are very reasonable. The job was perform to our complete satisfaction. I called him to check the nest of telephone wires coming out of the wall of the guest house of our new property, and to wire that guest house for internet and TV. He was able to quickly assess and clearly explain the situation and the various options. When we ran into problem with the cable company installation, he was even on hand to "baby sit" the cable company technician and make sure the installation was done properly on their end, and then took over and finished the job. Anthony was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The various jobs were perform to our complete satisfaction. He was always on time and his price was more than fair for the quality of the services performed. He's the best.

After having a couple trips out by AT&T service reps who wanted to charge very high fees I checked Angie's List and called Anthony. He arrived when he said he would, found and repaired the problem (fuses) immediately. The price he charged was very low and I believe it was because I was a senior citizen. Friendly person and called back several times to check on his work. Haven't had a problem since.

Anthony came by the day after I called him. I have a long, rectangular shaped house. The only phone jack was at one end of the house and I needed the line run to the other end of the house. This involved going into the crawl space to run the wire. He installed a new jack in two bedrooms (which my husband and I use as our respective offices). He also installed an ethernet connection between the two offices. I have the router in my office and my husband was connecting to the internet wirelessly, but the connection was slow. Now, we both have an ethernet jack in the wall so he can plug into the router directly. The phone jack/line in my husband's office was intermittent, so Anthony came back the following day to make sure it was OK. Anthony was professional and courteous and I would highly recommend him.

Marchant came out the following morning after I had contacted him for service scheduling the night before. My wiring problems were caused by faulty wiring and connections from the previous service provider - when DirecTV came out to install a new dish, they tripped the wiring and caused a short which rendered my phones inoperable.Marchant quickly diagnosed the problem through a process of elimination, rewired phone jacks and installed a new junction box to prevent future issues. Marchant had all of the supplies and equipment to do the job.I was really pleased with his work and the quality of his wiring. He upgraded 2 phone jacks and installed one junction box in the attic and made sure things were working properly. Thank you, Marchant! I would expect the phone company would have charged me about $180 to $200 to perform the work that he did.

Anthony (actually his last name, but he uses it as a first name) was great! He came out from San Bernadino to the San Fernando Valley on a Sunday to perform my job. I believe that I paid an extra $25 for having him come that distance on a Sunday, but I had agreed to this on the phone and was happy to get this taken care of during the weekend, not to have to miss my work, etc. He was extremely knowledgable and professional, and did a great job. I would recommend him and would use him for future work

He had to add a phone jack, by crawling under the house. This is a dirty job, but he was cheerful throughout.

Anthony showed up late, but called, which is good. It was raining heavily outside. I assisted him in getting into the attic of my house and into the california basement. He had no problem getting dirty and getting where he needed to go in order to assess the problem. He is honest and charged me fairly. I appreciate that these days. He had the right equipment for the job. I will most certainly call him again. I have some more stuff to fix on my phone line that was improperly installed by someone else. Thanks Anthony for getting me back online.

Overall it went very well. Marchant quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the defective wiring, added a new junction box under the eve, added a connection to allow answering a second phone in my office, and also took care of several other issues. All work was neat and done in a very competent way. Marchant was very professional, friendly, and cooperative. I am extremely happy with the work he performed, and intend to recommend him to several of my friends. I think the amount he charged was very reasonable for the amount of work he did.

After my DSL provider determined that my interior phone wiring was a primary cause of my slow DSL connection, I contacted Marchant Anthony on 12/23/11 to set up an appointment after Christmas. To my amazement, he offered to come out the very next day -- on Christmas Eve, which was also a Saturday. He arrived on Saturday morning, spent over 2 1/2 hours trouble-shooting the phone lines and installing a professional line splitter to give me a dedicated line for my DSL. Having worked for various phone companies for several years, he knows what he's doing and is very, very personable as well. When he charged me only $150 for all the work he had done, I was floored. I will definitely call on him in the future and happily recommend him to my friends.

Perfect experience. He called when he was in route, tested the jacks, fixed the problem from the main box on the house, installed a new plate - all in a few minutes. He was prompt, courteous, and proficient. I love it when someone can fix your problem with no muss, no fuss, and no hassle.

I called Anthony. He came out in about an hour. He was prompt, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I'm very happy with his service and would refer him to others and use him again.

We are having major kitchen and bath renovations on our house. In the process of the work in the walls and attic our phone line went dead. Even worse, we use DSL for our internet so we were without that too. The electrician on our reno said he didn't do low volage/phone lines and I REALLY didn't want to call At&t repair having had a bad experience with them before. I had no idea who to call- checked angies' list and phone jack medic seemed just the ticket! I called and discussed the problem. I had realized by this point that I didn't just want the old jacks fixed- I wanted jacks in different places. On the day of the appointment, he called before the time and let me know he was running late so I wouldn't be sitting around waiting. Once he arrived he got to work with an assistant (he had to run the wiring through the attic and it was one of our really hot days). We have vaulted celings, so our attic has odd angles and narrow spots that they had to run the wire through- not an easy space in awful heat but they didn't complain. We discussed where I wanted the jacks and he kept me informed at every step. One location had to be shifted a couple of feet horizontally because of electrical wiring across the studs so he confirmed it was ok before proceeding. He was very careful to line the jack up with the other nearby outlets so it would look nice. He was also careful to clean up the mess from where the drywall was sawed. Previously we could not use the phone line in our office for our DSL, presumably poor wiring, the modem was in a bedroom. Now our modem is in the office where it belongs and the DSL runs so much better-our down load speeds improved! I am actually glad our phone lines got cut in the reno or I probably would not have bothered to look into new phone lines! On the other hand, his work is so neat that I would not be concerned about having him work on your nice house- no drywall patching or repair needed.

Wonderful. He was here on time and did a truly professional job, even cleaning up some sloppy work done by another as he went along. He also made sure to call in the evening to be sure that everything was working - it was - like a clock. I sincerely recommend this individual. This is the second time we've called on him and we definitely have him on "speed dial" should we need similar work in the future.

Let me get to the bottom line up front: I absolutely recommend Marchant Anthony (Phone Jack Medic). Now the story: We have a pretty active business that runs out of a home office and need access to computers throughtout the house. Unfortunately for us, the particular layout of our home makes the use of wireless somewhat spotty as you move away from the wireless access point. So, we decided to add two lines that will allow us to effectively wire two additional areas of the home. Using Angie's List (as we often do), I called Phone Jack Medic and spoke with Marchant Anthony (who prefers to go by Anthony...). I described the job and he gave me an approximate price to complete the job, subject to site conditions that he would review upon seeing the job. Because of his reviews, and the reasonable estimate that he provided I gave him the go ahead. He said he could come the next day, and I advised that it would be fine within certain time constraints. He advised that he would contact me later in that day, and advise what his calendar looked like the next day. At approx. 9PM, I received a text or phone message (can't remember which) saying he would be there at 7AM the next day. I was fine with that because it was within the time frame that I had given him. I did not call him back, assuming he would be there. Next morning, as 7AM and then 715AM rolled around, and no Anthony, I called him and he said that because he had not heard back from me, he had not come to our home. OK...miscommunication. I probably should have called him back...on the other hand, he probably should have contacted me before 9PM! But he sounded professional and cheerful, so we arranged for him to come in the afternoon. That afternoon, I met Anthony...who greeted me with a smile and a handshake. I described the job to Anthony and his assistant Tony. As I had fully expected, it was a little more involved than he had anticipated due to our admittedly small crawl space and crazy ducting within that crawl space that gets in the way of everything. They reviewed the job, explained how he charged, and I agreed. He then told me he was then on the clock. I appreciated the fact that he priced the job, and then "turned on the clock." They got to work, and effeciently did what they had to do. Wire was strung under the house, and now seems to work just fine. Plates were put in and look fine. The final price was somewhat higher than the estimate (which he had done over the phone), but was absolutely fair and reasonable for the job. One thing that helped was that both Anthony and Tony had a great attitude, and despite the crawl space, which was tough to get through, they tackled the job without an "uh-oh" or complaint whatsoever. They also maintained a great sense of humor, and I appreciate working with people like that. My only suggestions/comments to Anthony(and reason for a "B" instead of an "A" on Quality), meant to be constructive: 1. I hate to get too technical with Angie's List, but on something like computer technology, the state-of-the-art changes somewhat rapidly, and a technician --which effectively you are if you are stringing cable -- should have the latest materials. While you did use Cat 5e cable, current state of the art (for the last two years) has been Cat 6 cable, and while we are getting by with Cat 5e that you used, Cat 6 cable would have been better. 2. Anthony did not have a RJ-45 line tester for network cable runs. Anthony said that he was sure everything would work and that I could call if anything was wrong; because of his positive attitude, I took it on faith that he was right (which I don't typically do) , and he ws...but for $50, a testing device that would make clients rest a bit better and reduce potential call backs. Despite these concerns, as I said earlier, I would recommend Marchant Anthony and I will use him again.

I contacted Marchant via Angie's list. He responded immediately via email with a "blind" estimate. Later, we scheduled for him to come out from the Inland Empire to the South Bay on Labor Day weekend for the install. Once at my house, Marchant inspected each of the locations I wanted the cables/connections to be installed and strategized how this would be done. Some of the locations were more problematic than he anticipated when he provided his "blind" estimate, however, Marchant completed the work on budget. The tricky portions of the install included drilling through three cross planks in my wall from the attic to install an outlet in my master bedroom. This required Marchant to buy a longer drill bit for which I was not charged extra. The 2nd tricky area included drilling into the side of my house to access the family room and running the cable behind some thorny rose bushes into my crawl space. Marchant was patient and professional through all of these unforeseen items and completed the tasks in an acceptable manner and on budget. I would recommend Marchant to all those who are looking for similar work to be done as he does his job with pride and more importantly in a very professional manner.

I always wait to post on Angie's list, just to make sure that nothing goes wrong a few months down the road and Anthony's work is still going on strong without any hitches. It's hard to find good quality workmanship from people who care about takeing care of your situation and Anthony is the right guy for the job. Fast, Friendly with the know how and positive attitude to get the job done right the first time you can't fail with using Anthony.

Anthony was terrific. Tremendous expertise and experience in this field and very professional. He responded quickly and was on time and was very reasonably priced. He was quick and efficient with a great personality. I highly recommend hiring him.

As for AT&T - what the heck is a huge corporation doing listed on Angie's list? This list is for small personal businesses, not giant monopolies.

I have a 4-unit apartment building in West Los Angeles. I had several unsightly bundles of wires and cables running up the side of my building, under the eaves, through the garages, around the perimeter of the building, and strewn between the building and the utility pole. Way more than could possibly be active. He tested all the lines, removed inactive wires and cables, and cleaned up and organized those for active services. He also tested all interior jacks in my unit, and established the wiring for my DSL service. Anthony was timely, professional, thorough, and very reasonable. He probably added $5,000 to the value of my building, it looks SO much better! At the end of the job when we were chit-chatting, I learned that he used to work for the phone company. It doesn't get much better than that, and I didn't have to wait around all day for him to show up. :)

Anthony promptly responded to my email within a few hours and setup an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and before starting the job, explained in detail the most efficient way to replace the jack and wiring so I would have clearer phone service and a faster internet connection. Anthony was very knowledge and professional and was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I was so impressed with Anthony's service that not only would I recommend him to anyone needing phone wiring and phone jack repairs but I also gave him a $25 tip.

Anthony was great, emailed him through Angies List on a Saturday, Anthony responded quickly by text stating he would call Sunday eve to see what was needed. Sunday evening he called, set an appointment for Monday. He showed up on time, installed two new phone jacks AND replaced the wiring from the point of service, which included crawling under our house and around a slab floor in the center of the house, this was done because he wanted it to be proper rather than exposed outside the home. It took much less than 1 hour and was only $100.00. I would definitely recommend Anthony to anyone needing phone jacks, lines, CAT 3 or 5 lines, nice guy, great prices and great work.

From the time I called for an estimate to the completion of the job, I have never experienced a more professional and personable workman. Merchant. knew what he was doing. He worked cleanly and quickly. He followed up with a phone call after the job was done to make sure the computers were working. Use this man and you will be very happy. His price was low and the work of the highest quality. A pleasure to have in my house.

I called Marchant on a Friday evening expecting to leave a voice message. I was pleasantly surprised to hear his voice. We arranged for him to come by on a Tuesday evening. He did tell me he had jobs that were far away from where I lived so he might be a little late. This was fine by me since weekdays are always hectic. Marchant called me and let me know he would be a little later than planned and when he arrived he was very polite and courteous and got to work right away. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem with my three jacks in about 30 minutes. He guaranteed his services which gave me peace of mind. His rates were reasonable and I would definitely use him again should I ever need phone wiring service again.

Went fine once he was here but he came about 2 hours late. He did try to call to inform that he was running late, and blamed traffic.
