Phone Jack Medic

I wasn't exactly sure how to achieve what I wanted, given that there were some ethernet lines and jacks already installed in the house, but with Anthony we were able to figure it all out, and now the whole building is lightning fast. He's a very nice and knowledgeable guy who takes pride in his work, and went above and beyond the call of duty by coming out when we needed him on the weekend.

My DSL service had been very spotty over the past week but had totally failed this morning. I quickly called up Marchant based upon Angie's List reviews and he was able to come very quickly, within 30 minutes of my call prior to another appointment! When he arrived, he asked about the particulars of the home and number of phone installations and we then visited the NID box outside. He noted that the DSL signal may be interfering with an alarm system I had installed that was improperly wired. He disconnected the alarm service wiring from the DSL service line and we then re-tested the DSL modem / router connection to determine the fix was successful. He also reconnected the alarm system wiring properly. I'm still up and running hours after the appointment and with better connectivity than I've had for a year! Thank you Marchant!

I called Anthony on Friday and to my surprise he offered to come and do the work on Sunday even though it wasn't an emergency call. He was in and out in only two hours, worked very hard the whole time, and charged a fair price ... can't ask for any more than that.

Overall, this was an easy and pleasant experience. I have since used Phone Jack Medic a second time for a landline phone that I was having problems with and again was pleased with the outcome.

He called back a few hours after I emailed him. Arranged a mutually convenient time to do the work. Came back promptly to finish up when there were some problems. Our only "disagreement" was that he wanted to do the return visit for free. We insisted on paying, knowing how hard he worked and how complicated it was. Marchant is polite, responsive, determined to make things work. And he charged just over half the amount our electrician wanted for the same services.

Mr. Anthony tested my phone wiring to determine if the problem was my inside wiring or the phone company's. Once he determined that the problem was AT&T's he called them, reported the problem, told them what he had already done and scheduled the repair. I didn't have to do anything. Mr. Anthony was courteous and professional. He also followed up with me to make sure AT&T had solved the problem. The whole experience was very pleasant.

Mr. Anthony was professionalism personified. Extremely knowledgeable about his craft and despite a daunting task, all the work went as smoothly as possible. Mr. Anthony worked steadily (for over six hours!) and without any complaints, even though it was very hot and the work required him to be under the house in a small confined space for a considerable amount of this work. The house had just been finished painted and remodeled inside and out and he was very respectful of this and went out of his way to avoid damaging anything. I am more than satisfied with the work and would use his services again and refer him to anyone needing repair or installation.

I selected Phone Jack Medic from Angie's list based on the report card and service descriptions provided by other customers. I called Mr. Anthony on Thursday to set up the appointment for Saturday. He was professional in every category, from the phone response to the actual installation of the wiring. He was early for the job and phoned ahead to let me know when he would arrive. He used state-of-the-art material, did the wiring, and re-installation of all services, phone, computer and TV. He was polite, informative and his price was below what I had been quoted by other wiring installers. We have a small home business and needed the computer wiring moved to another location in the home. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Anthony and I would without hesitation recommend him for your home or business communication wiring needs.

Anthony was a life saver. After waiting 2 weeks for Trinsic to fix our phone to no avail, we looked up Anthony on Angie's list and gave him a call. He was able to come out the next day (Saturday) and solve our problems. My husband is usually VERY PARTICULAR, and I always cringe when we have to get something done because I know he won't be satisfied.WELL...He was able to satisfy my husband!We will be calling him to do some network cabling next week. Anthony is thorough and he is well informed. He takes pride in his work and he won't leave until he has done it right! He was even able to teach my husband a few things about our phone system and the phone companies. I am going to write his number down in my contacts list for future reference. Mr. Anthony showed up on time, found a VERY obscure fault and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. Told me exactly what he was doing and showed me how to prevent future occurances. I was very pleased with his service and would recomend him to anyone.

It went better than I ever imagined -- Anthony understood the importance to us of fixing our dead line, arranged his schedule to fit us in, followed up, showed up prompt ly, focused in on the most likely problem, and solved it without excess charges or wasted time. You can't ask for anything more than the best service possible, and we got it.

Anthony is very honest, professional, and hardworking. He arrived on time and brought an assistant due to the complexity of the job. He and his assistant had a great attitude and started work promptly. They were very methodical and detailed. The job took 5 hours to complete. They didn't take breaks and only went to their truck when needing more supplies. I will definitely use Anthony again. His attitude, personality, and work ethic are very refreshing nowadays. Anthony was a very hard worker and very honest.He arrived on time and went out of his way to test and explain how everything worked. He completed the work over 2 trips (at my request) and even stayed until 1130 tonight to finish.

Called Mr. Anthony and left voice mail of which he responded to quickly. Set up service call which was performed within 2 days (due to my being out of the office, not his unresponsiveness). Repaired the wiring, actually in a better format than how it was set up the first time. Phones worked first time tried, and all cable functions perform smoothly. Quick, fast and clean. His work is highly recommended.

He showed up on time, corrected all the previous installer's mistakes and charged less than I expected.

Overall experience was excellent. Mr. Anthony took my call on his smartphone right away when I called on Monday night, told me he'd check his schedule and see if he could make me his first stop the following morning at 7am. He called back within two hours Monday night to confirm a Tuesday appointment. He showed up promptly the next morning at 7am, and even called as he pulled up to the curb. Within 30 minutes, Problem was traced to a faulty phone on one of the lines. We disconnected the problem phone, and Mr. Anthony recommended a replacement model. While there, he also changed two other jacks to accomodate the new number configuration, and showed me how to check service in the future, labelling some of the lines / line covers that ATT had left open and unlabeled. Mr Anthony was thorough, articulate, highly knowledgeable, and equipped with the right tools. He's also courteous and good-natured -- a really nice guy to work with. (And, it turns out he recently cabled my next door neighbor's house, too). Total time on site: about 55 minutes. Total charge: les than $100. I'm a happy customer -- both with Angie's List and with the Phone Jack Medic -- and highly recommend this business to others who need quick, capable, reasonably-priced phone wiring repair.

Anthony did an A+ job and he is an A+ individual. He is very skilled, thorough, methodical, conscientious, neat and nice. Unfortunately with the bathroom remodel contractor's men working 6 days per week, the only time that the phone wiring etc could be done would be on a Sunday with only 2 days notice. Anthony impressed me on the phone with the detailed questions that he asked along with his excellent reviews from prior Angie's List customers. He accommodated my Sunday requirement as otherwise the phone wiring job and the bathroom remodel would have been interfering with each other. Anthony quoted me $60 per hour. i had another estimate for $1000. Normally I prefer knowing exactly what i will be spending in advance but i am glad that I decided to hire Anthony. At his hourly rate, his bill was significantly less than $1000. I was so pleased with everything about Anthony and the great jobs he did, that i decided to pay him $1000. If he was not able to do the job on a Sunday, i would have been hiring someone else and paying $1000. Since i was about to pay $1000 to someone else and there is no way that anyone could have done a better job than Anthony did, i felt strongly that i could not in good conscience pay Anthony any less. I do not recall ever doing something like this before. I could not be more pleased with the end result. Thank you Anthony.

Anthony showed up on time as we had agreed and wasted no time looking at our panel and home running each room. Grade A +++ My wife and I are pretty darn organized and Anthony proved immediately that he was as well. He wired each room and completed the list of tasks very efficiently. We truly appreciate people who are like that. There was absolutely some troubleshooting involved and we figured things out. I will absolutely use him again and refer him to friends and family.

He researched which system would work best for my home And directed me to a discount site to buy the phones - he then came over and installed the system. I was only charged for his labor. That really impressed me

We called Anthony for an estimate and he came to our house on the very same day. He gave us a fair estimate for 7 Ethernet installation after he surveyed our house. He asked us specifically how many connections we wanted in each room and where we want the switch to be located. We thought his price was right within our budget and made an appointment with him immediately. We were very satisfied with his work that we requested he installed 3 more Ethernet cables on the very same day. Jack was flexible and had the parts to do it without any further delay. He was very thorough and made sure that all 10 Ethernet connections were active before he left. I will definitely call him again for other projects.
