I highly recommend Eric. He was reliable, pleasant, and seemed to have pride in his work. My 25 year old kitchen has seen lots of use. I cook all the time. Result: lost grout and dirty white grout. Eric did a great scrubbing and regrouting job. The area around the stove could not be totally cleaned to his satisfaction during the two days he worked, due to intense oil and dirt build-up. So he recommended a product I could buy and use in the future to do a cosmetic fix and offered to come show me how to use it for free, if I call him. In addition, he voluntarily discounted his original price because of that. He was disappointed that he could not bring that area up to the other ones (although it still looks fine), but I did not expect miracles. Otherwise, the rest ot the areas are great, and he matched the new grouted areas to the old ones perfectly. There's a new look to the kitchen.

htEric was great! He was very patient with my elderly parents and completely understood what they needed. He was also nice enough to get the bars for me which saved me a trip and time. He didn't mark it up either. He spent time making sure the height and angle was just right on the grout bars. Eric was friendly, patient and very reasonably priced. I'm happy, my parents are happy and we would definitely use him again for any kind of tile work. I highly recommend him.

Eric is absolutely the best! He is meticulous, conscientious, fastidious. I can't say enough good things about the perfect job he did for me! It was exactly what I had hoped for, in fact he exceeded my expectations. He replaced cracked tiles in the center of the floor and installed new tiles when we had ripped out an old cabinet. I needed the work completed before the delivery of a new stove and Eric was kind enough to squeeze me in to his schedule. I plan to use him again for a much bigger job the next time- installing a new shower pan. He's a real find.

Eric is a great guy who is very enthusiastic and "into" his work. He is prompt and very experienced. He is pleasant, reasonable and helpful in resolving any complications in the job. He is open to suggestions or special requirements.

I didn't dislike anything about him. He wasn't able to do it right away because he had to order new tiles. Everything was fine. He didn't get back to me for a day.

I found this tile repair man through Angie's List. I called him on a Monday, and we set an appointment for him to come out and look at the job on Thursday. He arrived on time, and was friendly. I explained that water was leaking where my bathtub meets my tile walls, and I told him that my curtain rod keeps falling down. He told me that he can remove the existing caulking and grout and replace it with new grout and seal it, and he said that if I got brackets for the shower curtain rod, he would install them. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for the job, and we scheduled a time for him to come back the following Tuesday. On Tuesday he arrived on time, and was friendly. He looked at the brackets that I had bought for the shower curtain rod, and he asked me where I wanted them to be installed. Then he removed the caulking and grout and replaced it with new grout, and sealed it, and he installed the brackets. I don't remember how long it took him, but I think it was 2 to 3 hours. He charged me only $225, which was within the range of the estimate. As far as I can tell, he did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. My curtain rod doesn't fall down now, and as far as I can tell, there is no leaking.

Eric was incredibly professional from the first returned phone call to the final follow up...First, he returned my initial call the same day...and came out to give me an estimate on a Sunday. He showed up 5 minutes early to the estimate and gave me a complete rundown of what he thought should be done. I had originally intended to do the work myself and had already taken off several of the loose tiles myself and saw the extent of the damage to the backer board...and had done extensive research on the cure. Eric's recommendations were spot on with what my research had suggested would be the right solution. We scheduled the work for the next Wednesday...and again, Eric showed up on time and ready to go...he worked quickly and efficiently and was very open to showing me what was going on and what he was doing...he was done before noon and cleaned up after himself and said that he would return the next morning to seal the grout. Sure enough, at 8am on the dot he came up and took care of sealing the grout. Looks great! Eric is a great guy, very professional and a real craftsman with tile...I would definitely call him again for any of my tiling needs.

He did a floppy job and he keeps on procrastinating. He made a mess in my house and I cannot say anything too good about him. I would never hire him again. What he did is not okay because it was a small job that did not have to take that much time.

Eric came out and gave us a quote to replace the shower pan. It was a very good quote, based on others we received. Eric told us when he could do the job. He showed up at the appointed time and completed the project in the promised time. The project took about a week to complete. Eric worked within a confined (small) space, with some limitations very well. Eric was punctual and neat. We needed to replace some shower tile and wanted to "match" as best we could the existing tile. Eric specializes in "vintage tile work" and managed to find a close match within our budget. We feel that Eric went the "extra mile" on our project. We are happy with his work and would definitely hire him again.

Eric is a great guy to work with. He is easy-gong, cooperative, professional and punctual. He came out within a short time for a free estimate, then showed up early on the appointed morning and began work without further direction. He is extremely conscientious and seems to always put in more than is asked. At the same time, he is very reasonable about his rate. This is the second or third time we've used him, and as long as he is available I think he's the only person we're going to use for tile repair and installation.

Eric did a great job making a moldy falling apart ceiling into a beautiful shower ceiling. He also created beautiful shelves for us. He knows what he's doing and has creative solutions when it comes to tile repair. Would definitely recommend him!

Eric showed-up promptly at the scheduled time and performed all of the work in one day. The work was done professionally and counter looks like new.

Eric arrived on time. He explained what he was going to do. He showed us the epoxy grout and how he prepared it. He told us that once it is applied, it was permanent. He knew what he was doing and answered all of our questions. He then proceeded to remove old peeling caulking around the kitchen sink and replaced it with the permanent epoxy grout. Told us not to use that sink for 24 hours. He then replaced the grout of both a shower and bathtub. Eric was friendly, polite. honest and efficient. He did such an excellent job. I'm amazed that after 3 months everything still looks beautiful. I wish we had used Eric many years ago. He's also quite reasonable and professional. I am happy every time I look at my kitchen sink, shower & bathtub and then remember how horrible it looked before we had him do it. Both my husband and I can highly recommend him.

I contacted Eric the Tile Guy based on other reviews here from Angie's list; he was able to come within 24 hours for an estimate. I felt his price was fair for fixing three tiles, cutting one and placing it, and doing some regrouting in the kitchen. Instead of cleaning our bathroom tile he offered to provide me the "best grout cleaner" free of charge. We set a time later in the week for the work. I had a change of schedule and asked Eric to push back the service one week - he was very accomodating. He came the day scheduled (although he was a little late) and did the work well. If I need tile work again I'll call him! I have since used the free cleaner he gave me in the bathroom and was very happy with it; I'll be purchasing some in the future.

The job went well. Eric was well-informed and experienced in all aspects of the work -- and he was very pleasant to work with.

Went very well. After I (eventually) chose the rectangular tile, Eric was accommodating in terms of getting the work done (it was a relatively small job), was reasonably priced, and I was very pleased with the installation and the final result. Having just got the accompanying wood floors now installed, the tile looks perfect up against the wood.

My husband never finished tiling our fireplace or a lighting fixture in our dining room..Both jobs stayed unfinished for years...Finally, I had the good sense to look on Angies List for someone to finish the job...Luckily, we found Eric Veder..He was very professional and did a beautiful job..His prices are excellant and very fair.
