Eric from Tile Repair Service was a lifesaver! He was able to fix bathroom tiles of our that had been broken and chipped for years. Everyone else who looked at the problem had told us that we would have to retile our entire bathroom, spending thousands of dollars, but Eric was able to fix the broken tiles at an incredibly reasonable rate and save us a TON of money. We are so grateful and would hire him again in a second. High recommend!!

Eric was incredible. I contacted him and he came out to assess the repair. He gave me a very favorable quote. I authorized him to go ahead and we scheduled a day and time. He came out on the day and on time. He made the repair and reduced the amount charged, saying it was easier than he had anticipated. Eric has incredible knowledge and does great work at a great price. I couldn't be more pleased.

I am a natural worrier which makes it hard for me but Eric assured me that everything would be okay. He allowed me to watch him which I did for a few minutes every hour. He would tell me what he was doing and how it was going which really helped calm my nerves. He sealed the tile today and it looks beautiful. I don't hear any knocking under the tile and the grout is all repaired. Tomorrows shower will tell if the pooling in the shower was resolved, I believe it will be. Trust him he is a great tile surgeon.

I had to rip out some floor and counter tiles to install a dishwasher. Eric was able to reinstall the counter tiles without damaging them and match the Spanish tiles on the floor exactly. I can't tell the difference between the old and new tiles at all. He was great to work with and I would definitely hire him again.

Eric is a tile whisperer ... or better yet, a tile poet! He loves tile - and approaches projects with a blend of passion, expertise and knowledge that's really hard to find. With the skill of a true craftsman, Eric replaced our moldy caulk with beautiful epoxy grout. Our tub looks brand new! He took the time to analyze the project - and because he's so well versed in tile - recommended using epoxy grout which is stronger and more waterproof than typical grout to fill the gap. He quoted us a fair price and on the day of the project showed up on time and got right to work. He skillfully and cleanly removed the old caulk, which had been there for more than a decade and was splitting and turning brown. He then carefully applied the new grout. The amount of grout needed was larger than Eric expected, but he came prepared with extra material. When we saw the finished job - we were delighted. Our bathroom looks refreshed and brand new! Eric even followed up with us the following week to make sure it was 100% great. We only have one bathroom - so we were very nervous about this job. If anything were to go wrong, we'd be in a really bad spot with no shower. We'd spent years researching the person we'd trust to do the job and glad we found Eric. Eric responded to my inquiry right away and always had good communication. When he came out to assess the job, he showed up right on time, and texted when he was close. He was able to order replacement tile and do the job quickly and efficiently for a very fair price and great overall work. He left the place spotless and the shower looks brand new. In fact, the materials he used are better than the old materials and therefore we're better off than before we called him! Highly recommended.

I had floor tiles that were raised about the ground, and the grout was crumbling all around. I was frightened because I thought the pipes might have broken underneath. Eric assured me that that wasn't the case, and it had been caused by the house settling. He went to work immediately, did an outstanding job, and even filled in some grout that was missing in the kitchen (without being asked). I haven't had a repair person like Eric in a long time, and will definitely use him again whenever I have a tile problem. I would give him an A+++ if I could.

Wonderful! Eric most be viewed as a Tile Surgeon. He proceeds with precision and care, trying to figure out the most efficient way to do the job at the least cost to you. He was able to remove the tiles without breaking them. He analyzed the problem and proceeded to put numerous bolts into the wood to secure the floor, to stopthe loud squeaking. He wasn't satisfied till all the squeak was gone. In the upper bathroom again he removed the tiles without breakage, which saved time and me money because they had curves cut in them to fit, so he was able to use them again. On both floors he picked the tile to fix though the tiles next to the tile picked were also making noise. He even took care to make sure the the new grouting was as close as a match as possible. He was meticulous in cleaning up while working and after.He is a person who you can feel comfortable with being in your home. He really is invested in making the customer happy with the job he has done. This is the second time Eric has come to the house and I have been extremely satisfied and so will you.

Eric was punctual and on time the two days he came to do the job but the job he did was not well done. I am left with a mess that will cost me more to have redone. I hired him to glue back one piece of marble slab that had fallen off from under my fireplace. I was told it was a simple job and would not take long to complete. The first day he glued and taped the slab into place. He came back a few days later to seal and grout the slab. The grout that was supposed to be applied to only seal the marble was globbed on and spread using gloves with no tape down to protect the grids (where grout went into) and all over the black metal of the fireplace directly above the slab. My rep at Tile City asked me if he put down tape to protect the fireplace and everything above the area he was grouting. I told him nothing was put down to protect anything. He told me it definitely should have. The black metal of the fireplace with the grids got covered in grout. Tape would have created a nice clean straight line once removed. I did not feel like he was concentrating on his work. He was talking to me a lot while applying the grout. I know he could feel my concern and kept telling me not to worry about it and that it would look fine in the end. He had so much grout on areas that shouldn’t have and could have been easily protected with tape. Black is so hard to restore to it;s original state after being rubbed numerous times in an attempt to clean and most of it did not come off so it looks awful. I hired Eric to repair only the bottom marble slab. He proceeded to wipe excess grout all up and down the sides of the fireplace getting it in the seams of the black fire place. He did not even cover all the existing grout so it looked like a bad patch job. He then used a skinny wooden tool with a sharp end to try and clean off the grout on the black metal which ended up scraping the metal. The grout along the bottom has debris all in it from the paper towels he used to try and smooth it, He also got grout all over my brand new kitchen sink fixtures when cleaning off his towel that I had to scrub clean after her left. I had spent an hour painting the black bottom frame of the fireplace the night before he came so the job would look nice and clean. Since he got grout in the grooves and had to rub it off it also took off some of the paint. I am now left with a sloppy grout job with spots where grout is missing after he wiped it off and a scraped up fireplace which is going to cost me a lot to have repaired, The fireplace is the focal point of my room. When Eric could tell I was not happy with the end result he stormed out of my house slamming his doors yelling unkind words. I was in touch with him via text afterwards because I wanted to send him pictures and ask him if he thought it was quality work. His response was “It’s free”... not quite, it is going to cost me a lot more to have this mess repaired. When I show people the pictures they cannot even believe it.

Eric did a great job. He was very reasonably priced. He was happy for the challenge the job presented. It required finishing a job that was left unfinished- adding the metal edging to the horizontal edge where it was already on the vertical edge, not an easy job. No one else would touch it!! Eric figured out how to do the job the least destructive way then did it. He even made a special tool! He was quick to answer phone calls and messages. He was prompt and cleaned up the job site. I highly recommend him. He's the best.

He laid the tile and grout and was to return the next day to seal the grout. My husband and I came in to inspect the job. I saw that the tiles were not flush with each other. I pointed out a few areas where I found tiles higher and lower then each other. We told him it was unacceptable and how could he fix it. He said he could try to pop one out and tap others down. Then, he got upset and said never mind the job is free. We said we don't want it free, we want it fixed and he just walked out the door.
