They responded promptly when we called to make an appointment for an estimate. Mike came out. He was on time, polite and courteous. He explained all the options to us. We received a written estimate the next day. I scheduled the tree removal to be done on my day off at 8am and I planned my day accordingly. When no one showed up by 9am, I called the company. I spoke to Mike and he told me that they moved my appointment to after lunch. I told him how frustrated and upset I was. He did not apologize. Instead he said "We have access to your back yard, you don't have to be home". The crew of two people showed up at 1pm. They had their lunch in front of my house lying on the sidewalk, which I found strange. At 2pm they started working. They were done in two hours. They could have been done sooner,but one of the workers was smoking while he was cutting the tree branches, and the other was taking breaks to talk on his cell. They did clean up very well after the job was done.

We obtained three estimates, the first tree service came in a little higher and actually recommended Davey for this type of work as they have the bucket trucks and equipment to handle large jobs like this one. The estimator that came out, Mike, advised as to what several trees on the property where and what kind of care they needed. He also offered to haul away some smaller tree/shrub trimmings if we piled them up by the time Davey came to trim the acacia. Mike called when they had a cancellation and was able to complete the work earlier that originally scheduled. Davey brought a full crew and two very large bucket trucks and worked the whole day -- the crew left the yard is good shape, cleaning up well. All in all, we were very pleased with their work.

From obtaining the quote to the clean up afterward, they were very professional. I have only minor criticisms; i.e. they promise to come the day before and place"no parking" signs in front of my house. That did not happen but there were no ill effects (i.e. some one parking there and delaying the work.) The clean-up after the second day was not as complete as after the first but I have used tree services in the past that were far worse. The trees look very good. The company was very careful in protecting my fences, plants etc.

The trees are to huge and have been so neglected by my neighbors (trees are just inside their property line) that it's hard to see a big difference, although the workers spent most of the afternoon and hauled away and chipped a lot of branches. However, the workers were very pleasant and polite, on time, did good cleanup, and discounted the price by $100 after damaging an old metal awning. The price seems high, but I didn't shop for other bids. I've used this company in the past for stump removal and they did a great job for a good price. However, I think there are new owners since then.

This company trims all the trees, and shrubs around my property. I have had two years experience with this company. I am very pleased with the work they have performed. This company is experienced, and has all the proper tools it takes to complete the jobs. I am happy with the quality of work this company provides.

They were very good and we had no problem with them. The price was good for the work they did. The workers brought ladders and really seemed to know what they were doing. Everything was exceptional. It was done fast and they cleaned up after themselves.

This company knew exactly what they were doing. They had great workers and were very knowledgeable about how to trim my trees. This is a very good company. They have been coming out here for many years. They always do a great job and the employees are always very friendly. I will use them again.

SAFE AND BEAUTIFUL TREES HAS PERFORMED WORK ON BUDGET, PROMPTLY. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ARBORISTS. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. ALWAYS GOOD SERVICE. INITIALLY I FOUND THEIR PRICES TO BE COMPETITIVE, BUT NO LONGER CHECK OTHER COMPANIES SINCE THEIR SERVICE IS SO GOOD. THEY WERE ACTUALLY A VALUE STAR COMPANY.
