It was amazing at how pretty the rugs looked when they brought them back! Obviously I need to clean the rugs more frequently which I will definitely do and always us Lewis Carpet Cleaners. Estimates and services were provided at the time promised and everyone there is so polite and nice!!

Great! Very professional. Quick service. They removed ALL of the stains and brought the sparkle to the rugs which they cleaned. Would definitely use them again.

Dear Angie's List reviewer, Please delete this review entirely. My previous review was a case of mistaken identify. I never had any actual contact with this company at all, after all. I had them confused with someone else. You should just delete this company from my list of companies that need to be reviewed. I am so happy I found Lewis Carpet Cleaners through Angie's List. I live in the East Bay and could not find a reputable oriental rug cleaner who would do a good job without ripping me off. Lucky that I had errands to run in the peninsula area and was able to drop off my 2 oriental rugs. The rugs were filthy from dirt that two dogs dragged in, not to mention occasional accidents that Nature's Miracle Solution might have missed. The rugs came back squeaky clean, and their rates are the best in the bay area. Renata who fronts the office has the best personality. She is ever so cheerful and helpful. She is there on Saturdays til 5 pm which makes weekend drop offs and pick ups work. I highly recommend the service that Lewis Carpet Cleaners provide.

We have been using Lewis Cleaners for many years and have always been impressed with the quality of service, as well as how nice our wall-to-wall carpeting looks. They always call when they are on their way to our house. They check the areas before cleaning and always spray the trouble spots. They also go over the trouble spots a second time when cleaning. Their price is competitive. We wouldn't use any other company.

I had water damage in my home. The two large area rugs which protected the hardwood floors downstairs, which were destroyed, suffered as well but were salvageable. Purchased the two of the coupons from "you", Lewis Carpet Cleaners immediately got in touch with me. Very happy with them. Professional, on time, over and above in accommodating. Would definitely use them again.

The carpets which were cleaned after many years came very clean except for some tough stains which became lighter. The upholstery came out good. There was a small problem with one sofa set - they probably sprayed too much cleaning solution on it. It took more time to dry and also had the smell of the solution for a week or so. I am very sensitive to smells. Cleaning the whole house carpet and one sofa set took one full day. They came 2nd time to clean the 2nd sofa set. It dried faster and had no smell after 2 days. They came 3rd time to clean some small areas on carpet including the tough yellow stains. They cleaned 3 area rugs, 2 were big and oriental. One of the oriental rug is expensive and I was afraid it may get damaged. But they did a good job in cleaning these rugs. Overall I was happy with their service.

Overall the job went well. I had asked that they call me when they were heading to my house to make sure I was home since they had provided me with a two hour window. They did call to alert me they were heading over and arrived at the time they said they would. They quickly measured the areas to be cleaned and went over the estimate cost pluse a couple of add ons. I opted for both add ons - $45 for heavy scrubbing in the hi use areas (the first couple of feet inside the bedroom door for example). I also opted for the protection treatment because we have off-white carpets and any dirt or stains show up. They worked quickly and efficiently, the carpets look great, cleaner than any previous carpet company was able to get them. Our heavy use areas look as good as the rest of the carpet. We will use Lewis carpet in the future.

All went fine except that they showed up a bit later than promised, however, they communicated with me and all was fine. They worked very efficiently and with minimal disruption. The carpets were dry within 3-4 hours after they left and looked clean and bright. The area rugs were dropped back to our house a week or so later and also looked great. I would use them again.

What a pleasant customer service experience!!! I had 4 Persian rugs that needed cleaning. From the time I bought the Angie's list coupon to delivery everyone, and I mean everyone, with this company was customer service oriented. The owner, said he would honor the coupon, even though I bought it in December and it was only good for 6 months from date of purchase, and he did. The person who answers the phone at the office is very professional and flexible with making appointment times and taking details of the job. The crew that showed up knew what they were doing and explained the entire process clearly. I was told the work would take about 10 days, which was fine, since the rugs were going to a new home and we weren't ready for them anyway. Withing 3 days I was called and told the work was done. I asked if they would hold the rugs till I was ready for delivery. NO PROBLEM. I call back with and date for delivery and it was scheduled and delivered on time. I wish all companies I deal with had customer service from start to finish that I got from Lewis Carpet Cleaning.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for rug cleaning. When I called the company, they offered to come and pick up my rugs the next day but were flexible with scheduling the pick-up. Because of damage to one corner, they called me later to ask if I wanted the fringe replaced but noted it would mean resizing the rug and be an additional cost. They were patient when I took a few days to decide. They called when the rugs were clean to schedule a drop-off time. The rugs smelled great and looked considerably brighter. A few weeks later, the company sent me a nice card inviting me to participate in future deals, including deals I could refer to a friend. Overall, the service was great, and I would definitely consider using Lewis Carpet Cleaners for my other rugs. It was definitely a plus that they pick up and deliver, since it would have been difficult to fit the rugs in my small car.

We brought two area rugs to their shop to have them cleaned. It was cheaper to bring the rugs in, than to have them come pick them up, so we opted for that option.

They cleaned the carpets on the stairs, living room, bedrooms and hallways. The service was great. I was very happy with the work. They were professional, courteous and efficient.

They cleaned a large carpet approximately 10 by 12. They took it to their store to clean and returned it a few weeks later. The service was really good and we were happy with them.

At Christmas time 2013 I purchased 3 Angie's List coupons for Lewis Carpet Cleaning. Pick up was scheduled with a courteous employee plus there was appointment confirmation by the owner. Two very courteous employees picked up my carpets--to include a living room 11'x18' Kashan. Approximately 10 days later the carpets were returned and reinstalled--including that large living room carpet. I am totally satisfied with the service to include: scheduling, pick-up, cleaning, and reinstallation. I found all their employees were timely, efficient, effective and very courteous. I will recommend Lewis Carpet to family, friends and clients.

They were very professional and courteous. They showed up at the agreed upon time and gave us a bid on how much it would cost. we signed off on it and they cleaned the couch at the house and took the rugs away to be cleaned. they told us it would take 5-7 business days but they could "rush" it for us. It still took them 4 days to get rugs done. They service was great and the rugs and couch looked like new. I did not shop around since they received such great reviews on here and other sites, so I'm not sure if they are expensive or if it just costs a lot to get this work done. the cost of cleaning the couch was 25% of the cost of the couch and the rugs cost as much as we paid for them to get them cleaned. I am overall satisfied (service and communication were great) with hiring them and would again.

They were awesome. They were amazing with spot treatment of our carpet and are really worth it. They were timely, effective, polite and affordable.

I would definitely use them again.

Good service, on time with great results

It turned out great. I contracted with them to do more work than the original deal was for. They really did a good job on it. Even the old stains they were able to lift them more than I thought they could. Actually, the only reason why I had the rugs clean is because one belongs to a friend of mine that I am holding and the other one I bought 40 years ago. I just didn't trust anybody to do the work so when this came out on Angie's List, I felt more comfortable because it was on Angie's List and because they offered a great deal. When I talked to them and they were taking the carpets with them, I learned so much about how to clean oriental rugs. I was always concerned of having them clean by somebody I didn't know. And then I ended up having something in a worst condition that what I have originally. They came out so beautiful and they look brand new. They are brilliant so I am really happy with the service.

We had Lewis Carpet Cleaning clean two area rugs, both of which were extremely soiled by our shedding Black Lab. The rugs were collected & returned in a timely fashion & looked wonderful. I plan to contact Lewis Carpet Cleaning to clean our large, light Chinese rug at a future date.

Excellent job. We have had the carpets cleaned by others, but Lewis got them cleaner than any other carpet cleaners we've used.

They arrived on time at the begining of the 2 hour window they gave! Loved that! and the additional amount was $132.50. Still a really good deal for the rugs I was having cleaned! They jhad the rugs done within a week and eeliveered them back putting them all in place. They did such a great job I had them pick up 6 more smaller rugs. I ended up getting 10 rugs cleaned for about $710. NOw that's a BIG DEAL
