Description of Work: They picked up two large area rugs (one wool, one silk) on August 30th, 2014 for cleaning and scotch guard. Although it took longer than originally anticipated, the rugs were returned on Sept. 26th, 2014 and I was extremely happy with the job done. The wool rug has silk highlights and they pop again just like they did when new! We have a dog and two cats and the spots on the silk rug are gone and it looks much better. Overall, very happy with the quality of workmanship and professionalism. Will absolutely recommend Lewis Carpet Cleaning to others!

Description of Work: My rug is a 9X12 old Persian carpet. It had been cleaned 6years ago by Bloomindales in NY. After that cleaning, the colors retained their original brightness and the fringes were all intact. |However this time,when Lewis Carpet returned my carpet, the colors seemed too bright and artificial and the fringes were ruined. They had called me before returning my carpet to ask if I wanted the fringes replaced which I didn't. They tried to make up for my complaint by crediting me the remaining $85. which I owed. However replacing fringes would have cost #250. I would not have them do it. |They are probably ok to use for ordinary rugs but I do not recommend them for Persian or Oriental carpets.

Description of Work: Replace 12"x12" section of carpet that had dried paint soaked into it. The person they sent, Adrian, did an amazing job of patching the new carpet to the original carpet. He was also a very pleasant person and did great job of cleaning up the area when he was done. | |The quoted price was a little high, BUT their response was very fast which is what I needed, so I do recommend them if you have a job done fast, but done well.
