Description of Work: they have done excellent work in the past and have been able to get everything out of my carpets, this time was another experience. I dropped toilet bowl cleaner on my white carpet, I tried to clean it and made a half inch by 4 inch mark into a larger brown one. They kept asking me if it was from a dog and I kept telling them exactly what it was, they said it was from wetting the under carpet so what did they do, they made it worse, bigger and darker. When they called to ask if I was satisfied and I said no and they were going to charge me another $150 their minimum to fix it. I said that I wouldn't pay it so the owner did send them back at no charge but now the stain is bigger!! They have done excellent work in the past but just made a spot bigger and uglier.

This is our second time working with Lewis Carpet Cleaners; approx. 3 years ago they cleaned 2 other large wool carpets for us; purchased in the mid 70's. Lewis Carpets did a beautiful job. We were shocked with the results, our carpets came back cleaned with all stains removed. Description of Work: Bought Big Deal and was very pleased with Lewis Carpet Cleaning services from scheduling pick up to delivery. They arrived within the time window agreed upon, checked out the 2 room-sized rugs to be cleaned, rolled them up and took them away. The two-week return window was not problem for us. When our rugs were returned they were clean, fresh and they even looked thicker after cleaning. Also, because the size of my rugs did not add up to the stated "value" of the big deal, they added Scotchguarding at no additional cost. I didn't expect that. We would definitely do business with them again.

Description of Work: Excellent cleaning of white carpet on steep stairs and upstairs room/hallway - amazed they removed some very old and dark stains! They were not cheap, but so much more professional than Coit Cleaners that drenched our carpets and rugs so badly that we had to drag one large rug outside to save the hardwood floor underneath. |When they quoted a high price to repair the underside of a throw rug and clean it, I dropped it off for repair only, not cleaning. They cleaned it, and when I complained, they refunded the cleaning and just charged me for repair. |I will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: They did a great job cleaning our wool area rug... Which one should expect. They reinstalled the rug in an upstairs bedroom with smiles. I thought their cordiality on the phone and in person was outstanding. I have a feeling it is a great place to work.

Description of Work: They cleaned and put a finish on the polyurethaned wood floors. Some parts of the floor had a sticky residue and had probably had some product containing wax applied. The result was shiny and nice. There was a small area down the middle of the dining room that was not consistent, a minor problem. |The overall effect was very nice. The service was great.

Description of Work: They picked up, cleaned and returned my oriental carpet, They also disposed of my old rug pad and sold me a new one.
