The lady who took the order was great (Renata). However watch out, after the guy came out, he asked for money. He didn't know about the Angie's list deal, he was ready to take my cash for the job when I had already paid. Then, when I brought that up and he asked for the coupon code which I gave him, he asked for $20 gas money because I was in Santa Clara county. The surcharge was in the fine print on the offer as it turns out, but I missed it. So after I called and asked if they really wanted me to pay this, the answer both from the person who was here and Renata was, "Yes, Rick gets very upset when we don't collect the $20." So I paid it, since due to the fine print they weretechnically correct. No one told me of this charge when i called to arrange for the appointment, or when they called to verify the appointment or when the technician showed up. It was only after the cleaning was done they surprised me with this. So I won't be using them again, I'm very disappointed and told them so, but they still insisted on their $20.00. Renata said she understood my point, but she still wanted the money. Rick later called to see if I had any questions, but never to apologize. It's not the money, it's the principle, it was deceptive to hide charges in the fine print and not mention them over 3 different calls or before they started work. I learned to read that fine print and make sure to ask the total amount of the bill prior to arranging the appointment.

The gentleman that arrived for my appointment told me he was their ?grout specialist?. During our appointment I saw several missed spots in the kitchen, which he would touch up as I pointed them out. He then cleaned the bathroom, and was on his way. The following day, I noticed big spots of missing grout in the bathroom. I called Lewis Carpet Cleaner and they came back out. The technician told me it would be an 'easy' fix. He filled the empty spots with gray grout even though our existing grout is white. Needless to say the new grout didn't match. It was also lumpy, and the overall appearance just looked bad. Ray Lewis told me the lumpiness of the grout was my fault for running my fingers over it, which I didn't do. Also, our carpet now looks dirtier than it did in September. I normally have to clean my carpets every 12-14 months. My husband and I wear socks and slippers in the house. Now only 4 months later I?m thinking of having them cleaned again. This experience left me feeling angry, and I do not plan with working with Lewis Carpet Cleaners again.

Carpet cleaning was excellent. They didn't rehang the drapes exactly right when they brought them back.

They arrived within the time frame, explained what the cost would be and got all the stains out.

They were very punctual, excellent over the phone and completed all of the work as advertised. They will meet any competitive bids and do extra work that they feel is necessary for no charge.

Two men from Lewis Carpet Cleaners showed up at 9:15am a little later than expected but they were very nice and ready to do the job. They reviewed the area for cleaning (two 9x9 rooms and a short hallway connecting them and two velvet covered chairs). They then called in the job for a quote and told me how much it would be. I had a coupon from their website as well. The rugs were Berber type and extremely dirty. Because of the type of carpet (Berber carpet is looped) not all the dirty was gone. There were some shadows but I was extremely satisfied with the job as the carpets were a mess. The chairs came out great and everything dried really fast. I used to use Coit but these two guys are superior to their service. They will be coming back in 2 weeks to finish doing 3 more carpets as I am exchanging furniture between two rooms.

The cost was very high. They did an okay job, but I wasn't thrilled by their service. They were in and out of my home quickly, and didn't take the time to get the stains out of my carpet. I wouldn't recommend them to my friends.

Very professional job. No problems. I was particularly impressed with careful job done on the sofa, which had years of rubbed in dirt from our dog using it as a convenient rubbing station.

When I called them, they set up a time, the technician showed up on time and got right to work. He was so thorough and detailed, I almost felt bad that the price was so reasonable. He spent so much time on my couch alone, it was way beyond what I expected. They use a green product so I did not have to worry about the toxic smell lingering after the carpet dried. This was a great experience and from now on when I get my carpets cleaned this is the first place I am going to contact. Highly recommend.!!!

Once I received my coupon code from Angie's List (be sure to check your email spam if you sign up for a "big deal" through email). I then called Lewis Carpet Clenaing and scheduled an appointment within 1 week. They arrived within the 2 hr window period and did a great job. The steam cleaning cleaned even the spot stains. I would highly recommend.

As stated above, Lewis cleaning arrived 30 minutes early and immediately started cleaning the carpets. After finishing the cleaning one hour fifteen minutes later, and allowing the carpet to dry, the carpets are spectacular. I will use them again for my carpet cleaning needs,

They do a beautiful job. It thought they did an outstanding job. I've had two other places clean my carpets and they did no where near the job that Lewis did.

The guys were nice enough and the carpet cleaning was satisfactory. But it would've been more courteous if they didn't jump in there van & leave after the job without letting me know they were done & if I was happy with the job. When they first came they just kept telling me what a good deal I got & how they usually charge extra to come to my location. The deal also included a couch cleaning, but they told me they would do a small room instead. 07/20/2010: The next day somebody called to find out how everything went. When the carpet dried, I noticed how good of a job they had done.

I needed to clean my downstairs floors: LR DR and small den. The carpet needed cleaning badly, with several ugly spots. I also had 3 area rugs which were included in the cleaning, as well as half of my stairway. After the cleaning, he placed small foam blocks under larger pieces of furniture which helped dry the area. The whole procedure only lasted about 2 hrs., It took about 2 days for the carpet to dry. All spots disppeared and the rug now looks great.

The cleaning turned out wonderfully. The cleaning products worked very well. They also repaired a seam in the middle of the carpet. This was above and beyond because it was not in the original agreement. They also called me to let me know they were going to be late, but still managed to show up on time. Their pricing was very reasonable, too. When they did the cleaning around the carpets, they used guards along the walls to make sure paint was not chipped or damaged. I thought this was unusual and impressed me. I would certainly call them again if needed.

It went fine. I won't be using them again because I am moving out of state.

They work was good. I was pleased with it. When they came out they let me know that I didn't have the minumum amount of carpeting needed to be cleaned, so I had to add an area on. I think this should have been something the office staff informed me of before hand. Other then that everything was fine. I plan on having them out again sometime in the future.

Trevor, the technician, did a fantastic job! I am very happy with the work. I have had several other carpet cleaners in the 8 years I have lived here, and the work ranged from just ok, to really bad. Trevor was prompt (he even waited for me because I was later than I expected) and pleasant. He did the work quickly and it is the best this carpet has looked since we moved in. Trevor explained all the charges in advance and everything was exactly as promised. I also have had people in here who I didn't feel particularly comfortable with. Trevor was businesslike, friendly, clean and neat. And the truck was clean too. It was very obvious that Trevor knew what he was doing. I will absolutely call Lewis Cleaning the next time we need the carpet cleaned. I will also give his name to my landlord. I'm not sure if does it himself when tenants move out, or if he has a professional do it, but I'm sure he'll be glad to have a referral if he needs someone.
