I've used Lewis Carpet Cleaners several times and have always been very happy. Easy to make an appointment, arrive on time, explain what they will do, work efficiently, and do a great job. Very professional employees too.

They were professional. The carpets looked good after they were finished. I was very pleased with their service.

It couldn't have been more "professional ", whether one looks at the superb results or the demeanor of both Paul and Fernando. We are in our 80s, partially disabled ,and far from the neatest folks we once were. Consequently, the carpet was in desperate need of cleaning. Now, it looks like it did (no kidding) the day it was installed about 10 years ago. It was excellent and expensive carpet and it looks as though it just came off the roll. Paul explained the process fully then proceeded to execute it skillfully, exactly as promised. Don't worry at all about the job Lewis will do. These fellows are experts and friendly, too. Thanks, Angie, I followed the ringing recommendations registered before me and they were correct. I am totally satisfied.

They did an assessment, confirmed a quote, vaccumed the cleaning space, connected hoses, went to work and competed the job. I don't know when this apartment was built, but your review insists this box is filled in. I arbitrarily selected 1986.

Coordinator called to explain that the service person might be a bit late due to traffic delays. Service person arrived less than 5 minutes late. Gentleman was courteous, well-groomed, wore booties accessed the carpet and furniture situation. He pre-treated the obvious and less obvious stains. The professional then meticulously steam-cleaned the carpeted rooms with additional spot-treatment as necessary. He then placed dense foam blocks and slick squares of plastic under furniture legs in order to allow air circulation. The carpeted areas were 90% dry by the end of the day and the areas under the large furniture pieces were dry within 36 hours. I listed the price range because I could not remember what I paid for the 2 hours of work but I was charged only the price as estimated. Overall, I was very pleased with the promptness, courtesy, thoroughness and results. Yes, I will use and recommend Lewis Carpet again.

Called one day, they came the next - very accomodating, great service and price. I would use them again for sure! They got some tough stains out of one area.

I called Lewis Carpet Cleaners late morning. I had called 2 other carpet cleaners )one big & one small), and they could not provide same-day service. I wanted same-day service because we had a pet accident from the night before. The owner was pleasant & said he'd help out that afternoon. The workers arrived on time & went to work. The stain came out beautifully as did all my carpeting!

They did an excellent job from start to finish. We did the bid by phone and they came the next day to pick up the carpets. They packed one carpet in paper for storage. The other carpet they put back in place including moving the furniture. Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. I will use their services again.

My roof leaked and caused water damage to my upstairs carpets. My HOA hired Lewis Carpeting to come out, pull back the carpet, remove the tack strip and mat, treatd the subfloor and carpet, clean the carpet, and leave behind a large fan to dry everything. The Lewis Carpeting technician was punctual, professional, polite, friendly, thorough, and very informative. I would highly recommend Lewis Carpeting and plan to use them in the future to clean my carpets.

I like the extraction method and I need them to put the furniture on blocks so they can clean under it. He did it efficiently and correctly, just the way I like it. I was very happy with them. I talked to the man on the phone and he gave me a price. He sent somebody out and the price was a little different. I told him that that wasn’t what I talked to his boss about. We agreed upon the price that he quoted to me in the first place. He was going to charge me mileage but that’s not what we agreed upon. The price was fair.

Friendly workers and excellent carpet cleaning. Except for family room carpet, the LR/DR and hall carpet were off white and 20 years old. Looked new after the cleaning. FR was a darker color but also looked great.

I wasn’t in town and I did everything over the phone. They were great and reasonable. It was a small job and he even put scratch cards on the stair way. They were very responsive and punctual. I will continue to use them in future.

First I should say that before last year, I had never hired a carpet cleaning company. After I used this company last year, I was blown away by the service tech, the quality of the job and his punctuality. I just did not have the same experience this time around. My first experience was an Angie's List Special, $120 for an even larger portion of the house last time. So they did quote me a cost for the couch and said the tech would measure my house and give me a written estimate when he got here. Two guys showed up but one was clearly in charge. I said that a friend has sent me a special for Lewis cleaning that morning and could I use it. He asked if it was a groupon and I said no, it's not, its a company like groupon. No response. He measured my couch but said I would be covered by the minimum carpet cleaning rate. Then came a soft upsale, for 2 additional items. Once he left and I looked at the receipt, I saw that it was typed into the order so I think he was directed to offer these services. They did a fantastic job of cleaning, it took 3 hours. Ok, when it came time to pay I asked if they took credit cards and/or checks and he said "a check would be great" and I said "do you not take credit cards, I thought you took credit cards?" and he said "my machine does not work well" and I said "well I would like to pay by credit card". So he took his machine out and tried to run my card a couple of times and then said "sorry, it will not work, I will need a check" and I said "can we call someone in the main office who can run my credit card" and he said "no, if my machine does not work, I am told I need to take a check". So I reluctenly wrote them a check. I guess after my flawless experience with them last year, there were just a few things that did not match up to my last experience.

It went well. They were very respectful of my furniture. I think they did the best job.

They were great. On timie and did the job quickly for less money than I was expecting. The carpet was bright and clean, except for a few spots that they pointed out and explained why he couldn't get it completely clean. They left us with a spot cleaner for future spots on the carpet, which we have works great. I'd use them again in a flash!!

They came when they were supposed to, they did the job. They did not try to upsell me. I was very pleased.

I am very pleased with this company The service person showed up on time, and was very professional and thorough. He did the best job of any carpet cleaner we have had for a long time. He cleaned all the edges (without being asked) so now the carpet looks so much newer. I also feel it is really clean because of the method that they use. I will definitely use them again.

Overall the job was finished in a couple of hours and again I was very pleased with the final results. I would highly recommend their service and I'm certain I will be using them again in the future.

The carpet had never been cleaned before, and our dog had died, so my main concern was getting his scent out of the house so we could get a new dog and start fresh. (A friend came over with her dog after mine passed away, and her dog immediately went to my dog's favorite "resting spot" and started sniffing, and I thought, "Uh-oh, I need to get that cleaned even though I can't smell anything." She came again after the cleaning and didn't find anything that interested her. Our sofa is covered in a chenille fabric, and had also never been cleaned. The upholstery was six years old. Carlos did a great job. He cleaned the sofa first, and then the carpet. The sofa looks beautiful . . . like new! However, he sprayed a scented product on it, the smell of which was quite overpowering to me. (I have sensitivity to scented products and never use them in my home.) I wish he had informed me before spraying it, but he told me that the upholstery was so full of dust that it would have stunk if he hadn't done what he did. I'll take his word for it. The carpet is very clean, although it wasn't too dirty to begin with, just possibly scented to a dog. The work was great, and I would hire them again, but I had the cleaning done during the rainy season, and couldn't leave the windows open to facilitate drying. It was three days before everything dried out. I was worried at first, but now everything is fine. Two weeks later the carpet is clean and dry. The sofa still has a slight scent, but it's fading. I think I put the cushions back too soon, before they were completely dry. I should have left them upright for a few days. Next time I have cleaning like this done, I'll do it in the summer. I live in San Jose, and they charged me a $20 surcharge for gas to come to my home from San Mateo. I hired them because of their Angie's list rating, but next time I might hire a local company and save that money.

It went fine. The workers were good. They were conscientious.

They did an excellent job. They showed up a bit late but within the time window they promised. They did call ahead to notify us that they were on their way. They took less time than I expected, probably since the house was empty and they didn?t have to move any furniture, but still did a good job. They took care of a bad spot on the stairs and were able to get most of the stain out.
