So good, I don't even know where to start. Renata in the office was so nice and cheerful. They came when they said they would. The carpet SPARKLED. They use water extraction, not spraying gross soap on the carpet, then grinding it in with a rotary machine. That's bad and yesterday. Importantly, as I live in a high-rise, their equipment is portable - not truck based! Portable and powerful. I've already recommended to other friends in my 25-story building. They're amazing.

Love my experience with this company. They are professional in every sense. |They work with you regarding pick up and delivery arrangement. The cleaning itself is done beyond my expectation. I'm satisfied with their job and would recommend it to others. Bothe the driver and owner are very courteous and this leaves a very good impression about how they conduc |t their business and the way they treat their customers.

The owner, Richard Lewis, was polite and professional, as were the technicians who came to perform the cleaning. They were punctual and got to work quickly. I was relieved at their prompt response and ability to provide the service immediately because we have small children who spend all their time playing on the carpet and the state of the carpeting when we assumed the rental was gross, it had either never been cleaned or been cleaned by amateurs. After our quote, the technicians were able to clean the carpeting the same day. They quickly got to work: vacuuming, cleaning the carpeting, and drying it as well. They were very kind and answered our questions / listened to our concerns. Great service, would highly recommend, and definitely use their services again. My only regrets are that their prices seem a little high and there are some areas on the stairs that didn't stay a clean as I expected once the carpeting dried.

It was time to install a runner up the stairs. I had purchased the 27' runner, but it had been rolled up in the garage for a couple of years, gathering dust. Unfortunately, it looked as though some rats had frolicked across it. So although the runner was unused (by humans), it certainly needed cleaning! Lewis Carpet was highly recommended on Angie's List, as well as by a carpet installer. I got a couple of bids over the phone from companies listed on Angie's List, and Lewis Carpet Cleaners gave the best bid. I dropped off and picked up the runner (that got me a discount), plus they gave me their Angie's List discount. The runner was cleaned and ready for pick-up in only four days (which was three days earlier than promised), and it looks great! :) Renata was professional, and nice to work with. I'd use Lewis Carpets again, in fact I already have a bid to clean my Persian carpets (I'm pleased they'll give me an additional discount as a returning customer).

They are no better or worse than other carpet cleaning services that I have used. They are 3 times as expensive as others that I have used. I used them based upon a recommendation from the company where I purchased flooring. I would not use them again.

They called to arranged the appointment and picked up two area rugs, one silk and one wool for cleaning. They delivered the cleaned rugs after a week, in cleaned condition. They were courteous and punctual and the quality was good. I would use them again as their quality is good and prices are very fair.

Very responsive, came on time. They were very careful with the furniture and walls, very polite. Although quoted a time of 7 to 10 days, the carpets were delivered in 4 days. Again, very courteous and careful - and patient in placing the rugs exactly where I wanted them. The carpets looked great.

Adrian, who picked up the rug was on time; he was very professional, helpful and friendly to me and my dog. Though they said they rug would be back in (think) 5-7 business day, I said I really needed it by the end of the week. Adrian agreed to this... So I asked about my dining room rug. He offered the same Angie's List price for it and offered to have it back to me on the same day as the living room rug. Sure enough, Thomas showed up at the agreed upon day and time and helped me get both rugs back in place. And the rugs look great. Both of these men seemed to know their business and were very helpful. I would use this service again.

Long overdue review. We have used Lewis Carpets on more than one occasion, so the cost varied. (Hence, the $1.00) Their prices are competitive, the carpets are returned without the chemical smell, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they staple a coupon on the back of each carpet. They always treat me with respect and kindness. The first time they picked up a few rugs to be cleaned, and we were having difficulty getting ourselves resettled into a new house (nightmare contractor), they kept our rugs for us with an empathetic attitude and no extra charge. Their investment in customer service, and the pride they take in doing a good job, is rare in today's world. Please learn from our experience re: cleaning and shipping your carpets. Our previous carpet cleaner cleaned and wrapped our rugs for shipping and storage - before one of them (wool/silk) had completely dried. When we finally unwrapped it, it was entirely mildewed. No question, Lewis Carpet clearly made heroic efforts to salvage the rug. We knew it would never be the beautiful rug that it used to be, but Lewis returned it without the mildew smell and looking better than we thought possible. We use it upstairs. Someday, we will replace it, but it works for now.

Cleaned oriental carpets. I liked them and would use them again.

They did a fabulous job! Quick, courteous and professional. We will call them again. The cost was less than I expected. They were on time.

They look BEAUTIFUL. I'VE used Lewis Carpets before and they are honest, dependable and do great work. The workmen at my house are very knowledgable and don't try selling you services which you haven't requested. I will always use them.

Carpets were cleaned. We were happy with the service and will use them again.

I have seen their signs in my work neighborhood. I needed a large area rug cleaned that had been affected by water. Dropped it right off – they took care of everything. Very reasonable price for cleaning the size of rug and blocking needed.

Lewis Carpet did a great job cleaning my area rugs. I have dogs that have chewed bones on the rugs and left residue. Lewis Carpet managed to clean the carpets, removing this residue as well.

They did a fine job. Scheduling was easy, I called and they were able to set me up with an appointment.

It went really well! Thomas cleaned some dining room chair upholstery that we had almost given up on.

After a long discussion on pricing with the scheduler, after the work was done they informed me they needed additional money for coming to San Jose. They were quite insistent and told me they wanted their travel money even if it meant they could never do work here again. So I paid them, but it was a horrible experience. Now I'm on their mailing list and phone call list and they won't leave me alone.

They did a more than adequate job. I was pleased with the work. I would use them again.

This was a great service. Courteous on the phone, very informative about carpet cleaning process, easy to schedule pick up appointment. Carpets were returned to our doorstep promptly in heavy plastic protective wrap about a week later. It was like unwrapping two brand new rugs. We have two small dogs that shed, and there was no signs of dog hair or smell. Exactly the kind of service I would hope for!

Arrived from Redwood City on time. Walked thru the job with the renter. Did the job, and then some!!! reduced the price by the Angie's very generous coupon value. Consulted with and visited a neighbor about his problem stain!!! Worked on it without cost!! I'm sorry Morgan Furrow's company is so far away, but he says they serve San Jose no problem...

Thomas from Lew Carpet Cleaners arrived on time and was very professional. He worked hard to get out some stubborn and set-in stains. He was also very courteous and friendly with my elderly father who was at home during the cleaning. This is Lewis Carpet Cleaners' 3rd trip to our house and they have been great. I would definitely recommend their services.

I had many questions about choosing a carpet cleaner because I have recently developed asthma following a case of Pneumonia. It was important to clean the carpet before an appraisal. They told me about a product they use, on request, called Procyon which has very few side effects for people with asthma and other health-related issues. They also said the carpet cleaning could help the asthma by reducing dust. Their scheduler, Renata, was very helpful and I also spoke with the owner of the company. On the day of the cleaning, the owner himself arrived to do the job as some employees were out. He was very professional, efficient and informative. He quickly measured the rug area and agreed to what I felt was a very fair price honoring the Angie's List discount. He recommended that I stay out of the condo while he worked to reduce exposure to the product, then return later after it aired out. As a precaution, I stayed away overnight. When I returned, the rug looked great. And I had no reaction to the product. There was a small amount of a damp odor in one room that was difficult to air out. I called the company and they said they have an additional treatment they could come back and use if it's really a problem. But, I used an extra fan and it was fine the next day. They said it's an option to use the additional treatment next time if I have corners that are difficult to air out. The owner left a small bottle of the Procyon cleaner for touch ups. It has been a month now and the rug still looks great. I'm very happy with the job that Lewis Carpets did!
