Junk King Peninsula

It was excellent. It went very well. We spent another $100 above the big deal price because we had more stuff than what was on the deal. They were very good and they did a very good job. They had very good communication skills. They had a timely feedback and they sent us the information that we needed because we were not in the area. We were out of the state so they were very good about communicating with us.

They were really good. It cost a little more than i thought it would. They were very nice. They did everything we asked and even cleaned up afterward. It was well worth the price after the results

They did a good job. They showed up on time and removed everything that I asked to be removed.

They are prompt and even show up early usually. They are respectful and the team leader ensures there are no problems or handles any problems immediately. I could not ask for better service.

Wonderful! The 2 gentlemen called ahead to tell me they were on their way and arrived within a minute of when they said they would be there. They were well-prepared, courteous, efficient and more pleasant than most people waiting on me in up-scale stores! All in all an EXCELLENT experience. I would definitely use JUNK-KING of San Carlos again.

The two young men were prompt, courteous and very efficient. They were impressive.

It went well with Junk Kings. They did a good job and they took everything I wanted taken. They were very nice to work with, we set up the appointment and they came when they were supposed to. They communicated pretty well. I gave them an idea of what I wanted gone. There were a couple things we talked over. It turns out I had some paint cans underneath something so they couldn't pick it up. They were in boxes so I didn't know about them. That was kind of a pain because I have to take it, but they were clear about that in their material. so they communicated that beforehand and also when they came across it. I also had some plant pots and they said they couldn't recycle those, that instead they would just get thrown away. I had a place I could recycle them so I told them to leave them. They were very responsive and on time. I would probably use them again.

Punctual. Fast. The team also swept and left the garage spotless.

We contracted with Junk King through an Angie's List Special offer for $99. They were professional, friendly and polite. We were slated for the 1-3pm time period and they called us twice to assure us that they were on their way. They did all the lifting and moving and within a short period of time our garage was renewed. We would definitely use Junk King again.

I purchased an Angie's List Coupon for $99 and was contacted within 24 hours to schedule the service. They came to the house and told me there would be an additional $100 charge based on the amount of material, and they would need to come back with a bigger truck. The work was scheduled for the following week. They returned as scheduled and everything was removed and the area was left clean.

Outstanding service and value because everything they took was covered under the $99 Angie's list Big Deal! They were 20 minutes past the appointment time but they called me prior to the appointment time to let me know they were running rate and called again 10 mins before arriving. They were very accommodating, polite and fast. We had 2 large CRT TVs which they had to carry down 30 steps. Would definitely use them again...even without the Big Deal.

It went very well. I was given a service window of 8-10am and received a call about 8:30am to say they would be at my house in about 20 min. They were there on time. Two strong young men and a truck removed all that stuff in less than 45 min.

They were great. They showed up on time. They were kind. I can't speak highly enough of them. I would recommend them to anyone. They even sent us a Christmas card!

It went well, it did not cost extra and they do need to be more clear on their price. They were pretty good and came quickly. I might use them again. We had it all boxed up, so it took them 10 minutes.

Junk King came in and did the work promised, we had to pay $200 extra for some of the items that needed to be removed. Overall, good experience.

Called to tell me he was running 15 minutes late, even though he was still well within the 2 hour window he had requested. Exceptionally thoughtful of him. The work was fast, clean, and complete. I'd definitely use them again.

I am building a house so I have lots of junks, they promised me to come back the next Monday to give me a price like $450 for the full truck load of the hauling but they didn't show up. They just took the easy money so actually I think they are so-so as compared to others. They don't honor their promise and that is not very good. I showed a couple of pictures and I think their truck size is maybe on the small side and then I'm not sure but I think they took out 1/6 of the truck load's stuff. I told them that I had a big pile of junk and it's a bigger business and they said they can come back next Monday and then take that full truck of load but they didn't show up. My general contractor actually have another party who came out to the site with a much lower price. It's just an easy job, they just took whatever they like, I think they just took out a lot of wood, the easy stuff and that's it. They also spend a little amount of time, it was like 20 minutes just picking easy stuff and then just leave. The men who my GC hired, they actually had to pick out those small items one by one like boxes and some tree limbs. What they gave me is not a free estimate because I actually asked them to do the job even though it's $99. From their point of view maybe it's a small amount but for my perspective it's not. Maybe I'll use them again if I have an item I need to haul away like 2 furniture or old refrigerator.

I was ready 3 days early and when I called to move up my appointment, they were able to fit me in the same day. I was given a two hour window (1pm - 3pm) and the team called to say they'd be there at 3. That was surprisingly polite as the time was still in my "window". They also called when they were 20 minutes away (which was great so I could make sure I was available when they arrived). Went smoothly. Manueverd the truck right up to the fence on the alley and tossed everything in avoiding my fence altogether. Since my piles were on dirt, I wish they had had rakes to pile up and take away all the little bits, but all in all, it's great to have the space back. All the Junk King employees I met were very professional and polite - which is always a bonus.

I was given a two hour window. They arrived in the first 30 minutes. They called 20 minutes before they arrived to let me know they were on the way. They pool reel was extremely long and I was unable to take it apart and the freezer was large so neither items could be picked up by Recology 's free pickup. They gave me the quote and removed both items in less then ten minutes. I was very pleased how quick and easy it was to arrange and have the items removed.

They were extremely quick, clean and courteous. I looked up the price of renting a debris box, and it was around $400, so their service was definitely worth it, since they have better expertise in knowing how to pack a truck full.

Great. It was delivered on time and we got to keep it a couple extra days, so we had plenty of time to fill it with our discards.

The gentlemen showed up on time looking very nice/professional. They explained that they charge by how much space the load takes up in their truck. I had one of their coupons - which helped a little. When I brought up taking bricks and pavers, the guys explained that bricks and pavers are charged by weight - which is a lot more expensive. I advertised the bricks and pavers on Craigslist, "free to good home." Much more cost-effective and all worked out well.

The whole process went very well. They were very fast and worked well with the situation in a high-rise building with elevator and doorman. All at a reasonable price! They had to deal with a large metal piece that years of weather had fused together and would not fit in the elevator. Instead of passing on taking the item they jumped right in and pulled out a hack saw to break it down and remove it. A great experience and I will use them again.
