Description of Work: Can't say enough good things about Rich. Prompt, professional, pleasant. Always explains what is wrong, how to fix, costs. Repaired our dryer, our gas stove top. We recently had him out to fix our washer and it could not be fixed. He explained the problem and was so kind to not charge for the visit and diagnosis. |Hope to not have any appliances break down anytime soon, but if we do then we will definitely be calling Rich.

Description of Work: Our 8 year old washing machine at our business stopped working. I called around to a couple vendors and they either didn't work on our model or couldn't come out to look at it soon (10 days!). C & A Brown Co was able to schedule someone to look at it in two days. Rich came out and replaced a valve. He said it wasn't unusual for this part to need replacing. He ran a diagnostic on the machine and said everything else looks good. Rich was friendly, helpful, and professional. He arrived on time and did the work in about an hour. The washing machine works great now.

After describing the problem with my dishwasher over the phone the repairman showed up with the correct parts on his truck. The work was performed in a clean and professional manner and they stayed until the dishwasher ran through a cycles to make sure everything was working properly. The bill was actually lower than I had anticipated it would be.
Description of Work: Installed device/part on dishwasher so the door would stay in place and lower slowly.

They were on time and what was really nice was that they gave me a call 30 min before he came out to allow me to get home from work so I didn't have to wait around all day.
Description of Work: Replaced the display panel for my Thermador double oven and replaced the lower oven's outerglass.

+ -1 moreI called on a Monday and they said they have technicians in my area M, W, F, and we set up a time for Wednesday afternoon. I had time conflicts in the morning and late afternoon and they said they'd work around them, giving me a 1.5 hour window. They said if I'm at work, they can call when they're on their way so I don't have to wait around. They also called that morning to give me the exact time frame. Rich arrived in the appropriate time frame, and diagnosed the problem immediately. After fixing it, he showed me more about how the washer worked, and how I could fix this problem myself next time it occurred. He told me about the different settings on the machine (helpful since I don't have the original instruction book) and to keep the water source off when not in use, to prevent possible pipe breaks. He made sure to check if the timing of his visit was good, acknowledging that I had timing issues. Surprisingly pleasant experience. I'd use them again.
Description of Work: Our clothes washer was taking too long for a complete cycle. Rich Galletta diagnosed the problem within seconds of turning on the machine and cleaned out the cold water filter.

Description of Work: Service call for a broken washing machine. Make sure you ask up front how much things cost i.e. service call etc. I failed to do this and the person who came out to my house said he tried to replace parts in the machine, but they wouldn't work and that since they were an appliance sales company, would I like to purchase a washing machine from them? Needless to say, I went elsewhere.

THEY WERE ABLE TO SERVICE OUR DISHWASHER THE DAY AFTER WE CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT, AND THEN KEPT US APPRAISED AS TO THE STATUS OF THE PART THEY HAD TO ORDER. ONCE IT ARRIVED, THEY PROMPTLY INSTALLED IT. WITH THREE SMALL CHILDREN, A DISHWASHER IS A NECESSITY, AND THEY UNDERSTOOD OUR URGENT NEED TO HAVE OURS FIXED.
