Watkins Carpet Cleaning

I bought a big deal from this provider, and he responded very quickly. We set up a time, then I had to cancel and reschedule by a day, about which he was very patient. He showed up right on time with his partner, Carol, and they as a team got right to work after asking particulars about how old the carpet was, when I had it last cleaned, if there were problem spots, etc., all expected queries. They then got to work, stating they didn't think there would be a problem even with my dog accident stains. They were done in half the time I thought it would take, since other companies have taken longer and not done as good a job! To add to that, they did the best job on my carpet I've ever had. It looks like new, and that's saying something with a 25+ year carpet. No stains, no marks, fluffy and bright. He asked if we would want the stairway cleaned for a small extra charge, which sounded great to me, and they did a fantastic job on them too. We're more than satisfied and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Hard workers and very personable and knowledgeable.

Scott and his crew arrived as scheduled and got right to work after we discussed the additional cleaning I wanted done. I had originally purchased a coupon, Big Deals, and added more rooms when they got here. They were very thorough and Scott very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I have animals and a big pet hair problem so he was up front about the products he would be using and why they would help in the long run. No hidden anything. Very honest about the extra costs and why. They even threw in some stain removing for free in places. I also have a couple of small bleached spots that he said he could fix. Took a small sample of the carpet to be able to match up the color and is planning to send me the product so we can fix the spots. I have a dark blue carpet so they really are noticeable. Overall I was very impressed with Watkins and the team. They did a wonderful job.

I might add that I was curious to see the rinse water, Scott confirmed my suspicion that the other guys didn't do a very good job, as bucket after bucket of grimy black water was poured down the drain! The price was very reasonable and Scott even cleaned four of my screens for no charge! I joined Angie's list so I could have somebody with lots of experience and a good track record, and I am very happy with the results. Scott is a hard working guy who takes pride in his work...I would recommend his company and would call again without hesitation...thanks Scott and Angie's List!!

It was easy to make an appointment. They called to change the time which worked out better. The service prices were very clear and the work was done well. they even cleaned the piece of rug at my garage door. He was chatty.

He was prompt, friendly and courteous and did a fast and efficient job. The carpets look great.

I had called Watkins Carpet Cleaning service after I had located them on Angie's List. I explained to Mr. Watkins that I had an old carpet that had become extra filthy from having my animals in the house and had wondered if he could get it clean. After he explained the process he uses for his carpet cleaning, I made the cleaning appointment. On the day of my scheduled service, Mr. Watkins called to ask if he could come earlier then the scheduled appointment time, which actually worked out great for me. When he arrived at my home, Mr. Watkins explained each step of the way on how he and his son were going to clean and treat my rugs. They provided a fast, efficient and thorough cleaning of my carpets, providing extra time and care to difficult to clean areas. When they cleaned an area rug in one of my cat rooms, Mr. Watkins even went the extra mile and cleaned a particularly heavily soiled area on one of the cat trees without my asking. He used large fans to dry the rug after the cleaning process was completed. I was very happy with my experience with Watkins Carpet Cleaning and would use them again in the future without hesitation.

Scott's wife called to let us know that he was coming in late. He arrived 15 minutes late and told us that we would receive a discount because of this. He came in with his wife and 19 year old son who he is starting to learn the business. They started spraying the stairs and family room with a pretreatment because they were the dirtiest. Then they raked the carpet so the solution would penetrate the entire carpet. They first cleaned the living room because it was the cleanest and then the stairs. They left the family room for last because it was the dirtiest. Scott took 2 hours and 15 minutes to clean the house. He hand scrubbed and sprayed the dirtiest spot about 3 times and he passed the machine over that same spot about six times. He also removed gum from the carpet that had been embedded by my daughter. He worked so h****** my house. I also took some before and after pictures of the work he did. That dark spot on the carpet was not removed completely but is not as noticeable with the furniture. Scott and his wife did a great job and I will be calling them again when my carpets need cleaning.

I hired Watkins Carpet Cleaning and they did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! Got all the spots and small stains out of my carpets. Showed-up on time and were very professional. This is the best carpet cleaning company that I have ever hired!

It was a tough job due to the fact that there are two different types of carpet one of which is a shag. The carpet was very dirty due to pet stains and the oil or grease that comes from the fur. The provider said the water he extracted was thick with it. Certain areas were treated with things to remove odor, but, since my carpet is black, no visual stains were seen, even before cleaning. I only have a few negatives: I felt that the provider should have been familiar enough with shag carpet to know that it should be raked after cleaning so that the nap would be lifted so it could dry at its peak height; and I felt uncomfortable walking on wet carpet, feeling I might do some damage, It was thoroughly dry after about three days. All considered, however, I am very pleased, and feel proud of the way my home looks and feels due to CLEAN carpets. Incidentally, the shag is not the '50's shag, and is only a few years old. This is the first time it has been cleaned.

They were fine and did a nice job. It went very smoothly. The scheduling went well and the price was as advertised and discussed. They were friendly and had good follow through.

Wow did a fantastic job. We have 3 dogs and carpet was bad! Not only did he get rid of the stains but fixed the corner of 4 stairs that had been chewed by a puppy ,cleaned our sofa but also went over 2 kitchen rugs that pick up most of the dirt the dogs bring in from the yard. Highly recommended .

He was late for appointment but did call and tell me he was going to be late. The carpets look great. He did a very good job. Charged be extra for more treatments and it was well worth the money. The carpets look great. We have another national company cleaning our carpets for years. This job is superior to the national company.

It went good on time got the job done fast

After a CATastrophic event (actually 2 events) on my sofa, I knew I needed serious help. I joined Angie's List to find the perfect provider for a solution to this awful problem. I decided on Watkins Carpet Cleaning because of the great reviews and the business being local. My choice was the right one. The sofa bed was very thoroughly cleaned inside and out, in addition to being given a special enzyme treatment and lovely scent. It was a nasty problem, but these professionals knew exactly what to do and did a really wonderful job cleaning and restoring my sofabed. Instead of spending another $1500. on a new sofabed, I spent $100. for great service, plus a $10 tip. Thank you, Watkins Team, for all your hard work and knowledge; and thank you, Angie's List, for helping me to make the right decision.

I used Watkins carpet cleaning after moving out of our house in august. The service was about what I expected out of a carpet cleaning service, nothing really special. They were on time and finished in about the amount of time I expected. I spent about $300 for them to do out entire which is pretty big with 5 bedrooms.

Couldn't ask for a better experience. They were able to schedule the date I needed on short notice and were right on time. No waiting and wondering if they were going to show. My carpets were a mess from a previous cleaning (?) with another company. Scott and Carol were able to fix the problem and get my carpets back in shape. Will certainly be using them in the future.

Excellent work. I choose Watkins 1) because of the A rating from Angie's List and 2) because they were able to clean my carpets the next day (this really bailed me out of a jam). The service was excellent. I had 3 rooms and the stairs cleaned, scotched guarded and fan dried in less than two hours. They also removed all the stains. They are very professional, polite, timely and service oriented. I will recommend this company to all my family and friends. THUMBS UP.

Watkins carpet cleaning did an excellent job cleaning the carpet in my home. My carpets were stained in certain areas, all stains were effectively removed & they offered to to return to my home and retreat certain areas as necessary. I would definitely recommend this company.

Scott, Carol and Bill showed up at my house right on time (I live a good distance outside their normal area) and were very friendly and professional. My carpets were terribly dirty and stained by 5 years of cats, dogs, 2 somewhat messy humans and the fact that we live on a ranch and work on cars/trucks. Scott and Bill went to work pre-treating the stains while Carol started heating buckets of water and explaining the cleaning process to me. Scott also explained that some stains would not come out completely due to the dye that is used in cat food (Purina already got an E-mail about that) but they would lighten up considerably after a good cleaning. Well, my carpets look so much better now. The high traffic areas are clean and no longer matted down and the whole house just felt so much cleaner afterwards. Scott also went the extra mile and steam cleaned my baseboards and window sills at no extra charge which made the house look nearly new again. The use of the large blowers to help speed the drying process was a huge bonus to me and was also included at no extra charge. After Scott and his crew left, I went to town to run a couple of errands and by the time we got home, my husband and I were able to start moving furniture back into place. I was completely impressed with Watkins carpet cleaning and will easily recommend their services to friends of mine as well as call them back when I need my carpets cleaned again.

Watkins Carpet Cleaning of my house both up stairs and down stairs. This was a challenging undertaking because the house had been vacant for more than four years and the carpets were extremely dirty and stained. The Watkins Carpet Cleaning services worked hard to completely and thoroughly clean the carpet. After the first cleaning treatment, Watkins willingly came back for a second cleaning of selected areas to ensure the job was properly done. It was a very positive and professional experience. Scott and his son were great. I had another company scheduled and due to an emergency they had to cancel. I had done all the preparations and needed the carpets done. I called Scott and he came out the same day. He cleaned the four rooms, moved furniture and even moved the bed and couch. He uses air movers so the carpet dries quickly and he deodorizes (smells great) at no charge. I have cats and he was able to get the carpet looking and smelling like new. He cleaned my microfiber lounge seat for $25 and it looks great. Scott basis his cost on time, not just job. Scott and Derrick went above and beyond. I highly recommend Watkins Carpet Cleaning.

He was really very nice. He really went the extra mile for us. He worked very hard and participates a great deal with Angie's List, he was very proud of his positive ratings on the list and works hard to maintain his top rating. I found that his service reflects the positive reviews on his page. The carpets looked great, and when he cleaned the recliner, he took it outside and scrubbed it over twice. When he brought it back in, it looked brand new.
